I thought the same thing. Not idea but possible.

Just a few observations: I loved Clare's outfit with the thigh high boots. She was really rocking it. I couldn't believe that Laura from the UK was only 29. She looked so much older to me. Clare looks much better than her at 36. I rewatched this because I missed the first hour last night and I noticed that if you paid attention there were a few that you could tell who they voted off. Remember when Josiah had Ally tell him who had told her they thought he wasn't there for the right reasons? She told him Laura and Clare. He was wearing a brown vest and jacket. They showed that same vest and jacket drop Clare's name in the box. Also Luke's clothing gave him away. He put Laura's name in the box. There's no way any of these people had any way of knowing any others intentions. They voted off who they liked the least or who production told them to. That was obvious.

Tia and Raven are friends outside of the show. I'm assuming Raven encouraged her to go on the show. After she had a pretty good run I think Tia was eager to try her hand. I think a lot of people felt (myself included) that she might go far because of her connection with Raven. Mostly because the show loves to exploit the southern stereotypes IMO.

I don't hate Ashley I but she is starting to wear thin. Yes she tries way too hard. She doesn't have the best fashion sense. Her lacy, lingerie jumpsuit thingy was awful. For someone who likes to tout her virgin status she sure dresses anything but virginal. She places too much importance on and wears too much makeup. She's outdoors in a competition and brings a compact with her. Really? She's a naturally beautiful woman she doesn't need all that heavy makeup. She needs to tone it way down. And yes @chocolatine Kevin would be stupid to even get involved with her. Makes me wonder if he is aware of her reputation. Has he not watched her stints on this franchise? She states she's going to lose her virginity with him. Can you imagine how much more intense her obsession with him would be if that happened? He would have to enter the Bachelor equivalent of the witness protection program. And @JudyObscure I agree that it looks like Clare might mess this one up too. I like Benoit and he seems to genuinely like her. Don't screw this up Clare!

Yeah Tia really did a 360 in this episode for me. She pretty much killed any goodwill I had towards her. With throwing Bekah under the bus it not only was a mean girl move but a desperate one as well. How confident can one be when they will never know if they were picked on their own merits or because they painted the competition in a bad light? I think it backfired though. She was his last choice. It felt more like she was being picked to just fill up the slot. He was obviously more into the others. Of course everyone has their opinions but to me she is not as pretty as JoJo. I think her hair has people drawing comparisons to Andi and JoJo but to me she doesn't look like them in the face at all. Honestly I don't think she's that pretty. Her nose is too sharp and pointed. She barely has any lips and she needs more body in her hair. And the way she brings it all to the front looks awful when they show her from the back. Shallow I know but that's JMO.

Totally agree. That was so unnecessary. I liked Tia before but now not so much. If the lead can't figure these things out for themselves than the tattler don't need them, right? If she doesn't win I really hope they don't make her the B'ette. Exactly. Those were definitely tears. I don't think they would have made it but I think they had a genuine fondness for each other. Even Arie shed a tear or two. Of the four left I wouldn't mind seeing Kendall as the B'ette and to a lesser degree Becca. But I would really love to see Jacqueline get it. I know it's not very feasible with her having a lot of school ahead (and she didn't finish in the top 4) but I think she's stunning and intelligent. Heck she proved that by eliminating herself tonight. Just no Tia or Lauren please.

The show seems to be stretching credibility a lot with Ernst. I think it's been mentioned before but why does he always seem to be around? Always on vacation with them. First France and now Scotland. Does he not have a home and duties to attend to? Yes he's nice to look at and is company to Albert but this is not very factual. How many times are they going to have Victoria say, "Ernst what a nice surprise"?

Loved this episode as well. Especially after the somber one last week. Bet Victoria and Albert would have much rather joined the Scottish dances than have to sit through that tedious poem reciting. The dancing looked fun and yes even though the Highland guy was hot I agree with the poster that prefers Skerritt with Franketelli. I like him much better after his show of charity and compassion to Cleary last week. Besides Highland hottie looked too young for Skerritt to me.

