  1. Cruise ships have to have a major dry dock every 5 years for maintenance and making sure they are sound, etc. Some of the captains are good about investing in their boats, like the guys on the Northwestern, and I'd venture to say Bill, but others just seem to run them until shit literally falls apart. There's no way the hull should be literally rusting away if they are checking the thickness of it yearly, which seems like a reasonable thing to do when it's the ONLY thing keeping you alive. And considering you don't know if you'll encounter ice or not, you're dependent on the hull remaining intact to keep the boat afloat. If the hull is compromised to begin with, grazing some ice could puncture it, which would be bad.
  2. Croque Monsieur is ham and cheese that is toasted/grilled with a bechamel sauce. Top it with a runny fried egg and you have a Croque Madame. A Monte Cristo is generally a bigger sandwich, I think, and then it's battered and fried. Plus it's served with jam and powdered sugar (as you mentioned).
  3. All I can find is that a rep from the US Marshal Service is saying it isn't really an arrest, but he was taken back into custody. He doesn't have a new charge but the court issued an order to bring him in because he was in trouble for breaking a technical condition of his release. He's only been out for a couple of days, so that's pretty quick to break a condition/rule already.
  4. I honestly never thought that something would make Kim Z's "Google Me" song sound good, but, Congrats Lu! You did it!
  5. I can see making a bit of a comparison, but I don't know that it's totally a fair thing to do. First, I 100% think what Brandi did to Adrienne was bullshit and wrong. That shouldn't have happened and Brandi is a total asshole for doing it. To me, use of a surrogate isn't a "secret" that you get to out or trash someone else for keeping quiet, it should just be off limits, as it's no one else's business. I do think that LVP's situation in not coming is different than Adrienne's, though. She has been open about everything, she hasn't hidden things, the other women simply decided that LVP is lying and she is wrong and they will only hear her side IF she confesses to what they have decided is true. If she wants to tell them her side and it is anything other than what they have pre-determined to be the case, then they tell her she is lying. That's not cool. I can't say that I blame her for not particularly wanting to go through that. I also think the Adrienne/LVP situation is further flawed because of the fact that Adrienne was so adamant that LVP was manipulating things and selling stories, a thing that persists to this day. Only it turned out that the stories were coming from within Adrienne's camp. Something you haven't heard her acknowledge now. You'd think that perhaps she'd speak out in LVP's defense, right? Like, listen, I don't know what happened here, and I don't even necessarily care for LVP, but I know she does love dogs and she's serious about that. We had issues a long time ago and I said she sold stories, but it turned out that it wasn't her, so I don't think people should use that as proof that she is now.
  6. In fairness, they were in Miami. There is only so much you can do with some types of hair there. I can have a blow out, follow it with a flat iron and a gallon of any product you want. Take one step outside and I turn into a chia pet. I don't know that Lu has composure in fights because she has no empathy. I don't honestly think she remains calm, she gets very haughty and self righteous and tends to be more indignant than anything. Generally, instead of arguing with people, she's more in disbelief that anyone has a problem with her, so she doesn't end up getting upset or arguing back, it ends up being "How dare you even think I did something?" or "Look at you! How can you say anything about ME?" She comes across as if she's completely unbothered and calm, but it's more of an indignant outrage that anyone even questions her than engaging in a situation. She's not just using it to get free stuff, she's using it to get paid. She's done interviews in People, she's using it as her storyline this year. It wouldn't surprise me to find out that she's selling stories about it to ROL. Not the same as a Rolex, of course, but you might want to take a peek at Michael Kors watches. They are often fairly substantially sized and would potentially be a substitute. I have to disagree with this. She was deliberately nasty to Alex (Even Louis Vuitton makes mistakes!). She was downright dismissive in the first season about "when you introduce me to, you know, THE HELP, it's MRS DeLesseps" because people were beneath her station. She also point blank told a girl, who said she wanted to model "Well, you have plenty of time to lose weight" And then she stole from her own kids. Sonja shoved them into her purse. But, but, Meghan is John McCain's DAUGHTER!
  7. Plus those lists also show Vicki Gunnvalson being worth $7M and we know from her divorce settlement with Donn that she's not worth anywhere near that despite owning Coto Insurance. And the same is true of Shannon Beador. No way she and David are worth $20M after the back and forth they had with their divorce settlement. Those lists simply aren't reliable.
