  1. He shouldnt, but he will and has. As an Aortic dissection survivor since 2007 there is a lot that my husband should not do, but does. Hes had afib since the dissection. Hes continued to drink socially since then. Im a 28 year survivor of AIDS and I sometimes choose to do things I probably shouldnt. Eddie knows the risks. I know the risks. My husband knows the risk. Sick people make choices. They have agency. They dont always do what they should. Eddie is early on and is learning. Ediie may die younger than he should. My husband likely will. Im lucky as hell to be alive. and shockingly healthy at 48. Ill still likely die young, so i tread the line between watching my health and still living a full life. Eddie is trying to find that line for himself. i give him a lot of leeway. Not to discount AFIB as a minor issue. Its not, but having survived AIDS and Aortic Dissection, AFIb is small potatoes for us On a totally unrelated topic, I dont golf, but i was horrified by their behavior on that Golf course. Do they look at the footage with any shame?
  2. My husband is in actual afib and has been for a few weeks, like Eddie. Hes on meds but still drinks sometimes. Hes not going to stop either. His life is perfectly normal and nothing has really changed. Hes gettting a cardiac catheterization Thursday and will get cardioversion some time this fall after we ge back from Europe. I dont understand refusing the meds in this situation. Its the main reason my husbands life is pretty normal. You have to find some sort of middle ground in situations like this and I dont think Eddie is there yet.
  3. Mary Bell, an 11 year old girl in England, murdered two little boys. It was a horrific case. She strangled them. the first murder was comitted alone. The second was with a friend. Of course killing little boys is much easier than teen girls. Mary Bell also had a horrific childhood. She did many years in institutions and was later relased and never recommited any crimes. Its a fascinating case for anyone to google. Usually young girls who murder have experienced horrific sexual abuse.
  4. Most italians do. Not sure about Dutch. The first time i ordered pizza in italy the pizza came out uncut. Its usually personal sized. I looked around and everyone was eating it from the outiside in, with a fork and knife, so i followed their lead.
  5. This is making me hop my FabFitFun box gets here quick. Whenever it does im going to make a bad video for Y’all
  6. I wasnt quite sure where to post this. Last night on Sasha Baron Cohen's WHo Is America, he tricked Gretchen and Slade and it was awesome.
  7. Yeah, I actually like the duvet cover practice. Once i understood the duvet thing i realIed why there werent 2 sheets. Are you in the UK?
  8. In a lot of other countries people dont use top sheets much. that surprised me my first time in Europe
  9. I just dont understand the way these people dress to meet “ the love of their lives” for the first time.
  10. I think there is a button under Melissa’s chin to turn her off and on.
  11. Does anyone know when they put the new episode on demand? Is it midnight tonight?
  12. There is an update from May, that said the Eddie is no longer in Afib. I hope thats true. My husband, with a history of Aprtic disection , is currently in Afib. hes had a bunch of tests and they put him on blood thinners and will do carioverion in a month. I hope this doesnt go on for 6 months like eddie
  13. So apparently this filmed the transition from part one to 2 in one continuous shot, with wardrobe actually changing Alisons clothes while she stood at the sink. i know someone from the show tweted something about a it a coule of day before. Great article with info here. https://variety.com/2018/tv/news/the-affair-alisons-death-ramon-rodriguez-1202903458/#respond
  14. I agree that despite the name Alision popping up when she answers the door The transition between part 1 and 2 occured by the sink. Her clothes changed.
  15. Its erattic weather andthe fact that the US gov cant get to you if you have problems there. They get the same rating as much of Europe..a 2
  16. Ive also read that part of the reason a well dressed person is more likely to get bumped is because they want you to blend in with the rest of the people in first or business class. My flight to london next months gets to Gatwick at 5.30 am. I will change clothes, brush my teeth and clean il when i get there. And im not meeting the love of my life.
  17. I think JimBob and Michelle are keeping Jana single so that she cane take care of them and the house, when they are old
  18. I noticed that Angela at least put her hair up and changed her shirt, At least, I think she did.
  19. Yes, I think I read that too. I do understand that it can seem strange when you are not used to hearing it, but there are legitimate reasons why it exists . Angela's english is not any legitimate dialect. Its just bad English. Another interesting thing I heard in a some classes was that the difference between a dialect and a language is that a language has an Army. The other things that tend to bother people about AAVE(ebonics) is the use of double negatives. Many languages actually use double negatives. They are common in some African langauges as an example.
