  1. Disclosure-Show/series interloper here. Wanted to see how it all ends. Watched as much in syndication as first run. Missed this entire season other than channel surfing minus this final epi. I watched last year but just was not drawn to this season. There were interesting characters and potential without the body count. Rosen makes the entire series/survives his run as AG and he gets smothered by a pillow by a known criminal? How Jake convinced or transformed Cyrus into a physical killer was one of the more fitting things/scenes. I was always amazed how fast everyone talked squeezing in as many words as possible-they definitely got their say. But I realized in a show about politics they were making speeches(just like real politicians do at every opportunity) Even personal arguments they would give speeches. Was that on purpose or simply trying make sure the audience knew where a character was coming from(minus the political commentary)? Other than Jake who was basically a soldier there was little or no justice. Papa Pope gets off and Olivia winds up dinning with him after all those lectures and speeches? Not sad to see this one go although there are enough surviving characters I guess we could see a revival or put them on other shows.
  2. People seemed angry this epi and strangely 'honest'. Also seemed contrived or they filmed the show hung over after a big party or something. The chemo clinic dr is now seeking cover. Bell although an SOB also seems like a pragmatist and might realize the chemo doc will have to be dumped.
  3. I don't care how good one's disguises are. Eating pizza near her employer is extremely risky. If someone had accidentally bumped into her or spilled something, those events alone could triggered a glance from her employer/negotiator-they draw attention even if momentary. And another body, from a defense contractor no less and friend in security who won't miss him apparently. The seeds laid for the commie family's financial troubles in a capitalist society. Wouldn't that be irony. Instead of bullets bills and bankruptcy could be their downfall.
  4. Perhaps this is the first time Rittenhouse killed her(including going back in time to do it) after seeing how important she was to Wyatt. A sudden loss makes Wyatt in effective.
  5. Besides the time travel paradoxes we have one of my favorities-fight scenes played out in high heeled shoes boots with women matching strength with men(women can fight but...) I thought Emma was scientist or historian, not master assassin. Also how did Emma know to go to the party or did she follow or trace them with a cell phone or something. Perhaps show Rittenhouse's tech support team in action as well.
  6. I'm not sure but didn't E shoot a guard a second or third time on the ground?
  7. It's seems like P & E used an/one apprentice on missions now, the last year we see a team. All hands on deck for the negotiations?
  8. The agency was probably set up as legit decades ago but the last thing one wants is their spies in court even if for a bankruptcy hearing. My guess if it does tank they would be advised to close up shop as quietly as possible. Bring's a point though. How legit would they have tried to set it up in the 60s or 70s. Did they buy the property with cash? Apparently P & Es paper trail was good enough to get a loan.
  9. Just as last year there seems to be a lot of set up this year which at least is moving faster. Philips money troubles could go several ways steering him away from capitalism and back to communism or he'll go all in since he's already committed crimes a con, bank robbery, heist etc wouldn't be beyond his skills or morals. Many have pointed out the centre would never let their cover/travel agency go bankrupt but this is late in the Cold War where the west out spent Russia into peace, they had serious money economic troubles by the end. If anything he might be moved and the travel agency would be a semi legit resume entry. What could happen is that Henry, coaches or teachers could file/help Henry apply for financial aide which could blow P & Es cover if somethings can't be verified. That might be just a side issue though. When Stan was driving around he was being followed which is setting up the discovery of the safe house and probable hit on the defector. Since both FBI and KGB seem to short on resources this will probably be a sloppy job. Speaking of which how many dead bodies have to show up at defense contractors before alarm bells are rung?
  10. Who is going to defect, flip or switch sides are the big questions because it's not just the US v USSR it's multiple factions. I'm not so much hung up on who dies if anyone.
  11. I remember them. I had a job that put us on the road and if you were issued one or given the vehicle with one in it you had better bring/get it back by day's end. You would think they issued you a bar of gold to carry around. I remember a lot of dropped calls as well. Before you knew it beepers and battery powered mobile phones became cheap enough for large deployments and public. One of things is that along with new office having a car phone back then would be status is many circles. A capitalist tool. Philip is dressing and acting like a banker or something. I don't think Philip is necessarily retired. Maybe the center has him working in different social circles for something else. Or Philip used trade craft to get money for his/their life.
  12. Will the drawing from the wife of the negotiator of Elizabeth sleeping wind up in an investigation from a raid, show up in a flea market or was it symbolism just to reinforce Elizabeth is tired.
  13. I can see trying to get close enough to keep the distance optimum for a listening device even on their person but not with a slow following car even in big city traffic.
  14. I think his father got him status and job. Apparently he still has enough not to be considered a traitor.
  15. Somebody's got to live to make a cameo or do a crossover in Snowfall.
  16. Philip and Oleg agents out of retirement on a 'special' assignment sort of cliche. Stan about to be pulled back into the game. What would be a final season with a murder from everyone's favorite sociopath. Apparently a conflicted one. Although a sloppy murder probably much closer to how one with a knife killing would go. (Did she leave the knife in his neck I forget?) First generation car/mobile phone and line dancing-eeek, the 80s. Some are wondering who will live and die. I'm wondering who will flip and/or defect
  17. So the marshal is on a Reddington task force or something? Marshals are those who handle witness protection. Hmmm is that how he got sucked into Red's world with a criminal associate testifying or providing information? Could explain what Red wants to do with the Alibi Killer. He could fake his death or that of someone else but who. Was the suitcase somekind of leverage for the marshal?