  8. She likes the wallets in their pockets? How to put this delicately? Billy was on a bus with a future candidate for a very high profile public office in the US. That future candidate was requesting tic tacs because he didn't know if he would be able to refrain from kissing the female co-worker of Billy's that they would be meeting when they got off the bus. Said future candidate then expounded on how being famous allows you all sorts of privilege and . . . handholds? on women. Billy giggled and they exited the bus. Billy did not run any interference or do anything to try to ensure that there wasn't any untoward contact between said person and his coworker and people kind of thought that wasn't so great of him.
  9. She gave that spiel when they first discussed Amelia's eating disorder. I agree, it is uncomfortable to watch this at this point. I think much like a former addict can be a great rehab counselor, I could see someone who previously had an eating disorder being a good fit to counsel those who are suffering now. But I think the person has to be in a stable, recovery portion of their journey (not sure if that is the right term or not), and after watching the Hamlin dinner disaster, I don't think Amelia is in a recovery stage. I wish Harry and Rinna would keep her off of tv until she's at a stronger place, as she's obviously struggling and it can't be easy to have the cameras there while it's going on.
  10. Rinna was dressing up as Erika at Coachella. She was copying a specific outfit that EJ had worn to Coachella. Or, I guess that Erika had worn to Coachella AS EJ? Not really sure how to word it, but, the point I'm trying to make is that it wasn't Rinna trying to make up an outfit she thought EJ would wear, it was a copy of a look she had worn. I have grey sunglasses to wear on overcast days. I have dark ones to wear when it's sunny out. I wear my sunglasses until the sun is completely down, and sometimes I then switch to the grey ones to prevent the stupid oncoming headlights from glaring in my eyes when I'm driving. I'm almost never outside without sunglasses on unless it's dark.
  11. It's truly baffling to me that not one person in that group thought that was a bad idea. I mean, I know there aren't 3 brain cells to rub together between the sisters, but Mauricio and Rick couldn't say, yeah, let's not put that out there? They both run businesses (or, Mauricio worked for Rick at the time), that are dependent on their public image. They couldn't see how that would play to "the little people"? And seriously, talk about having no concept of your privilege. Am I the only person who watched Kathy's reality competition show back in the day? I want to say maybe it was on VH1? They had some craptastic shows in the mid-2000s. Anyway, she was running a competition to teach people how to be a high society person, essentially, an Apprentice for being the next Paris or Tinsley Mortimer. Only you got all these weird lessons like always leaving at least one bite of food on your plate and no actual access to society at the end. After watching that, I'm not really convinced Kathy would be a great addition to the show. This honestly sounds more like Kyle and her never ending "But you love me more, right?" "Lisa how come you don't give ME these kinds of chances?" "Why don't you ever have MY back Lisa?" than anything else. Bitch, who the fuck asked you to be their moral compass? Time for Kyle to go back to the hospital. Her eye is really wonky again!
  12. Erika has always had amazing skin. I'm totally jealous of it. I can't really judge whether or not Kyle had an eating disorder or not. It's possible she did. But, Kyle is 5'2" tall. My BFF is that height and when we were 17, she was lucky to top 95 lbs on a good day, as an athletic person. It doesn't seem like 99 lbs is that crazy low of a weight for a 17 year old girl who is 5'2". Here's the thing, if someone does something that involves me and then my friends ask me how I feel about it, I'll tell them. Generally that sort of question is like "Are you good with that? I would be pissed if someone did that to me" I can understand that, and I'd answer. If I'm good with it, I'd say something like "Yeah, I can see how it was annoying, but John is always kind of a dick, so I don't really get worked up by what he does" Or, perhaps, "Normally I would be upset, but I know that Sue had a rough week and didn't mean for it to come out the way it did, so it's fine" All good. After I've explained it, if you tell me how you wouldn't be able to let it go, that's cool, because you can have a different opinion, if you were in my shoes. Where it's not good, though, is to keep asking me to explain things like I'll somehow have a different reaction because you've told me how you (not you personally, just the generic person that doesn't understand that John is always a dick), would respond. Erika clearly did have something bothering her, but the thing that was bothering her wasn't Rinna, it was that Kyle and Teddi wouldn't stop. They didn't need to ferret anything out, they needed to let it drop. I like to live dangerously. Not only do I like a medium rare burger, I like to put a runny egg on top of it! France is amazing. I hate that they are ruining it. Teddi posted a video in response to her getting backlash for putting her feet on the table. It has her charming husband sitting with his feet IN SHOES propped up on their dining room table. I'm a casual person, I have no issues if you have your feet (shoeless) on my couch, my coffee table, etc. I have been known to sit on my counters. But don't you DARE put your shoes on my dining room table. That's just nasty!
