Thank you both. Upthread it was mentioned that Oliver was missing for three years, which is why I put them in their early 20s. Although I still imagine having to raise a child that young and stepping in to help a friend after your significant other/BFF went missing and was presumed dead (?) would make a person mature fast. From your coments, I guess not. I will say that learning that the daughter is only two, I wouldn't expect to react on anything but instinct and what feels safe and familiar.

How old are they in this fic? I thought they'd be in their early 20s if Oliver went missing for a while after Felicity gave birth.

The talk about Tommy in fics made me think of The Darkest Hour. When is that getting updated? Is ckksac on any social media, has she maybe mentioned anything?

I totally heard it once somebody mentioned they did. I don't think it's the power of persuasion, since I never managed to hear him calling her baby as some people did once she was out of the chamber in 509.

I get why authors use Tommy. He was on the show for a relatively short while and there were unexplored dimensions to him. So he's a canon character, yet you have the option to do basically anything with him without it being out of character.

I don't remember Sissy as a bad parent in The Help, just unwilling to buy into Hildy's crap.

Thanks for this tip, I just tried it out. Very nice. While looking for instructions on how to make the solution (which I ended up ignoring), I came across a tip to add baking soda to laundry detergent. 1/2 cup for top-loading, 1/4 cup for front-loading washing machines. There's no Thea in the comics, but the show's Thea is an adaptation of the comics' Mia Dearden, Speedy. So, it could be a cool nod there, the possibility of Oliver and Felicity's daughter suiting up in the future. Dig's son does in one possible timeline, so this would make sense as well.

This isn't new, it's from a while back. If you want to look for good signs now, he spoke of them having a girl and naming her Moira recently. Which I think is a bad idea.

He was okay, not spectacular. He didn't really have much to do, but he was relaxed and natural on camera. Is that leather on EBR? Not a comfortable travelling choice.

I am being completely serious when I ask you, a confirmed Ray fan, why? He was so clearly Felicity's second choice. She had him as R.Palmer in her contact list when they'd been dating for a while. Since I disliked him then, it made me cackle with glee. I don't imagine it provoked the same reaction in you. So, why wouldn't you want him with a woman who chose him first?
