It's hard to compete with the Megan, Michael, and Sarah clusterfuck.

Sarah's friend looks great from the right side but the shaved left side is so very unattractive.

I've watched every season and although there have been a few heartbreaking moments, this season is really hitting me hard. I think because the other seasons didn't feel so current, they could have happened anytime in the last decade. But knowing that all the things that happened to Blanca and Maritza and Diego are actually occurring every single day RIGHT now, makes the season so much more impactful. I'm up to episode 10 and although it's difficult to watch, for me it's one of the best seasons. And I say this as a mid-50s, cis, Caucasian woman, born in the U.S., who will never have to experience this but my hearts ache for those who do and I am so frustrated that I can't do anything to help them.

My best friend and her husband coined the phrase "kitten brain" to explain the random psychotic behavior. Scout, the cat in the picture, is six now but I brought him home when he was about two months old. That was the first time I had had a kitten in over 19 years (the age my beloved orange kitty Milo died) so I had forgotten just how much work they are! It was karma, though, for my other cat, Willow, who was five and had bullied and scared poor old Milo the last few years of his life. She's the first female I've had and I didn't know how bossy they are when I got her! Anyway, I didn't have much sympathy for her when she was being chased around and under attack from little Scout (at 22 lbs. he is no longer little!).

He must be deleting any negative comments because all I saw were positive ones along the lines of, "ohhh, PK, UR sooo funny!" (As someone who is not too lazy to type just four more freakin' characters to spell out "you're," it hurt my brain to type "UR.")

Has anyone read her book yet? I wasn't a fan of hers when she was on the show but downloaded the sample to my Kindle and it's actually pretty good. Thinking about buying it.

I don't think they showed Dick burning Jen with a cigarette or dumping a glass of iced tea over the head on the episodes. Those were just a couple of the most blatant ways things he did to bully her. Wasn't there also something about raping her corpse? I started out not liking her at all because of her crying over her photo but it didn't take long into the season while reading the live feeds thread that I overwhelmingly began to support her. From Reddit: When Dick would threaten to rape the female HGs, when he'd tell Jen he was going to squeeze her neck so hard her bones would snap, and other assorted stuff, all of that was never shown on the actual TV show.

During Paul's last reign of terror I couldn't even look at him so for the first season ever I only read the live feeds thread and didn't watch 90% of the episodes. This week? Same. My blood pressure can't handle watching Jack and his ass-kissers' insufferable smugness and I'm deleting episodes from TiVo until there's a major power shift. Manifesting it now...