  13. For as much as Bill has railed about Fox News and other pundits being "in the bubble" he's really put himself into his own bubble in the last few years. It's become more and more apparent as he's not been able to take any sort of nuanced stand on speech being free but not everyone being worthy of your platform. He shows it when he rails about how ridiculous it is that people fight for the rights of trans people to use whichever bathroom they feel the most comfortable in but then bitches about how narrow minded people are for not wanting to allow everyone to have free access to drugs if they want it, because that's what is important to HIM. He complains about the special snowflakes that children are today while championing the hippies who changed the world in the 60s. How are the social justice warriors any different? It's getting harder and harder to watch Bill for me. I used to be able to appreciate the stands he took that I disagreed with, because they at least came across as informed and not a petty, personal grievance. Now everything seems like he's just yelling at kids to get off his lawn and pissed because the world isn't the way it was when he was the hot new thing. He hasn't adapted, though, it's on him.
  14. Scaramucci is far from my favorite person, but I do agree that he's definitely not on the same level as Joe Gorga. I'm absolutely not trying to be political, so please don't take what I'm saying as any sort of political stance, I'm solely referencing a semi-current political happening because it relates to him. When Scaramucci was caught on tape with his vulgar tirade that got him fired, I do think he either didn't realize he was on the record or forgot he was. He is almost always able to be polite and friendly with people in interviews and I suspect that he didn't get to where he was in business by not being able to control himself. Do I think he probably can and does have another side? Sure, we all saw it in that tape, but, it seems to me that he most likely is well aware of the rules of behavior. Gorga, on the other hand, has always been a "this is who I am" kind of guy and then can't figure out why some people have an issue with it. That said, Scaramucci is totally a fame whore. I'm not sure how I'd feel about him on the cast. I agree that the staff would be there to make coffee for them, normally. But Tej has said that he was hired as a production assistant and isn't normal staff for the house, so I'm not sure of the rules in this case. Also, if you happen to watch RHOBH, Kyle was calling Château Ventoux to find out details for their upcoming trip on this past episode. I'm always curious to see more about the houses they stay in, so I googled and it specified that the butler was on duty from 10:30 am until 8:30 pm each day. So I kind of wonder if perhaps they are on their own for some of the meals? Like maybe they are hiring in a private chef for some meals and then they just have some prepared stuff (like the fruit that was laid out), for others? Bethenny seemed to have no issues making the eggs and it didn't seem like it was a surprise to her that she was going to cook.
  15. I think Rinna has disordered eating but perhaps not a full on eating disorder. In any case, that whole scene was uncomfortable and I don't think it's a great idea to be playing that out on tv. Amelia clearly needs treatment and I hope they get it for her and give her the time and privacy needed to get herself back to a healthy place. For all the money Kyle spends on random shit, how is this the hair solution she has arrived at? I really don't get it. I know she is clearly struggling with her hair and that it has to be a new thing for her, but she has money and access to people who KNOW what to do. Yet she's opting for strange "solutions" rather than testing stuff on video and in photos before going "live" with it on the show. It's totally obvious she's trying to cover something up. I don't think Camille will be in Sonja's position. Camille is a lot smarter than Sonja, she took Kelsey and got his ass cleaned up and off of drugs. She also was instrumental in helping him go from being broke when they met (due to his addictions), to being worth $60M at the time they split. She got $30M in the divorce and she's not likely to commit the fraud that Sonja did. What is that saying? If you encounter an asshole in the morning, they are an asshole. If you encounter another in the afternoon, maybe it's them. If you encounter them all day, then you're the asshole? I kind of think Teddi needs to consider that she's the asshole at this point. Janice Dickinson had some pretty negative experiences in her life so I'm not surprised that she has a stance like that. She's pretty out there, but that's a respectable stand to take. I don't know why anyone would expect Kyle to stick up for them, though. Friendship for Kyle is a one-way street. You get dumped on for not having her back enough and then she talks shit about you whenever she wants with whomever she wants and she tells you about it to your face "Because I'm your friend and I have