  1. Stupid things people do in a horror movie chapter 100-Intern realizes he's been played and confronts a potential deadly spy alone in a place void of assistance & witnesses. After going into a restricted office he wasn't supposed to for her. Hopefully he played her. E basically played the intern like P played Martha posing as an insider looking for information. Didn't E basically turn P in during S1 with negative reports about him. And E screams about loyalty to her? I don't care if it's her ah ha moment. (Although she let the intern live-how nice) Was P getting a new suit to meet with Henry's friend's dad/potential investor or money source? He did call Henry and was using the calculator right before. I think P was smart not name Oleg or give the contact details. I don't know exactly what it but I'm sensing a fizzle or maybe the final lull before the action.
  2. Bell is all about himself. He is neither good or evil. In the final scene with Lane he seemed a little surprised about her reaction to the revelations. Then when he gave her recommendations like take & rewrite the records rather than destroy them something didn't seem right. Lane will be back for revenge. She probably has enough working knowledge of surgical mishaps that will come into play next year. I was surprised the team went to Bell so fast without knowing in full that Lane would be/was 'taken care of'. Dr Austin coming back next year?
  3. Was the blonde lady assassin from Better Call Saul. Is she being set up as the big bad for next season or opener only. It was predictable, cliche and failed to write around two wrongs make a right(other than Pride telling people to stay out of it. Doesn't matter most of it will never make a courtroom or official investigation. Caper plots seem to big in tv this year.
  4. The scene plotting the murder was very well done. It was one of the most intense scenes I've seen on the tv this year. Outstanding I was pretty sure it was Shaun who hid them although I don't think she will be the blind follower they are showing now. Being a laid back lawyer she would probably prefer a more legal official solution than a media take down. Meghan never forgave Kyle for having a part in her trip to the facility. And although Kyle participated in the interrogation he helped the guy get away this year. I guess they're trying to show he's redeemable. DeAnn was disgruntled from early this season with the tie on the door then having her relationship with the son reduced when Terrance recruited him. And in season one of her talks with Meghan had a women finally in charge in Hollywood theme. Need more of Meghan's agent who wants to krav maga everyone.
  5. This is why I think someone else was in on it. Maybe they learned a few movie tricks going back to Hollywood. Ad some drugs which Rufus is definately smart enough to research it possible con caper style. Wyatt and Rufus did have a blunt heart to heart in which the idea could've been brought up. I'm thinking in terms of a Leverage reveal.
  6. I got this-did Al make a witness protection deal prior? Could that account for the sloppy death notification? I only saw it once but the roof top shooting was sort of inconclusive because didn't they show it from Hank's point. The prison interrogation beat down was rough to watch or know it was going on regardless. I was watching with a casual viewer and they were upset. It was very Vick Mackey. I thought that was harder to take than breaking the guys finger with pliers a few seasons ago. Those who said Hank will suffer more losing Al than he will going to prison got it right .
  7. Is there a possibility that Rufus knowing Jiya's hardline stance and insistence faked his own death with someone else possibly in on it so she would leave that time. Future Lucy and Wyatt are there to remind them go back and pick up Rufus like now.
  8. I'm wondering if not just for Timeless an after show might help many of these shows. Personally I think Talking Bad then Talking Dead saved those shows because it helps keep people engaged or thinking about. Without the after show people will start losing interest. That being said I still know too many people who want tv the way it was 20 years ago with more compact storyline where there's a resolution by the end. Throw in cable and internet competition there is just too much competition(saturation) so in a way their rating aren't that bad. But when other shows do much better yes I can see network executives wanting something else. Many also don't want to think differently and blow off science fiction as another super hero movie. If they want syndication and dvd sales perhaps they might renew it but it doesn't look good. Or get like Sharknado and do the annual Timeless two hour movie.
