  1. My absolute don't want to win person is Christie. Even if she knows America hates her, she'll take it as a sign that the Universe is on her side and that will be all that matters.
  2. This month it was $6.67, plus a 20 cent international fee which must be the currency conversion fee. I just have the basic streaming plan, which is $8.99 here.
  3. That's exactly what I was thinking of, especially because the funny thing is that it even had the same effect on me while I was watching it!
  4. Yep, that's my 22-lb. Scout! My user name is after the To Kill a Mockingbird character (plus she was a girl). But when I got Scout when he was two months old--he's six now--the name Scout just fits perfectly. I also have a smaller tortoiseshell cat, Willow, but I particularly love orange kitties and will always have one. They are sooo sweet and affectionate. Scout loves to be picked up and held. The other cat will tolerate it for about a minute and has a pained expression on her face! "I. Will. Cut. A. Bitch!" Scout's first photo. To get back on track, is Joe Tata still alive? He's one of the few characters I can think of that I'd like to see.
  5. Except, I just realized that first I was talking about the actress who played Clare and Brian Austin Green getting together offscreen but then got confused and veered off to talk about the characters' storyline, LOL. Anyway, Zach could be their son because I'm sure his mom just HAS to be some old cast member who will make an appearance. All I do know is that based on the snarling in the media between Tiffani and Jenny and Tori, there is zero chance it will be Tiffani.
  6. I didn't want to make the ignorant assumption that they were basically the same, which I thought at first, so I checked the geography. They're about a 1,000 miles apart so I figured they were probably very different. Apparently not!
  7. I am really enjoying the hell out of this show! Had no idea I would like it so much and I am hoping there will be a second season. My thought about Zach is that his mother is Kathleen Robertson, who played Clare. I thought Clare was involved solely with David but she was after Brandon at first and then dated Steve Sanders for a while. However, according to a show Wiki she was also with David: "David and Clare start dating their sophomore year in college after meeting in a Media Studies class. They have a fun and light relationship, mostly based on sex, but break up when they both admit to having feelings for someone else; David for Donna, Clare for Brandon. They reunite for a while, but Clare breaks up with David during the summer before their junior year. They stay friendly afterwards as part of the gang." There appears to be some bad blood between Tiffani Amber-Thiessen and some of the cast and both sides have already said she won't be part of the reboot. This makes me think it's more likely to be Kathleen.
  8. I thought I saw that but then when I saw the kid the next time I figured that maybe it had just been the angle of the camera that made it look empty, like the kid was leaning forward. Yes, it's much more plausible that it's the usual wonky, sloppy editing.
  9. "When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life; for there is in London all that life can afford.” - Samuel Johnson, September 1777
  10. I went looking to see if Tori's dolls and the miniature Peach Pit were actually merchandise from back then. Neither were, however, I did find this interesting menage a trois! https://www.ebay.com/itm/Barbie-Brenda-Walsh-90210-Britney-Spears-Justin-Bieber-Nude-Doll/173908030354?hash=item287db9f392:g:2yQAAOSwX21c4dm7
  11. Every time I see this car on the way to work, I immediately think of it at bosawks' car!
  12. Somehow, I'm still paying Netflix's lesser Mexican rate. I signed up on my Kindle back in 2016 when my dad was in a car accident in Mexico and I had to go down there. I needed something to watch in my tiny junior hotel room. Even though I and a friend ( who is using my guest account) have ISPs in the U.S.--and it knows this because it alerts me whenever she logs on from different Starbucks down in California--I am still being charged at that rate with a tiny international transaction fee (less than 50 cents).
  13. Because heaven forbid there should be any manufactured drama-free relationships!
  14. He has a tail? Sooo envious of Darcy in London, especially since she could never appreciate it like I do. I've been there three times and there's almost a physical pain when I have to leave to go home. Like I'm already homesick for it! There's one light rail station here that's underground and I've actually gone there a few times just to sit because it smells like the Tube and I love seeing the lights coming through the tunnel. I might have uttered "Mind the gap between the train and the platform" a few times.
  15. The jacket coming off was probably a no-brainer for most of us due to already being aware of all the manufactured drama!
  16. CALLED IT last week that Rebecca would take the jacket off!
  17. Lacey said she was lonely because John was in prison so that's why she went looking...and found a second guy who couldn't be with her at the time, either. So, you solved your loneliness problem how?
  18. Every time I see him I have to mimic his indignant declaration: "I'm Skinny Pete!" Can't remember what episode it was but I think he says it to Walt. My Facebook post 11 hours ago: OMG!! A "Breaking Bad" movie!! OMG!! OMG!! A "Breaking Bad" movie!! OMG!! A "Breaking Bad" movie!! OMG!! A "Breaking Bad" movie!! OMG!! OMG!! OMG!! The loop that's been in my brain for the last 20 minutes after learning the surprise news. ETA: It was Tuco's men, not Walt. Still cracks me up because he's so sure they should know him!
  19. Forgot to add that we are a lot alike. Although I haven't spent any time in that forum I really flove Taylor's first few albums and unabashedly enjoy singing along. Another confession is that I also adore and sing along with Ashlee Simpson's first album! Okay, back to working my way through Rancho Relaxo's discography.
  20. I have Sirius XM but am not finding a lot I like aside from Lithium, XMU, and Underground Garage. I'm almost 56 but have the opposite problem of what usually happens as one gets older: music is not loud enough! About 95% of what is played on "alternative" stations bores the hell out of me. I want teeth, energy, rawness, and guitars laden with effects. After falling in love with The Brian Jonestown Massacre a couple of years ago I became immersed in an entirely new genre of psychedelic and lesser-known shoegaze bands. That's pretty much all I listen to now. Every time someone asks who I'm listening to I always apologize for sounding like a hipster because my response is usually, "You probably haven't heard of them." However, no one will EVER be able to touch The Beatles, and "Tomorrow Never Knows" is my favorite psych song ever. I've always said that it's like they exist on a separate musical planet from all other bands. I can understand people not liking any other bands but I'm floored when someone says they don't like The Beatles. What the hell is wrong with you?! I did have a young friend who felt that way but she had never heard "Tomorrow..." or the Revolver album and that totally changed her opinion of them. Her mother had only ever played their earlier, more pop-ier music. Even though I was unfortunately spoiled for the John Lennon appearance, I still started crying when I saw him. I've always felt that for my generation (I was born in 1963) his death was like John F. Kennedy's for the generation before us. I will always remember exactly where I was when I heard about Lennon, just like my mom remembers where she was when she heard about Kennedy. It was that monumental.
  21. Max sometimes had a look on his face that made me think of the evil kid from The Twilight Zone in the "It's a Good Life" episode.
  22. It's just all about you, isn't it? What about doing it for OUR entertainment?
  23. During the first episode when he was all monotone and dead-eyed listing off the things he liked, I mimicked his creepy voice and added: "You will put the lotion in the basket..." Didn't seem the least bit out of place!