  18. As pointed out it this has a lot of cost v care issues. Most other medical shows have always had the arrogant doctor in someway as did they the doctor who is at the end of their surgical career. Most other shows have touched on the cost issues but this one really goes at it directly. In some respects nurse nic reminds of the anthony edwards character on ER along with a touch of Wilson from House. This also doesn't seem to be about diagnosis as it is getting the care or treatment. The drama isn't in what is the problem but how are they going to handle it.
  19. LOL, she won't be seen carrying a weapon that law enforcement uses on occasion but yet her character has murdered characters along with killing in self defense, covered up those and other crimes, lied, endangered/assaulted criminal informants by dragging/ threatening them in an era police brutality incidents, , enabled a criminal informant by ignoring a continuing criminal enterprise. The show where she is a primary character has also written, overlooked and ignored the criminal activity of other corrupt FBI agents where the ends justify the means. Won't carry an assault rifle again-lol, spare me the righteous indignation.
  20. Watching things like the kicked bag was like watching a Final Destination movie. Ironic in a hospital setting. So new docs fiance is a reporter working on a superfund/toxic waste dump near by hospital-the clinic by some chance? That's why the doc's treatment/chemo is so high? They're setting something up because the brought up medicare, dealing with them(Yes those 1800 are frustrating to say the least), her holding the records on site, the secrecy and the 'we should get paid'comment after surgery. I don't know what to think about the boasting after the surgery other than financial motivations for what they do.
  21. I was gonna say. I've been wondering/waiting for years when Wolfe would kill Stone off. Ben Stone/Michael Moriairty was the adult version of Jack McCoy. I remember seeing Moriarty left the show under a cloud in real time and researched years later in the day and age of the internet. And yes many of these characters/actors seem to leave under less than happy circumstances. Olivia/Marisa looked tired and needs to give up a young girl hair style because it's highlights a tired face. Snow-shot in December? If someone knows the L&O or lore it was fitting that a by the book DA(Stone) takes Barba's place. I'm not feeling it with the DA nor did I get it on L&O Chicago. If they were going to do an episode like this they should've shown Barba getting arrested, booked along with pretrial motions. That was a crime and he should've been treated like a criminal suspect. I'm surprise with some of the show's politics they didn't show a law enforcement official being treated like a criminal. And they did the samething on L&O LA making it seem like a person can practice law anywhere. They need a license in each state unless a federal prosecutor if not mistaken. Also it seems like Blue Bloods uses L&O actors alot but the tables were turned with the commissioners assistant playing a victim/poi. Ben Stone-rip. Here's an old article from the time of Moriarity 'left' the show and Waterson/McCoy took over. http://www.nytimes.com/1994/09/25/arts/a-new-face-at-law-and-order-any-objections.html
  22. I believe she was a contractor. I've seen that more than once. She might report their 5 days a week but her actual employer would be responsible for her background check. Also in the day and age of hospital mergers and health systems it's not uncommon for one hospital in that system to send employees to other hospitals/work locations. I saw that after an ER visit. Many of the nurses kept on asking where they keep things or how they do certain things. Also I give them credit for not having a happy ending with the alcoholic guy that broke his leg drinking in the bar at the end of the show-yes patients are frequently their own worst enemy. And it could be a peak into Conrad's future. It's a race between Conrad's doc/god complex and nurse nic's righteousness.
  23. When I saw the white room I thought they going all tech and scifi but it worked. The border scene was both long and short. I guess border post would be as much to prevent people coming in as much as they are leaving. The timing of this epi is uncanny with the Iranian protests over the last few weeks.
  24. Out of the blue is Burgess being groomed to be the next Hank. Are we simply seeing some Burgess backstory? Upton is the pleasant surprise of the season. She more than replaced Lindsay at this point.
  25. Was the screaming when the judge jumped the pedestrian reaction on the street after she went splat? The cleaner guy was pretty thorough and maticulous. I can't believe he wouldn't have a dead man's switch with information being sent to the police upon his death(which was unnecessarily cruel). Red needs Ressler in the FBI, it's to his benefit in more ways than one. Also didn't the cleaner guy keep a bodies in drums in storage somewhere? Also it's the better part of a year and team task force seems to operating as normal. Did Iram get his field training? Was Liz replaced? Maybe I missed some blacklist mumbo jumbo what did the terror attack in Toronto have to do with the cleaner again? Or the guy he arranged the suitcase swap for? I think Liz is getting ready to take over the family business. If she's able to successfully dispose of Navarro she's the new Red. Notice how he will be apparently 'disappeared' so even if Liz confesses there will be no body and he she still gets to play FBI agent-boooo
