  1. Love when Kody comments on Janelle's tiny tree and she says she is taking it to the Christmas rental. It was a great way for her to raise the fact she won't be there for Christmas. Janelle sees the writing on the wall. Kody will never apologize to his kids. So there is a separate Christmas celebration. And Kody admits that he will not stop by the rental. Kody calls it a knife to the heart. So now a knife to the kidney and a knife in the heart.
  2. Wait, Kody was out of town for a week or so--but there is Covid so Christine's kids need to test. Why is this? Maybe Kody's near death experience means that he is free to travel, but Aurora must stay locked in the basement, chaste, untouched and socially awkward until she is married off.
  3. Since Meri was likely also divorced by this time she has no reason to cover anymore. I like this Meri.
  4. I have to believe Kody is taking it hard because he just never believed that anyone would leave. Early on, he said that all of his wives were free to leave. I guess he didn't mean it.
  5. Kody coaster and Robyn is in the same confessional outfit. So are Meri and Kody. I suppose with this happening 2 years ago they could do all the talking heads at once. And maybe that is why Meri, Janelle and Christine are so candid. They have walked away and no longer feel like they need to protect the image of polygamy.
  6. Evening, All. This feels like the payoff for watching 17+ seasons. So excited! We get to see Janelle speak her mind, defend her kids, and be willing to walk away.
  7. One thing that I found interesting was when Kody was asked about the holiday gift exchange and he said he was staying out of it. That is as close as Kody will ever get to saying that Robyn was in the wrong. The group didn't need to do a Zoom call on a moment's notice. And it wouldn't be easy because they have jobs! And the original kids don't care about Robyn. I get the feeling they are okay with Robyn's kids (although Brianna has been dragged by a few of the kids) but they see Robyn for what she is. And Hunter is right. A zoom call wouldn't make a difference.
  8. So the fight, the one that officially broke up Kody and Janelle is next week! wouldn't it be great if it was a Robyn free episode?
  9. I'm watching this and I can think is, with Kody and Robyn watch this and see how they are coming off? If they do, will either of them care?
  10. Janelle confiding in Christine that her relationship with Kody is in limbo. But everything in her relationships with her kids and Christine is good. They are her family. Of course she is going to choose them. It is the same reason that Kody sides with Robyn and her kids. They are his family. Everyone should just cash out and leave the table.
  11. Even Meri is supporting the other kids. But she also said that she has seen the anger building over the years. As basically an outsider, she sees that is going on. If she actually had a real relationship with Kody then Meri would be able to tell him. But she is just a family dingleberry at this point.
  12. Why are we wasting time talking about ear piecing? Does anyone care that Aurora got her ears pieced or that Kody did too? If Kody stopped to think about it (and he wasn't a narcissist) then he might realize that he is choosing not to celebrate those kinds of experiences with his other kids. Putting his special moments with Robyn's spawn on tv only highlights that he treats the kids differently.
  13. They are all sharing their sides of the moment that the family officially imploded. Janelle recognized it immediately. Of course the kids choose their mothers! Kody favored one wife. Robyn kept her kids separate from the other kids. She refused to acknowledge how her actions impacted her kids and the other kids.
  14. I wish they could have shown the Zoom call/text thread. If is was Robyn's kids versus all if the kids is was an opportunity for for her to be a victim. And must be why they are skipping other family events.
  15. Love Paedon hinting that they aren't vaccinated by commenting on their poor immune systems.
  16. LOVED Christine's line that she doesn't think Robyn has ever lived plural marriage. Truest line of the series.
  17. 15 minutes in and Kody has said 3 times that it isn't Robyn's fault. If he admits it, then he needs to admit that he is at fault too. And that will never happen.
  18. When you are in a relationship and you are happier apart, like Janelle is at Thanksgiving, call it perfect, then it is time to address it.
  19. So Robyn doesn't understand by Kody's: Verbal abuse Neglect of Christine and her children A lack of a relationship Paying for other wives' lifestyle Would cause Christine to walk away. She is as delusional as Kody is.
  20. Robyn baited Kody into thinking it would work out. She encouraged him to think he just needed to shower a bit more attention. She didn't want the gravy train to end and he didn't believe she would really leave.
  21. Kody, Christine's life is better than it has ever been. There is not acting there. But she shouldn't go through counseling with him.
  22. That's it right there. Kody thinks that Christine is still thinking about him. But she isn't. Christine has moved on.
  23. I am loving this season. I can't predict it, the characters are developed, and it look forward to Fridays to watch it. Hari and Salvor can't both be dead, but Hari has already been dead. And Gael wouldn't believe that both have left her. And I am hoping that Day will be betrayed by Dawn and Dusk.
  24. I'm up to the 4th season now, so a few thoughts: Amy really loves to run down Matt, she regularly breaks the first rule of parenting in that you should never disagree in front of the kids, and she wears a perm scowl. Amy is the most uncomfortable being a little person, and she worries about being less than others. Less financially stable, less appreciated, less valued. Amy sometimes acts like a teen, interacting with Jeremy's friends in ways that are inappropriate. She does this with Marty too. In one episode Matt tells the doctor he would like more loving and Amy shoots him down. Maybe their relationship was already sexless. Jacob's behavior is changing as I watch the years where he has now shared that he was molested. He becomes sullen and withdrawn. Jacob acts out, a lot. Jacob is very physical with all of his siblings, and he gets hurt a lot. Jeremy is already an entitled asshole. Jeremy really thought he could make the Olympic Development Team and then makes excuses on why he didn't. It was the moment he realized he wasn't special, only on a reality tv show. Jeremy knows he is his father's favorite and uses it to his advantage. Matt is one of those people that needs to be the center of attention. Matt likes toys, and will finagle great prices or freebies, like the Wii. Matt seems ready to move on. Molly seems like a normal kid, loving both parents. When Amy talks down Matt, Molly sticks up for her father, but she also lets Matt know when she disagrees. Molly is the best athlete in the family, probably because she actually works. Zach is entitled asshole with an overinflated sense of his intelligence. Zach is disrespectful. Zach is lazy. I could say so much more. But I'll watch more first.
  25. I am the opposite! My hair is naturally a dark brown, but my eyebrows have always been lighter brown. I use a dark brown eye brow gel if I feel I need brows. I am very fair skinned with green eyes, so when I am adventurous I usually dye my hair some shade of natural red. Whenever I do, people, including my family, say I am so glad you went back to your natural color.