to be honest!" Rinna and Harry were both stars, but weren't they primarily tv people? They have both worked steadily for a long time, but neither have had major hits where they would have raked in money. Harry's prime tv stuff was prior to the days of massive paydays on shows like Friends and Frasier and Rinna has always been a soap person. She had Melrose Place for a while and also the Soapnet talk show, but I can see how they were also using the stores to supplement their income. When I saw this scene all I could think was "All that money you spent on the new teeth and you didn't replace the fillings with composite?" Wouldn't it have been really awesome if they had all canceled their trip and stayed to do some relief work? I can't imagine that Bravo would have lost their shit if they'd postponed for that. Inviting Denise and Camille to stay with them, going shopping to help get supplies for people, etc. Every time I see her house I'm baffled by the desire to live there. I know that everyone has a tendency to kind of blow off the natural disasters that can happen in your area, I mean I lived for years in an area that was extremely prone to hurricanes and would get friends and family flipping out each year as storms came through and I'd shrug and be like, "eh, we're fine, I'm watching the weather channel" But that house and earthquakes? You can't predict those! One day you're just standing there making eggs, and then the ground moves and a house that's totally built on the ground can fall down! One that is only half built on the ground? That doesn't seem safe! I'm stuck on who has only 5 pieces of cheese in the house? It seemed like Harry specifically bought just 5 pieces. On any given day, I have like 5 KINDS of cheese. Let alone 5 pieces for cheeseburgers. I have gotten botox (for migraines), and it has always been done with me sitting in a chair or at the end of the exam table, completely upright. The dr stands directly in front of where he is injecting (if you get it for migraines you get like 32 shots all over your head). I do think that people need to be picky about who they have do the injections, as I know some people get it done at salons, which I would never do. Mine was done by a neurologist, but I'd also trust a dermatologist. There are a lot of people (and, sadly I could see Brandi potentially not going to an actual dr), who will go somewhere and have it done based on price rather than the experience/knowledge of the person who is doing it. This documentary was amazing! I would love this list!
  16. As I said, we don't know that Lu didn't yell. We only know that they didn't show her yelling. Also, I did watch the episode, and as you can read in the recap that I posted a link to, it clearly states what I saw, which is that ALL of the women sat around and discussed Lu, trash talking her. Part of that was her imperiousness when it came to getting the coffee that am. I just rewatched that segment and Tinsley didn't protest in the least when Bethenny was talking about the coffee thing. Ramona and Sonja both said that Lu was definitely in her own world. Dorinda said "Here's the thing I struggle with. One minute I feel bad for Luann and I treat her with this fragility and then when I do it she makes me feel less of a person so then I want to be angry with her." Then it goes into a talking head with Dorinda talking about how Lu is a narcissist. Then they bounce back and forth between Ramona talking to Lu and the rest of them inside talking about Lu. With Dorinda and Sonja agreeing that they don't think they can get through to Luann and that she doesn't want to see it and that she is surrounded by people who tell her what she wants to hear. So, yes, they absolutely all did talk about her.
  17. Except yes, see the link below: https://realityblurb.com/2019/06/06/real-housewives-of-new-york-recap-bethenny-calls-the-paramedics-for-a-drunken-sonja/ "The following morning, Luann worked out while the others lounged over breakfast in their pj’s and trash talked her in barely hushed tones. They’re still over Luann and her ‘Joan Crawford act,’ and they’ve all decided that she’s a narcissist of the highest order. But, as Luann explained to Ramona, the only one who bothered to say good morning, they’ve got her all wrong. Luann said they were simply “jealous of her success” (see, no narcissism there!) and they were horrible friends who would rather tear her down than build her up like girlfriends were supposed to do." It's also entirely possible that Lu DID yell and they opted not to show the footage. We've seen them out people quite a bit later on. Lu may get that footage slapped in her face if she tries to deny bellowing for coffee at the reunion. Not to mention what they did show (me, paraphrasing, because I'm too lazy to look up the exact quote) "Where is the coffee?! We're supposed to have help!" isn't exactly a nice statement. I could see muttering something like "No coffee? Huh, I would have thought someone would have started it. Oh well . . ." and then making it on my own. But she KNOWS she is micced and on camera.