He was on Kaitlyn's season. Google Chris Strandburg aka "cupcake". You can find videos on YouTube as well. Then you'll see what I'm talking about. He was famous for riding up on night one in a motorized cupcake hence the nickname. And crying on the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland when Kaitlyn dumped him.

I wondered as much. But she might have time if she did it right now. I suppose it's all a mute point anyway as it obviously doesn't bother her and that's what's important. I wonder if there have been any comments to that effect on social media though as I don't do Twitter and such. I know producers follow that closely. And good for you Bugs. I hope that worked out good for you.

I loved Cupcake!! Now he would have made a good Bachelor. Show really messed up when they picked Ben over him. Of course he has proven himself to be a class act since that season so it was probably best for him that they didn't. But I would have loved to see him on my TV screen as the Bach. He has a killer body. Not to mention the fact he was/is accomplished and smart.

Ok so I couldn't stand anymore of this dull season without being spoiled and all I can say is wow...just unbelievably wow. Where do I even begin? First off I will be so glad when this screwed up dumbass Arie season is over. What a waste in casting him. Of course him and Lauren are perfect together. Both are dull, dim and about as exciting as watching paint dry but I didn't want to see that on my TV. Again what a waste. I had commented in the episode thread about the never seen before uniqueness of showing the Lauren conversation after the final RC and hoped we saw more of this in future seasons. Now I see why they did that. But just blah. Blah on Lauren as the F1. Blah on Arie and blah on this season. And regarding Tia as the next B'ette I think from a intellectual and personality standpoint she would be OK. Heck she couldn't be any worse and probably better than some have been but I agree that from a totally shallow standpoint her nose (for me) would be so distracting. Also @ByTor and @Bugs Meany, I was one of the posters discussing if she had had a nose job in a earlier episode thread. Someone had commented that it looked like she had a bad one and I said if that was a nose job I would be sueing a surgeon if I were Tia and I certainly wouldn't be going on national TV. Nah unfortunately she was born with that. Of course as someone suggested if she had time and did have work done (if she were chosen) before her season there would be thousands who would judge her for having had work done but I would be applauding her for doing something she felt was right for her and to make her feel pretty and more self confident. Of course many really screw up majorly when they have these procedures done as they don't need them but I feel this could only improve her looks if she gets a good surgeon.

I liked that they showed the conversation Lauren was having with the producer at the end. I had asked in a earlier post if she was supposed to be the next villain because it was obvious some of the other women could hear what she was saying and it didn't look like it was going over to good. The looks on their faces were like, "can you believe she's complaining after being in Paris and then just being told she's going to Tuscany?!?!" And rightly so. I wish the show would do this more often. At least it was a little something new. This show needs to shake it up a little anyway. Besides the fact that Arie is a dullard I think that's one reason so many are getting bored (or it is for me anyway). Same old, same old with different faces. It doesn't have to be anything drastic but even small changes can make you take notice. I know I was, "wait, what I've never seen them show a contestant having a conversation after the final rose". I've missed some seasons so it may have been done before but that was new to me.

I thought Krystal's 2 on 1 abandonment was tame compared to most. How bad can it be too be left in Paris with a beautiful view? It was hard for me to not be excited for Bekah getting the Moulin Rouge date rose. She was so genuinely excited. And the looks on the other women's faces? Couldn't they have been just a little happy for her. I mean I doubt seriously any of them really wanted to get on that stage. (Except maybe Seinne). At least dumb Arie realizes Jacqueline is to good for him but I thought for a second he was going to send her home. She's beautiful and smart but I don't see her lasting much longer. He has stronger connections with others and he's just dumb like that. Did anyone else notice the Kaitlyn/Shawn ad during commercial break? Those two have really surprised me with how long they have been together. They deserve credit for beating the odds and I thought the ad was really funny. So is Lauren going to be the new villain now that Krystal's gone? Who was she talking to there at the end? A producer? She is such a dull sourpuss. Really hope she doesn't make it until the end.

