  1. I've only been involved in the deposit, but the withdrawal process seems like a bank, with more paperwork
  2. I bet our random forum posts will be better than whatever the writers come up with. But if they happen to browse here and want to steal it, I am fine with that.
  3. Yes, they are on different teams -- but they seem the most likely members of the two teams to work together organically - no bad blood between them, so Toby might be like "I guess I need to be the one to do it! I'll call Flo!" Then Sly says "Florence! She likes to be called Florence!" and then Toby has a quip like "Just go with the Flo, big guy."
  4. Maybe Toby and Flo work together to make some kind of medicine while Happy and Sly try to work together on some kind of tool, but then they realize they need Walter, who doesn't want to help at first, because "well if they wanted to start their own company they should be able to do it themselves!" then a cry from Ralph "Just work with them you moron!" and he goes to help. Oh - maybe it will involve that genius guy who seems to be a sort of villain that Cabe was on trial for freeing. Maybe he traps Ralph in some kind of deadly escape room to test his IQ (because this show is stupid and thinks IQ is some kind of brute force you use to do things).
  5. This too - I liked the tone of her previous shows.
  6. The organization she founded fights to this day
  7. So I went into this episode thinking "So I sort of liked but didn't 100% like the 4 episodes so far, but I will give the 5th episode a shot." And, uhhhh..... that was one hell of a tonal shift. I liked it, but they need to find a good middle ground between this and the tone of the first four episodes.
  8. I'm picturing some kind of Rube Goldberg machine that has something for every member of the team (Even Paige and Cabe!) to do in order to save him.
  9. Maybe Ralph tries to trick them into working together (by putting himself in fake danger), then something goes wrong because these people attract chaos, and they must work together to save Ralph!
  10. That was a great episode. This season is just so damn good - I'm guessing that this show is gonna get canned - when it does, I hope Netflix picks it up. They probably won't, though. Also, the actress they chose to play Humiston actually looks like her, based off of the tiny blurry photo on wikipedia - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Grace_Quackenbos
  11. His episodes of ER were the only ones I ever saw, until some channel began reairing the earlier seasons last year. I think I started watching ER in season 7?
  12. I think it would've been better for the backdoor pilot to have not been the finale - I liked it, but it felt sort of like they didn't care Markle & Adams characters. Like I didn't want the whole finale to be dedicated to the wedding or entirely "oh look mushy moments since they are leaving the show" - but it felt like Rachel was barely in the episode.
  13. Hazel was #681 on the social security administration's baby name list in 2004 (In between Sydnee and Mariam - for boys, #681 was Muhammad, #680 was Glenn and #682 was Draven). After The Fault in Our Stars was published in January 2012, Hazel went from #211 in 2011, to #172. #157 in 2013, #105 in 2014 (Fault in Our Stars movie), #63 in 2015, and #52 in 2016. https://www.ssa.gov/oact/babynames/
  14. I like how Lena has a better containment system than the DEO. Though, I am guessing Lex might've designed the containment system Lena is using - and he probably designed it to hold Superman and then some.
  15. Your ears did NOT deceive you - it was bugging me when they said it. Rittenhouse sends back their sleeper agents at the start of each episode - they seemed to establish that in the Hollywood episode, but if that is what happens, why didn't they go back to 1926 or whenever that kid was dropped off. I think Rittenhouse is throwing ideas at the walls and seeing what sticks - keep in mind, Nicholas is running things now, so he might be like "oh look at this rock and the roll, it inspired this stuff! Let's destroy it!" I am also wondering how Flynn gets the diary? Maybe an alt Lucy gives it to him in 1937, but he said it helped him take the time machine, so hmm. Preventing mason from inventing time travel might make a paradox too big for the universe to correct - since how would they have a time machine if time travel were never invented. Too risky. What they should do is destroy the machines and the plans and dispose of everyone who helped invent it. Maybe they can't get them in the cradle if they are operating on a system of "Well, someone will fill that void and do it anyway!" So that is why killing Rittenhouse during the Revolution would've worked, but not in the cradle. That is pure speculation, however.
  16. True. You know, a better half season subplot for a show like this would be a job they have. Make it something longterm that they work on a little bit every episode - maybe have it be the reason why 1-2 characters stay back in the garage. Also, I bet they are going to have to work together because of that guy who is that recurring tech guy - Elia or whatever. He'll want to hire Scorpion for a job, hires Scorpion, is like "wtf am I paying you this much for without your team? where are they?" then sees they are at Centipede, hires them too, then Penn appears and they kiss and make up and distrust each other. Then near the end of the season Paige gets some superbug or Walter is facing all-but-certain death, and they admit they still love each other
  17. That last pigeon falling and sort of just bouncing made me laugh
  18. Hm. Well, uh, that was an episode. This season had highs and lows - at its highs, it embraced the saturday morning cartoonishness of the series and the worst, we had crap like the main plot of this episode and some of the drama this season. This season was really uneven, even for a show like this. I don't see how Scorpion without Sly, Happy, and Toby can function - sure, they have a government contract, but Walter is mostly tech stuff, and Florence is chemistry. Centipede is pretty much Scorpion, just with Slyvester being a little bit weaker than Walter with some things - and I bet they'd have Ralph help them out, so they are objectively the superior team and I bet that is going to be a running thing through the first 3-4 episodes of the next season, since it can't be any more than 6 episodes before the team is reunited, but a bit shakily. As someone said above, Slyvester and Florence will probably start dating secretly and they will probably overreact when their respective teams make comments about the other team, to the point where the romance is revealed - or maybe some magical technology will be like "oh look this machine can tell who is in love by pheromones/fMRI/EEG/eating monkey brains" and the only ones not showing signs of being in love are Paige and Walter (Since Cabe has his girlfriend (Fiance?), whose name I forget), as they are broken up. I probably just ruined the writer's idea
  19. There was no bleeping in the episode my DVR recorded. I like how the language is more realistic than it was when they finally got permission from US to curse.
  20. I prefer when things like this have it where if something big changes, stuff gets royally screwed. I think in this case, history was slower to change because Flynn was in the past, killing Rittenhouse agents. So maybe every time a potential assassin was wiped out, that "saved" our history a bit more. Or maybe having the coin change was the closest they could do to a back to the future fading away with the short screen time the coin had. Might've worked better with the wikipedia article on the iPad - maybe have it change his death date from 1963 to "last seen mm-dd-1934" while still having a photo of adult JFK or something, to show it was in flux.
  21. I enjoyed this episode - I think the show has found its rhythm, But I doubt it is doing well in the ratings, so it'll be 13 and done.
  22. I liked that they didn't try to burn the witches. It'd be funny if they just went to some totally random historical event in some episode that only historians would know about, like the trial of Tempel Anneke.
  23. Then Flynn would have to convince them to save "a random kid"
  24. He said he checked the dental records Never said he checked his father's blood/DNA.
  25. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Historical_rankings_of_presidents_of_the_United_States His aggregate rank is 10, which is pretty decent. Three most recent polls put him at 14, 8, and 16. His highest rank was 18 and his lowest was 6 - so being in the top half isn't that bad.
