  1. The only thing that surprised me about that promo for "Truth Is Stranger Than Florida" is that it took this long for ID to do that type of show. Many of us here in Florida are perfectly sane and do not steal police cars while naked and hopped up on meth, but our weird gets reported on more than other states.
  2. Well, many times when I go out in heels, I take a pair of flat shoes to change into just in case there's more walking than I anticipated. Kelly is a nut, though. I think it was a case of all of them collectively just getting sick of her after doing their best to tolerate her. No doubt she was being her normal charming self from the start of the plane ride, and the nose flicking was the last straw. Heather's outrage was giggle-worthy, but I get that it was upsetting to have someone bang on your bathroom door and tell you that they're kicking you and your trash American friends out. I get the sense that she missed the entire thing, so that was all she could focus on.
  3. Lol, what the hell at Tamra looking like she was possessed in that preview. As far as this episode: Shannon is a loon, Heather wore a perfect party dress, and I continue to wish Kelly would just go away. It's amazing how fast Vicki reverted to being awful in every way once she was accepted back into the group. And by amazing, I mean completely predictable.
  4. Today it was either this or Storks with the kids, so I chose this. Yes, they were lucky that they had Viola Davis going over the 65 backstories of the characters, that's the only reason it held my attention. Still, it seemed like it lasted 30 minutes. Harley Quinn in the movie was much more tolerable than I anticipated, as I'd gotten sick of the character just from the promos. Credit to her and Will Smith for really elevating rather thin characters, and Jay Hernandez as well. Like you, I was all, "When did they become close?" when he said they were family, but he made it work as well as he could have. As you said, an odd movie. Honestly, it was a mess, but at least it was a watchable mess. Out of all of the new incantation of DC movies, this is the only one I could at least sit through again.
  5. I think it was Brooke in Season 2, I kind of remember them showing Jackie looking ragged afterwards, lol.
  6. One good thing about Jackie is that you know that, no matter how much they may try and give her a redemption edit, sooner or later that crazy will spill out everywhere and the ugliness comes out. She actually trampled a girl! And was ready to swing on Angel Brinks, who I don't even like that much, over some craziness that she's made up in her head!
  7. Yay, Supernatural won the EW fan cover contest! http://www.ew.com/article/2016/09/06/supernatural-fall-tv-cover-battle-winner
  8. There's something premiering tonight called Killer Clergy, and new episodes of Deadly Women start tomorrow night. Plus, next Friday a new season of Nightmare Next Door starts up.
  9. I'm with you. Natalie pinged my radar from day one, and there have been little slips here and there that always kept me wary of her. This week showed me that my instincts were dead on. If the updates I'm reading are accurate, I may have underestimated just how bad she is.
  10. Count me in as still feeling that Ryan Lochte is full of shit, and that interview was just laughable. Particularly with this account from the person who helped translate. As I suspected, it was the swimmers who offered to pay in order to avoid having the police come out, so that makes any claims of "robbery" that they try to claim just complete and utter bullshit. http://abcnews.go.com/International/good-samaritan-olympic-swimmers-begged-police/story?id=41546590
  11. Corey is blond, bland, and vacant, and there are plenty who will vote for him just based on that. Corey actually bothers me more than Paulie at this point. He's not the loudmouth that Paulie is, but he's the type that supports guys like that until they realize that the ship is sinking, and then go and enable another asshole.
  12. Honestly, it's exactly what I expected to happen. At least I won't have to watch Z's pathetic self anymore.
  13. Wait, what, something mildly interesting happening? It's sad how happy that makes me.
  14. Yes, the only weak link last year really was Meg, and I was so happy that she didn't get dragged to final 3 the way players like her usually are.
  15. I think there was something like this during BB4, with Alison and Jun.
  16. I really enjoyed this episode. Meghan doesn't bother me at all, though I agree that there's something very flinty and awkward about her that makes it hard to warm up to her. She should have done a few more run-throughs of her speech, and I thought she seemed very nervous, but I do believe her caring is sincere. And I was in love with the peach dress that Heather wore out to dinner, just lovely. Since I'm in the process of getting into weights and reshaping my own body (though not to Tamra's level yet!), all of Tamra's fitness stuff is pretty interesting to me. She does seem more sincerely mellow and pleasant this season, though thankfully not above some subtle shit-stirring! I've never cared for Shannon, so I'm not exactly on her side in this whole Kelly situation. However, Kelly is somehow even more annoying than Shannon. I have no idea if Shannon set her up, and I really don't care, because she sucks anyways.
  17. I agree with most in that the show is pretty terrible...and yet, I get sucked into every episode. It's the horrible acting by Wolfe and his assistants, and the ridiculous ways that the shows end. It got even more brazen with it in the second season, and yet I watched. On another note, I wonder when Redrum is returning? Deadly Sins abruptly reappeared this past week on Thursday night with little fanfare. I think I like that one mainly to see what the host will be wearing, and what new style of glasses he will have.
  18. Here's an article on the recent ID convention.
  19. Eh, well, they actually cancelled House of Lies, the finale just aired.
  20. Yeah, I saw the Miss Pee Pants episode, that was hilarious. All big and bad until the cops came for that ass. What was also funny was that I was looking at my computer for a minute, and then just heard "Peed herself" and when I looked up, there was the big wet spot on my TV. I did like the show overall, and was glad that I wasn't familiar with the story, though I got tripped up on the Janeene/Genene thing while googling during the episode.
  21. LOL, they just keep sucking people in with those relabeled episodes!
  22. Tom Mison finally comments on Nicole's departure.
  23. Well, I went to see it this afternoon, and overall I enjoyed it. The biggest problem that I had was that there was not one main character who was not saddled with some really trite dialogue that I felt embarrassed for them over. All of the leads were great, and it was their portrayals that really lifted a rather basic plot line. I didn't get the impression that anyone was "phoning it in", though they really didn't give Magneto much to do in the second half, and I agree that they've really piled on the tragedy for him.
  24. Yeah...are we going to get forums for Season 2? I want to spoil myself for the last episode to see if they get caught before diving in!