  18. 2 per week until she is off probation. The problem with Lu isn't so much that she's better or worse than the others with drinking (although, I'd argue that perhaps she is), it's that she got caught, to an extent. Once she got hammered and made a scene in the hotel and then assaulted the cop, she pretty much invited the consequences. And she initially was avoiding consequences for the most part. All she had to do was take some tests, go to 2 meetings a week and do community service. This isn't a woman who has a demanding job, 2 kids at home that she has to figure out how to get up, dressed, to school, through homework and activities, fed, on top of all the court mandated stuff. Nah, Lu just had to fit that shit in around her shopping, lunching and cabaret. And the meetings are literally everywhere. But she still couldn't manage to do it. But she bought and paid for that piece. She asked him how much he wanted for it, he told her and she bought it. He could have said it wasn't for sale. The fact that Lu isn't able to not drink for the time that she's on probation is kind of a telling sign, though. Honestly, if someone told me that I could either not drink for one year or I could go to jail, there'd be absolutely NO problem at all. No question would I skip the booze. She's only talking about AA so much because that way it looks like she's going to all of the meetings she's required to go to. Except we all know by her recent court appearance that it isn't even close to true! Her skin has gotten WAY rough looking. She used to have gorgeous skin but in the last year or so it's gotten super coarse and she's gotten a rode hard put away wet look. I'm sure the years of smoking haven't helped, but it's a pretty drastic change. No, she didn't. Bethenny already had a spin-off deal in the works prior to meeting Jason. It was going to be about her dating, however she met Jason and got pregnant and engaged, so it changed focus and became Bethenny Ever After. She has said that she had some doubts, but felt caught up in the whole process, partly because there was a show, so she couldn't slow down the timeframe for the wedding, but she did not marry Jason to get a tv show. She already HAD the show. All of the women were talking about Lu screaming about the coffee. They were all talking about how she's demanding and nasty to the staff and how she's gotten overbearing and rude. Bethenny imitated her, but she wasn't the only one to mention or hear Lu.
  19. No, he wasn't. And he has a weird slurry accent each time he said California. But only when he said California. As I was watching Kail host the segment I was trying to figure out who had done the makeup for Kail and her cohost whats-her-face Christley. Why did they look like pumpkins? Could they not see that they are not that color normally? Like did they not notice the entire rest of their bodies being a different color than their faces? Caitlyn and Jade were normal colors, but not Kail and the cohost. They were oddly colored. That's because they are actually nice to him and they give a shit about him. Briana doesn't give a fuck if he's there or not. I liked that Roxanne called her out (this might have been in the unseen footage, I watched them back to back), for blowing off the guys and just relying on her mother and sister to raise her kids. You can't keep hiking your skirt up in a club bathroom and getting knocked up by some rando, then popping the kid out, deciding not to "put them on child support" because you don't want to deal with them, and then make other people help you with your kids because "it's TOO hard!!!!"
  20. Exactly. This is the same old pattern with Barb and the reason I can't with her. Of course you don't want to make a scene with Ensley there (although we have tons and tons of them with her and Jenelle screaming at each other while holding Jace), but, Barb doesn't prevent stuff. Why go outside alone with Ensley when Jenelle is there? Why not head back inside and get an officer if Jenelle starts to approach you? Why not dial 911 and report her?
  21. I think it was last season that Sonja had just come back from Costa Rica and was claiming that she had detoxed from the anti-depressants that had caused her to gain weight. She also wasn't drinking much, which was a much better look for her. Andy is still the executive producer (I think that's his title), of the Ho Shows, but I don't think he's nearly as hands on puppet master as people think he is. I think he has some say in casting and stuff, but the network likely has more say and he is basically just talent to Bravo at this point with WWHL, and someone who sells them shows. Bethenny tends to wear big floppy hats at the beach, so you can usually shove those in a suitcase without a problem. I have some big straw ones that I take and I can crush them, pack them, and they pop back into shape with no issue. They only thing they can't handle is getting wet, which sucks if you are out and it rains. So I also have one semi-ugly gardening style floppy hat that I can wear if I don't want to have to think about the weather. I can roll it up, shove it in anything and it just pops back out nicely. It isn't the most flattering thing ever, but it's definitely easy to pack.
  22. I truthfully try to block the whole pirate thing out of my mind because it was just gross, but, yes she did go after him after Lu. I don't think he's in the same category as Tom or Harry, though, since he literally was some rando that they picked up in a strange place. Harry, though, seems to be a sticking point for Sonja, and she's told both Ramona and Lu this before. Ramona knew this and still continued to make out with him, which is shitty. She doesn't care about Harry, so if she knows it upsets Sonja, she could just leave him alone if she values the friendship. And as for Lu, she is bitching and moaning because other people aren't paying enough attention to her feelings when it comes to staying at a party long enough for her, so she could at the very least acknowledge that Sonja feels hurt in this case. Instead she blows it off.