  9. Sunday night is tough although I think many are tiring of football games pushing back an entire schedule which is why they on some channels they post an announcement that the show will immediately following the game etc. I think Timeless stood a better chance if they didn't have to finish out against the Badlands or Walking Dead epis over an hour. I will say I think Talking Dead can be beat in that time spot. I don't get Madame Secretary and many other shows which are nothing but West Wing clones and too topical, if I want commentary I'll watch real commentary. Also game shows preceding Timeless maybe not the best thing. Too bad they can't have that Monday 10 slot back.
  10. Emma is a good bond villain with potential after we saw in Mrs Sherlock Holmes but they don't quite know what to do with her yet. After Emma was pushed/shunned aside in the opening scene you knew there would be backlash. Lucy's mom is the real female dog. Wouldn't bringing the Civil War book risk time in many other ways if the agent did other things he wasn't supposed to based on that book? Physic Harriet Tubman has alot of explaining to do. Two Lucy's and Wyatt's in the same ship? Also maybe my tv was working better than ever and there were no broadcast cliches but the look of the epi had the feel of a movie in story and the way it was filmed.
  11. Bad to worse this year. Nah no conflict of interest there. Any award or promotion Eddie gets will come under question as it should. But shipper soup at a Reagan dinner, really? Tttthhhpppptttttttttttttt...
  12. Ummm, didn't Lizzie finish last season on a respirator? And Aram just happened to notice there was accident involving that poor tree. His claiming he used the book as a negotiation tact might save his job, they might discipline him but it did lead to something. And correct me if I am wrong but I thought basic first aid says don't pull an object out of you because it could make things worse and/or allow for bleeding it's stopping. I doubt Samar would've survived beyond a few minutes after pulling it out.
  13. Some ramblings, possible changes or topics to be added. I like the idea of expanding/extending Larrick's storyline. A more credible foe or competent FBI/CIA putting pieces of the puzzle together. That still is my favorite season half of which is because he made progress. The story moved a lot from his perspective. Have we ever seen Claudia taking orders from someone else? Is her back story vague on purpose or she is considered 'a' character. I also can't believe a local cop/homicide detective wouldn't have raised alarms if he found dead bodies at a defense contractor/company doing secret work. Maybe more F-bombs and graphic descriptions would've allowed for more story rather than show gratuitous sex scenes in the earlier seasons especially. Some flashbacks of P & E earlier missions and/or recruitment of training of associates like Marylin. They showed some apprentices but were missing about 15 years of P&E's career. More flashback background on Stan ie his early FBI career? I was disappointed with them killing off Gadd, it's one thing for him to resign/be fired but they could've used him even if occasionally. There are always could haves should haves I just would've liked to see the story move a little faster and with more detail. Some scenes although well done over did it and wound up being filler.
  14. That's go me worried now for 'poor' Renee. Since she expressed interest in becoming an agent now one would have to wonder does she want to prove to herself and others she could do the job and/or contribute.
  15. The dying/sick artist. Does she have an actual disease or was she poisoned so spy nurses could be put in the house? Is the artist being used to soften E?
  16. I'm wondering since we got more of Paige's naivete she will get popped and the final conflict/drama will be P & E debating wether to flip/deal for her release and she winds up working with the pastor in another country?
  17. With the body count over the years I think the FBI might play it down and simply get a list of as many agents as possible, arrest and deport/exchange them for American spies. The presser would be how they broke up a huge spy ring and their operations void of detail.
  18. Was P's scene with Harvest all code. Was this Harvest's recommendation for mission/coup? Was Harvest's love for mother love his country but his hatred of father is hatred of current leadership and the mission should escalate from foiling Gorbachev to killing him? How would they have covered their tracks/disposed of identifying body parts if they just didn't just happen to come across an ax? This red shirted commie convert had a criminal history I guess including finger prints on file? I guess Harvest's home and office will be ransacked/ripped apart and that's where more evidence will come from. Assuming it's 1987 didn't the FBI change it's pursuit and shoot policy after the Miami shootout a year or two earlier? Stan's methods are suspect but with the illegals aren't spies frequently deported rather than tried? Unless they have direct evidence to any murders the Jennings could simply be outed and deported tactics/source of evidence be darned. I don't care about catching the spies I just want to see justice for at least one of the Jennings murder victims so hopefully Stan going retro means that.
