Soviet Baby Boomers: An Oral History of Russia's Cold War Generation (Oxford Oral History Series by Donald J Releigh. It's available in English on Kindle. It follows two groups of students, via interviews, through childhood, School, adulthood and the collapse of the USSR. It's a bit dry but it's also pretty interesting.

I don't know, my experience in the UK at Christmas was that it was still pretty lush green.. Especially in the Cotswolds where i usually go. At least, it was green when not raining OMGosh, That who I saw sing Sweet Home Alabama on an awards show once.

Once again, My Soviet baby Boomers book comes in handy. They interviewed around 30 kids, some from a school in Moscow and the other from the "closed" city of Saratov. And I must once again reiterate that these were kids who were a bit better off, but most of them took English classes from childhood. On graduation night the kids in Saratov sang 16 Tons in English. According to other academic sources I've read, in the 1960's kids spent, from middle school on 4 hours a week on foreign language. English and French were the most popular. English and French literature were also commonly taught, in those languages. Leningrad actually had 26 English Language schools in 1987

I thought that it did look metal or concrete, which does change the rate of decomp I had to read a book called Soviet Baby Boomers for a recent cold war class. These were upper class kids but they went to Yugoslavia on vacation frequently

The thing about Aortic Dissection, and I realize they threw a wrench in this with Michael being shot, is that there is NO warning. You could be like Rafael, super healthy and cut one day and have a dissection the next. One isn't usually frail or sickly then has a dissection. My husband was healthy and normal with no physical signs whatsoever and them bam, one day at 40...dissection. They also can happen to women while giving birth. And they are also often caused by a defect, a bicuspid aortic valve, which you wouldn't know you had until you looked at it. We had our son's aorta checked because of his father's dissection. Luckily our sons aorta is normal.

Aortic DIssection. My husband survived one 10 years ago. It also killed John Ritter and Alan Thicke. Only about 10% survive a Type A

I get that they probably hate to use the word "sex", but that is what it is.

Sex is biological , gender is not. The baby's sex is male

I have a lot of American friends who now live in the UK. Almost all of them , after a certain number of years have started to gain a slight accent. I think it sometime just happens that way. I also have a friend from Norway and his girlfriend was from Scotland. He went to Scotland a lot for 20 years or so, and so his English accent is somewhat Scottish, which throws me -

Thank you. It has really been bothering me to think of who she looked like -
I'm guessing that they were very new to London. I spend a lot of time staying in Putney, right next to Fulham and I got through it a lot. The bus system is extensive and they are on practically every block in Fulham.. And they are cheaper than the metro. None of those homes would have had that long of a commute to Hyde Park. Honestly, most Londoners are pretty used to a 45 minute to an hour commute. My friend commutes daily from Putney to his job at the BBC in White City. It's just part of life in London. I know exactly were the cheaper place was and they would have had to do a bus to the tube. No different than most Londoners daily commute. Fulham is a great great area, but it's one of the more expensive ones.

I haven't been to a Catholic church in years but I was raised a strict catholic in New England. I never saw a church with a seerate place for babies/kids. Everyone went to mass together.

I made cranberry orange relish yesterday. Today I pre prepped the yams in orange cups. I put my turkey into brine and made up the stuffing tonight to put in the turkey tomorrow. Mashed potatoes go in the crock pot first thing in the morning. I will cook the turkey/gravy tomorrow, but much of the work for the dinner is done.

My mother told me my father died when I was two. When I was 13 I found her will which said that I should never be allowed to see him. I never told my mother that I knew that he wasn't dead. She eventually told me that he didn't really die when I was 2. She told me she actually divorced him right after I was born. She only told me a few years ago that he was beaten to death in a bar in 1980 when I was . She lied to protect me. She was wrong and I resent it. But the good she did outweighs the bad. Randall will probably realize this eventually but never quite get over the lies

I'm sorry, I'm trying to stop laughing at the idea of AHS with an actual fluid storyline.