  23. I am sad every Christmas that this isn't in all of the seasonal song rotations. It just has that special something that most holiday songs don't. You know she doesn't tip for shit, either. That woman should be making it rain with $20s everywhere she goes, but I will bet anything that she's the type of person who tips exactly 15% to the penny and thinks she's a great tipper. All you really need to know is how close you'll be to her when she's drinking. It's sort of like being at a Gallagher or Blue Man Group show. How many rows back will I be? Do I need a poncho and a face shield for the food fallout? I think Sonja does have a point when she says that they keep going after men that she has dated or been with. She's not wrong that they seem to have no boundaries there. She's also coming from a place where she's legitimately hurt by what they're doing and she's talked to them about it for years and they don't give a shit. They continue to do it. Her method of communicating it, however, was very flawed in this episode. I think someone did say something about wanting to be able to see the water and that was all they cared about. The only other thing that differentiated the rooms was the jack and jill bathroom, which would be a thing I'd consider. The last place I'd want to be would be in a room that had a bathroom connected to Sonja, for example. On the other hand, I'm sure Bethenny and Tinsley are good about cleaning up after themselves and keeping their stuff organized in a bathroom and I'd have no problems sharing a common space with them. When Sonja was going to pee in the tub, she was also getting her hair done, there was a team of people doing hair and stuff for the women in that bathroom. I really felt for the woman who was trying to curl her hair at that time, because Sonja was hopping around in the tub, waving her arms around while this woman is behind her with a hot hair tool, trying not to get hurt or burn Sonja. Bethenny tends to take a variety of tones with Sonja when she's belligerent like this. I think she tends to adapt to try to "manage" her, which is more than the others do. Other than Lu taking the margarita pitcher away from her, generally the others just let Sonja do whatever she's doing, and that's not particularly helpful. Bethenny will try to talk to her nicely, and she'll convince her to drink some water, eat some food, etc. Then when Sonja gets nasty, she was threatening to go after Bethenny, Bethenny responds in kind, sort of parenting her. And I think yelling go to bed was mostly in an effort to try to get her to go to bed, that if she took a stern, parental tone, Sonja, who was basically being a child, would listen.
  24. And even then not until she gets hauled back into court for not doing it on time. I think one of the other things that makes NY work well is that they all recognize that it's a job and treat it that way. They have the ability to have a fight and then hash shit out and then talk about it at the reunion and move on. They don't carry it around and make teams the way they do on other shows, they just know it's their job, they'll film together, everyone will interact, some might be closer than others, but whatever. They will all get along and that's that. She didn't say gang rape. She said gang BANG. A gang bang would be consensual, which is quite different than rape. It's not on my bucket list, certainly, but, she was not joking about rape. Lu wouldn't be going to jail for being an alcoholic. Lu would be going to jail because she threatened to kill a police officer and physically assaulted him. And then she resisted arrest when she escaped from her handcuffs. She also would be going to jail for violating her probation. Now did this all stem from her being an alcoholic? Most likely, but they wouldn't be locking her up for the alcoholism. She could sit her ass at home drinking away provided she didn't do anything illegal. Tinsley also has to realize that she is never going to regain her prior level of status because she is shut out of the world that being Topper Mortimer's wife let her enter. This is the same issue Sonja has. When married to a member of society, you are in, no questions asked. But they weren't ever part of society on their own merits, and now that they are the ex spouse, they won't have the same status on their own. Tinsley is trying to recapture her lost youth and that's another piece of what she can't get back.
  25. Silky seemed like she was just throwing every possible stunt into her lip sync because she knew she had no substance. She also had no sense of when to add things, or maybe just go with 2 wigs instead of all 3, because the song doesn't need all of it. Instead of coming across as a polished performance, it was just kind of a manic thing. This. I also think that Silky has to recognize the appearance of the elements she's using. While it's not the most tactful thing to say, because of her shape, she ends up looking like a beach ball rolling around on the stage when she does certain moves. Brooke rolling across the stage and scissoring her legs through the air looked like it was deliberate and precise. Silky doing the same thing behind her looked sloppy and out of control. And she doesn't have the ability to pop back up gracefully from being on the floor, so she needs to consider that when she's doing a death drop or splits. She needs to time those elements for when she won't need to bounce right back onto her feet. I could sort of see Silky's behavior as a coping mechanism if we'd ever seen any humility from her. And if we'd ever seen her do something for other people. I never saw her try to learn from someone who had been doing something longer or had more experience with anything, she blew off all critiques from the judges with an "I have no idea why they said that, I was awesome!" attitude. And then when people started tiring of her being in their face and sucking up all of the oxygen she suddenly started saying, oh, well, it's because of this. There just isn't any growth, no story of, this part of the season was rough for me and I wish I could do this over again because I would have done this, and I'm glad that I have had this experience, because I've learned x or y about myself and now I know better how to handle this type of thing.