  19. P and Oleg are good spies but/and yes questioning orders/procedure a person loses effectiveness in any organization because TIME spent thinking either causes one to lose an opportunity and slows things down. 'Thinking' is what 'management' is for in most organizations. Soldiers are just to supposed to act/follow orders. This is why actors follow a script, athletes a play and most employees set policies and procedures. That being said sometimes thinking before one jumps is what saves you, especially spies out on their own with little support. They have to think on their own more than a soldier in an army. This will be E's undoing. This year alone she used multiple sloppy killings which not only increases chances of being discovered/leaving evidence she also stands a chance of getting injured/ killed herself not walking away or approaching the mission differently. Another example-plan to kidnap CIA guy's daughter for leverage and intel-like that wouldn't raise flags? E is loyal to the bone but blind faith has also lead more than one to their demise.
  20. My ending is quite simple. Justice for at least one of P & Es murder victims. That means their pictures are plastered all over the news as murderers, not spies, assassins etc. Just cold blooded killers. They need to tried and penalized as killers. They need to profiled and pontificated upon as serial killers or Donohue or Geraldo. Maybe even a mention on Morton Downey.
  21. My thing with all of the innocent people killed and/or missing this would've raised suspicion. They were dropping bodies in season one after they had already been here for almost 2 decades. Think about the bodies they dropped prior. It's a lot of seemingly random killings and missing persons. I can't believe somebody's family, friend or even co workers wouldn't have gone to a tv news show or news paper begging the public for help. That being said how would E or P react if a family member popped up on/in the news with a picture of their loved one/murder victim of the Jennings. I'd love them to be able to tie at least one of those murders to E. If she gets caught that should be part of her 'deal' along with intel the names and locations of all the bodies dropped. But how would E react years later and they're described as ruthless killers, not assassins or spies?
  22. My two cents. The actress who played Kate basically said is was too much for her. Being a cop show does mean there will be physical acting and probably be required to at least look fit in clothes. The actress who played Jenny had at least one bout with cancer so I can see her tiring. The actresses who played Ziva and Abby probably got tired of routine and wanted to do other things before they were totally type cast as a cop show actor as much as anything. Ironically Weatherly left a year after a dui. I think he also had a contract dispute a few years earlier but he too didn't want to type cast. People leave jobs or assignments everyday in the real working world. I never hold it against someone for trying different things, applying for promotions and transfers which many frown on in the work place. Actors are like most people, most wind up working for pay, not love of the job. They might say it or think it but most work to live, not live to work.
  23. Dr Austin is saving the show. Want to be Nancy Drew fired nurse added some chapters to the book -Stupid things people do in a horror movie. And the chatty patty nurse walking into the 'AWAKE' surgery-dumb butt and right to be called out. Is stalker guy by some chance working for the Dr nurse nic went to see, maybe to see if she is legit?
  24. No more Divya? Call Dr Hank. Another show Jennifer Esposito will disappear from? Don't talk about Dr Rodney Mckay show us. Um, shouldn't have Jane used a pressure bandage rather than a tourniquet? It's just a flesh a wound-she should have said she didn't have time to bleed.
  25. I like the new Dr Austin character. He was over the top and but put in his place. They are not trying to ignore the fact that he is not a people person/hr nightmare but a good surgeon. At the end of the show it was mentioned that he had numerous jobs over the last few years when Bell offered him one. He's a good character and issues to bring into the show. He's also Dr House-ish. But amateur sleuth rurse Nancy Drew want to be seems to be writing a chapter in the book "Stupid Things People Do In A Horror Movie". At first that story line had some potential I thought it would amount to nothing more than billing fraud and Doctor ethic codes violation but now were into mob doctor(wait a minute wasn't that a cancelled show several years ago) complete with henchmen. Definitely not Emily Thorn. I'm not quite sure why the energy drinks caused a suicide attempt, I can see the damaged heart. But to show the pressures of residency I guess that was it. They are constantly trying to show the trials and tribulations of American medicine. More Dr Austin