Yes Jenna is very lovely and to me her behaviour brings to mind the phrase "hooker with the heart of gold". She seems to be hyper which could account for some of her OTT behaviour. Well that and the drinking. But at the same time she seems to be very sweet and well meaning. Not sure if she realizes that her attempts at seducing Arie or being funny are not translating very well on national TV. Lauren B comes across to me as very generic, boring, slightly dim (what's your favorite color..really?) and interchangeable with hundreds of blondes who have appeared on this show.

Yes it was Jenna. She's the one I specified a few episodes back who's behaviour was my definition of behaving, "trashy". And yes she does seem to perpetually be drunk. ETA: @JenE4 I know you identify Jenna by her flailing arms but I mostly remember her drunkingly straddling Arie on a couch. I think it was on the demolition derby episode as Seinne was the winner and we saw Arie's first in depth discussion with her. I remember Jenna's behaviour being in sharp contrast to the accomplished and lovely Seinne. Jenna's behaviour, to me, was OTT even for Bachelor standards.

Yes and can't remember his name but they had a pop/contemporary singer on this season as well. Early on I believe on the Becca date? But yeah it does seem to usually be second rate country acts. ETA: Forgot to add the guy was a never heard of second rate act also but hey at least he wasn't country.

Don't forget the moonshine Arie drug out a few episodes back. This show does seem to love stereotyping people from the south. Even Raven, (who admittingly seemed more comfortable with it) was more accomplished than a lot of these women, ( social media influencer etc.., which is what they have listed as Jenna's job) with owning her own business. I really don't know why I expect more from this show at this point but this isn't the dark ages. As @dleighg pointed out there are cities in Arkansas and they even have modern conveniences like cars, phones and computers. Yeah sarcasm intended.

I agree. It's almost uncanny how much she looks like her. Give it time. Someone still could in the future. With this show I wouldn't be surprised. I was impressed with Tia's accomplishments as well. I know it's been said before but why do these women feel they need to come on this show?!?!

It was obvious from Arie's face that he didn't want to give Krystal that rose. He doesn't have a good poker face. Whatever he's thinking is written all over his face be it anger, contempt, boredom...lol. Bet the producers hate that he's not selling it as well as others have. The bowling ball lick..I asked my daughter ( because I only got a glance at it) "did he just lick that ball!!" That's just all kinds of nasty. I agree with others that Tia's probably not for Arie. She said faith was important to her but she then said easily she could live with someone where it wasn't for them. I think she would regret that later. I did think she looked very pretty on her date though. I noticed her hair looked fuller and had more body than usual. It was pretty framing her face.

I see your point but then again you can say there are many people in this world who have similar chins but that alone doesn't make them look alike to me. There are more differences than there are similarities in my opinion. And they are not from the same town. Raven is from Hoxie and Tia's from Weiner.

I think Seinne would be great too but I don't see them doing two b'ettes of color back too back. Bekah would be fun to watch just to see how she would handle it but it would be harder than usual to take any of this serious knowing that at 22 she's not looking for a husband and marriage. I can see somewhat where you get the Andi resemblance with Tia but I'm mystified why so many think she looks so much like Raven. Their facial structures and features are completely different. Their hair colors not the same. The only thing similar to me is their accents.

I have known people personally with noses like this so yes unfortunately you can be born with one. I guess that's why I didn't think it was a botched job done by a surgeon. I mean I suppose it could be but then you have to consider that if she thought it were botched then why would she feel comfortable going on national TV? If she was born with it then she may not feel uncomfortable with it. I actually feel so shallow and bad for even dwelling on it but it does bug me when I see her. I think she could be so much prettier if she had her nose done. It doesn't seem to bother her though which is what matters. If it were me it would bother me to no end. I seriously would be saving my money to get it corrected.

See I saw this completely different. I thought he seemed much more into the conversation than he had with previous women. He seemed more engaged to me.I think he has a resting face that comes across as maybe bored or checked out when in reality he's just listening. Funny how people can see the same thing and get different takes from it. On a separate note I've noticed that PTV has not had any recaps this season. They had went to podcasts for a couple of seasons but I haven't noticed anything at all so far unless I've missed it. Has anyone else noticed this or know why? I used to love their written recaps. They were always hilarious.
