I agreed with the bottom two this week. But I thought Kiki Coe won the lip sync. Neera continues to be nasty and Denim is overrated. Someone seems determined to see her in the finale.
-
Aurora Matrix is my fave. So far they are not getting a winner's edit, though. I don't care for Venus, Denim or Neera. And Kiki and Melinda don't have a shot.

Kody Brown: The Man Who Survived a KNIFE to the KIDNEYS!

One Tell All point that I hope gets revisited is that Christine shared she had reached out to Robyn's kids but they weren't interested. Robyn's and the Prestonette's view that they are victims is based on the belief that they are excluded. They believe they were excluded from the family. They believe they were excluded from the post Christmas celebration. They believe they were treated differently. But they were invited to the post Christmas celebration. They were invited to family get togethers. They were invited to Gwen's wedding. They were invited to participate in the gift exchange. They or their parents opted out. If the show continues it will be interesting to see if this changes. But I expect not. Robyn and the Prestonettes believe that being perceived as a victim is currency with the viewers, but it is fools gold. We know the story. Eventually the children will no longer be asked to participate. And then they will move from being victims to being angry. And it will somehow be Christine's Robyn's fault.
-
And they don't have to see you very often--just for life events like marriages, graduations and funerals. That is what sharing children after an acrimonious separation from a narcissist looks like.
-
Just saw the preview for the wedding special at the end. Christine and all the kids, hers, and Janelle's look happy. It looks like a true family celebration for the Browns and Woolleys. Of course, there is a clip of left out Meri, but she seems comfortable with that. Kody is still angry and wants to mouth off. Robyn is also angry but has had time to realize that the public hates them both so she cuts him off and says they are both happy for Christine. It does seem like the perfect ending of the series.

Kody likes to demonstrate that he has a word of the day calendar or has internet service that allows him to access a dictionary. Now he is talking about Christine being Machiavellian. That means he thinks she is sneaky and cunning. That Christine lacks a moral code. In my eyes, Machiavellian describes Robyn and Kody. Robyn is sneaky and cunning. She used a damsel in distress approach to get Kody to spend extra time with her. She has mothered her kids in a way that they have anxiety issues and are isolated. Kody lacks a moral code. He leeched off his wives for decades. He used family funds to buy Robyn a mansion. He ignores his paternal responsibilities with the OG kids. Kody believes that he should still be able to dictate what Christine can do and say. And we know he will screw over Janelle if he can legally get away with it.

I'm on Max.

Kody thinks Christine is asking the kids to side her. But that isn't what happened. She didn't pit Kody's kids against him. Kody is the one that chose not to have Christmas with his kids. Kody is the one that said the relationship would no longer be intimate. Kody is the one that left Christine's kids to go and get Robyn's kids to school. Dude still believes Christine should have stayed and accepted scraps.
-
Kody seeing Christine talking about being married to someone that didn't find her attractive--his eyes get black and beady. You can see how angry he is. That said, Christine never said Kody's name. She talked about what she wants in a relationship versus what she had. But still, Kody looks unhappy.

Editing is weird tonight. After 2 snooze fests they are trying to use all of the video they took.
-
Christine prefers Disney villains to Disney princesses and she was trying out being a villain. @Roslyn, you beat me to it.
-
So Christine can't say anything negative about Robyn or Kody if she is in love with David? I don't believe that is how it works. When you exit a bad relationship and move on to a better relationship it doesn't mean that you forget about the pain of the previous relationship. You remember the pain, but it isn't front and center in your thoughts. And Christine is still helping her children and Janelle's children deal with the effective loss of their father. Kody chose Robyn over his kids so Christine doesn't need to pretend that she used to have a great relationship with Kody or Robyn.
-
When asked about using the word hate Kody doesn't own it. Kody believe it was deserved because he believes Christine mocks his pain (Covid, stubbed toes, humiliation of being divorced, significant hair loss). @General Days, I think is is okay. We did this once earlier in the season-- using the episode chat as the live chat.

A place to chat about the season finale. Hi All, I set up a place for us to live chat about the end of the season. Happy Sunday.

Robyn Brown: She wanted the family, but got stuck with the man.
Ms.Lulu replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
So we all know that Robyn trashed her ex-husband. He took her cookie, he was a poor father and husband, he was a bad man that she had to divorce. Given this, does that mean, when Kody says that Christine has to bad mouth him to get (David/a good man) to marry her, that he knows that Robyn lied to him? Is he speaking from personal experience with Robyn? -
From TikTok: I love how there is video proof of Robyn's lie about not taking the personality test. If you want to watch the episode where they take the test it is season 6 episode 10. If you start about 3.5 minutes in, you can see them all taking the test. There is a reason why Janelle and Christine don't trust Robyn and think she lies. It is because Robyn is untrustworthy and a liar.
-
Well, this still seems like it should have been a 1 or 2 part tell all. Unsatisfying. Signing off. Have a great week!
-
The Gift Exchange: Robyn saying that she was told that the OG3 kids hate her and her kids and not naming that person is unacceptable. Robyn needs to share the name. Probably that name is KODY. So she won't share it.
-
Okay, Christine talking about personality tests and Robyn's personality being about living for drama--both hers and others. I think it is funny that that became a longstanding grievance for Robyn. And I love that at first Robyn said she didn't take it and walked it back to maybe I did. And then she goes back to Christine took it for me and she doesn't know me very well. If that is the case WHY DIDN"T YOU LET HER LEAVE Her MARRIAGE WITH KODY WITH NO DRAMA? PS--We all know that you love drama--yours and other peoples. And we didn't take the test for you.
-
Another contradiction (LIE): Kody says he tells Robyn everything. But previously Robyn has said that Kody doesn't talk about his (former) relationships with the OG3.
-
He is okay with others feeling pain, but he can't feel pain. And I loved that Meri said she no longer cares about Kody's sadness or issues. Even though Kody no longer cares about Meri, I am sure that is a knife in his eyeball. That probably felt good for Meri to say publicly.
