  1. Janelle's expectations from a polygamist husband are so low. She just wants to be equally considered. I think the fact that Janelle isn't allowing physical contact is key for her moving on. And Kody expected that a fancy dinner and his pecs and abs would get him back in her bed, her house, and her wallet.
  2. Question: When Kody takes a wife out for dinner, does it come out of the wife's budget? Or does it come from family pot? Is Janelle paying for her birthday dinner?
  3. There we go. Kody wants Meri to live in an RV on Coyote Pass and to build a casita. Or she can be in a 'barndominium' to ensure nobody steals his crap/ Does anyone think he isn't trying to string her along? To make Robyn happy and to get Meri to pay off the loans on Coyote Pass?
  4. Kody wants to be a monogamist but he doesn't want to break up with the wives' wallets. Robyn keeps prompting him to string Meri along. The difference between his reactions to the Christine/Janelle break ups and the Meri relationship is so strange. He is giving Meri just short of the bum's rush. It is so painful. BUT I LOVED MERI"S READ! When she said, sometimes people have two houses. And polygamist men live in two houses. Usually. I laughed outloud.
  5. I love that Garrison offered to host and he was clear he wants to get together for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Everyone sees the writing on the wall. Their world has changed. It doesn't have to be worse, but it is different. This shift is seismic.
  6. A lease between siblings is a great idea at that age. Mykelti and Aspen struggled.
  7. Gabe's analogy about all of the moms being in their own lifeboats with their kids was great. And I appreciated that he said all the moms are doing a good job and he has hope. I like that. It is one of the best bits of the season. And I hope that Gabe, Garrison and Gwen are able to live together without incident. I'm going to guess that they will.
  8. Hmmm. Kody's and Robin's love is a place of solace for them and Kody resents not being allowed to showing that around his other wives. He really doesn't care about anyone or anything but Kody and his 'pencil.'
  9. Welcome All! A quick note to move this to the top of the thread lists. I think it is odd that Robyn and Kody don't ride over together. We all know they live together, and he works from there. Do they think they are fooling us by pretending they haven't prepped for the call at their home.
  10. Don't allow yourself to be tricked. The bar is low. Meri is just less odious than Robyn or Kody. I like seeing her realize that Robyn and Kody are craptastic narcissists, but that doesn't mean that Meri isn't selfish or cruel. So I have decided to say that I am enjoying Meri this season.
  11. Great, but I don't think there will be any hair left on the head beyond the mouth and chin.
  12. I read that it will be coming back in January 2024.
  13. This episode is ho hum. On the positive side, Kody isn't interacting with anyone but the kids while they ATV/minibike. So there are a lot of lying solo sofa sessions and that's all. But the dueling conversations of Meri tearfully moving on and Robyn wanting her to stay and the optimistic conversation between Janelle and Christine aren't providing enough drama to keep me entertained. Meri knows it is over but hasn't been given the space to move on. Robyn gripes about the loss of sister wives to lord her legal status over (and no access to their money). She is still blaming Christine for everything. Kody is angry and throwing jabs at Christine and is mystified that his ramen curls and pecs and 6 pack can't lure Janelle back. And Christine and Janelle see a future together as family and sister wives. They will have independence, friendship and laughter. How long can they draw this out?
  14. Bwahaha, Robyn saying that Kody still talks about them all, including Meri, being on the property. We know that's not true. Kody has time and again said that he doesn't want to be with Meri. He doesn't want to reconcile. Kody doesn't want to be on the property. He wants to sell the property and make a profit.
  15. Robyn didn't really want a relationship with her sister wives. She didn't want to be part of shared child care. She wants to be the perfect and favored wife. She manipulates the situation to be viewed as the victim and damsel in distress. And she wants the family money. I like this Meri who blows up Robyn's narrative and Kody's narrative. She is realistic and pragmatic.
  16. There is just so much lying by Kody and Meri: 1) Robyn pretending that Meri is a good friend and will be missed, but not reaching out to Meri to see how she is. Meri must have been so lonely during Covid. 2) Kody saying that he keeps reaching out to Janelle to reconcile and she says no. Dude, If you were trying to reconcile then you would have proactively set up counseling. You would reconcile with your kids. Even Robyn says that Kody isn't reach out to Janelle. 3) Robyn pretending that she cares about Janelle's and Kody's relationship rather than cares about money. I think they are feeling the financial noose tightening. The show probably feels like it is slipping away. They have lost control of the money and the narrative.
  17. Ah, the mini bikes. Another throw away scene that is supposed to show us that Kody is an engaged father. And worse still, another talking head with Ari and Sol. So as expected, one month later and Kody hasn't make any moves towards therapy. Christine is absolutely right, he is trying to string Janelle along.
  18. Also thinking that Robyn looks very old for 42. She is not aging well. The wrinkles, the posture, the frown and the clothing. Robyn looks like the oldest wife.
  19. I am glad that Meri just said she was moving and didn't draw it out with Robyn. It was good for Meri to say she was moving to Paragon and would (only) be back when she is needed. Translation: I will come back to film. Otherwise: Sayonara, bitches!
  20. Wow, Robyn is driving the pick up truck that Robyn didn't want Kody to buy to move Janelle's RV. I guess if Janelle wanted it, then Robyn didn't want it. And she said it was too much truck for Janelle. But now she gets to drive it.
  21. I think the dark haired woman is Audrey, Hunter's girlfriend.
  22. During the lunch scene all I was thinking about was that Kody looks like he has been dabbling in fillers and botox, and maybe chemical peels. I think Kody's puffed up his lips and cheeks. And Kody looks like he's had a brow lift or done something with his eyes too. He looks unnatural, not hot.
