So, I've recently become obsessed with the musical Hamilton. Its so good! Of course the show is sold out until September. Also, I really want Sleepy Hollow to make a nod to the musical in some way. I'm pretty sure Crane would have clashed with Hamilton,lol.

They're also doing a lot of promotion on Twitter. Their Instagram page seems to get updated everyday also. I can't see their tumblr at work, but I imagine it's being updated pretty often.

Sleepy Hollow isn't the only show to have such a long hiatus; Scandal went off around the same time and doesn't come back until 2/11. On the other hand, Scandal isn't in danger of going off the air anything soon.

I agree about the G rated romance on this show. It's actually really weird to me. I don't want them to sex it up to Scandal levels, but I too would like to see some passionate kissing. I'd especially love to see it between Abbie and Crane, but that may be asking too much.

I think she was being sarcastic. I've known her for a while, and she's never said anything like that before. It might not have been clear sarcasm, but I don't think she's serious.

That's odd. I know Ciara, and she's pretty vocal about her struggles as a mixed race woman in the entertainment industry. Her mother is white, which is what she was referring to when she mentioned being white.

While I can't say that I completly trust the writers just yet, I don't think we'll see Betsy or Zoe as Abbie replacements in the future. Neither were in the last 2 episodes, which I believe were shot after Season 3 started. I think TPTB may hear what the fans are saying, and may be listening. My speculation is also based on questions from the most recent Project Fox survey.

Apparently those were real items that have been put into spending bills.

Kent State recently did a production of The Mountaintop with a white Martin Luther King Jr. The playwright was not informed about the casting, and was horrified. She just added an addendum into the rights for the show stating that MLK must be played by an actor of color.

I'm still processing, but I think I loved this episode! Mellies stand for Planned Parenthood was a thing of beauty! The end (for now) of Olitz. The abortion scene. Has there been a protagonist on network tv to get an abortion other than Maude back in the 1970s? That was a bold choice, and I say kudos to Shonda for taking it. There will probably be think pieces about it tomorrow morning.

I'm an eternal optimist. I'm enjoying this season for the most part. I like the slower pace. That being said, I hope that the show runners will pay attention to what fans are saying, and retool it a bit before they come back in February. I also hope they will hype the move a bit. I did something I rarely do, and posted about the move on my Facebook. Why? Because I believe in the show that much. Again, eternal optimist. It ain't over yet. Oh, I've posted this before, but I highly recommend joining Project Fox. They conduct surveys on all of the Fox owned shows, and there have been at least 3 this year on Sleepy Hollow. They also have a discussion page, and I'd say most of the people there have the same opinions most of us have. It's moderated, and the moderator will actually reply to posts in positive ways.

I think it's good. It's no longer up against Scandal and The Blacklist. And as a fan of both Scandal and Sleepy Hollow I'm happy that I won't have to choose which one to watch live anymore. Also, I don't think Friday is considered the death slot any more. Fringe seemed to thrive, as has Grimm on NBC. In fact a lot of people of the Sleepy Hollow Facebook page are excited to watch Sleepy Hollow at 8, then Grimm at 9.

I agree. My initial fanwank is that the money came from a trust for Corbins Cabin. I like the idea that Crane sold some of his family heirlooms. It's not really something that bothers me either way.

I didn't mind SBR this week. I still have an issue with Zoe, but that's for another thread. I'd tap Joe Corbin. I have no shame,lol.

A few unpopular opinions about this season: 1. It doesn't bother me that Abbie and Reynolds both have comfy positions with the FBI 9 months out of Quantico. 2. It doesn't bother me that Crane doesn't seem to have a job. 3. It doesn't bother me that Crane follows Abbie to crime scenes. 4. It doesn't bother me that Abbie shoots off her gun and no one questions the use of bullets. These things don't bother me because this is a show about supernatural things and creatures. It's not set in the real world. If I can suspend my disbelief about a 200 plus year old Colonial man coming back to life to fight demons in the 21st century, I can suspend my disbelief about mundane things like paying rent, employment, and quick job advancement.

Miss Dee, I'll take refuge with you for the time being. I really like this season so far. It's not perfect, and it will probably not reach season 1 levels. But so far I'm entertained, and some times that's all I ask for in a tv show.

It's funny, one of the first things I ever saw Tom Mison in was The Secret Diary of Call Girl with Billie Piper. His love screen with Piper was one of the hottest things I'd ever seen. I wish I could find a link, but it's hard to find online. Trust me, I was fanning myself. I personally feel like he's just not playing up the kissing scenes between him and Betsey for some reason.

I don't care for her either. She's kinda blah. She's like Anne from Arrested Devolpement. "Her?". Also, the only thing I like about Betsey Ross was the only thing I liked about Katrina, and that's her costume. I know the costume is ridiculous and inppropriate and I want it in my costume closet. That being said, I loved this episode! The Tooth Fairy was delightfully creepy. I may have nightmares about it tonight.

I highly recommend that Sleepyheads that fit the demographic sign up and take the survey.

I agree with both points! Look at Scandal: the majority of the characters on that show are horrible people. And yet I i like almost every character despite the fact that I'd run screaming from them in real life. The only character I don't care for is Fitz. He's the worst, but I don't think that's an unpopular opinion ;) I have trouble hearing things from speakers, so I prefer to use closed caption. It used to drive my parents crazy when I lived at home, which is funny as they also can't hear the tv.
