I have always argued (Sandra Lover here) 1/2 the problem with Sandra's stragety game is that she'll come up with great stuff - but the people she's playing with will totally, utterly eff it up (and it usually involves Rupert somehow, so that's not surprising). Like. in Pearl Islands, she's flat out telling Tijuana the boys are going to screw us over, this is what's going to happen etc, and Tijuana is all like "oh i don't know." then Sandra does her sneaky thing and Tijuana hears Jon and Burton laying everything out on the ground and still really refuses to go with Sandra (et al). (Okay this didn't really involve Rupert, but still) on Heroes vs. Villains where Sandra is trying desperately to get Rupert out and she's explaining to everyone how Russell is and he can't be trusted, then Rupert screws up one vote (hence Sandra's "I'mma gonna write your name down and you're still going to give me the million), then Candice decides she wants to be all part of Russell's harem, and by then Sandra's all like screw this i'll work with what I can do on the flip side. (One could argue this helped her win - but she always had a lot of active moves, it's just that everyone always kept on flipping) unlike Cirie who basically almost always got her way (which caused her to be voted out 3rd. (stupid JT). I didn't know that Yul/Earl have said they'd never come back. this makes me sad because I love Yul and Earl. :( I didn't know about Tony (or his health scare, I hope he's okay) either. I think the issue with the all winners seasons... I don't know if you'd get 8 women (or 9 or 10). Tina's played 3 times (and I don't want her back). Vecepia is an option but I don't think the powers that be would want her back. Jenna (eh - and I like her), Amber maybe but see Vecepia, Danni, Kim, Natalie? Parvarti's played 3 times and I don 't want her back.Sophie Clark? Denise? Natalie? (sorry, I just caught this : kikaha - I do disagree. the only person who didn't know Sandra was Russell. Everyone else knew of her and her gameplay. Parvarti and Jerri kept warning him but Russell felt that she could be a goat, and wanted to drag her along. I would say, what Sandra lacks in the physical game - Lord knows she'd admit the same thing. she does make up in the Social. Personal, and Strategic. There is a great scene in HvV where Rob and Russell are talking on the beach and Russell is going how we need to get rid of the weak, the dumb, the whatever. And Rob looks at him and goes "who are you talking about?" and Russell goes, "them two." and waves to Sandra and Courtney who are right there. And Rob looks at Russell, looks at Sandra, and then he cracks up)

Returning Shows of the Brit Persuasion Downton Abbey (sniffles, ending) Call the Midwife Sherlock (fina-freaking-ly) Doctor Who (picking on my last nerve. Hate Clara. I generally love them Surely we cable Outlander Black Sails (even though I'm behind) Game of Thrones Network Television Grey's Anatomy. (I wish I could quit you and Shonda seriously trampled my last nerve) Survivor (never ever miss a season) Galavant (YAY!!) Scandal (I really want to drop this show. but I just know I'm going to be watching the first few episodes, but i hate it so much). Once Upon a TIme that is up coming Maybe Supergirl. Maybe Crazy-Ex Girlfriend (I like Musicals). there's Quantamo? the FBI terrorist show that looked interesting. i'm not sure. lately i find most teevee shows get cancelled so i basically wait until they're renewed for season two.

The sad thing is - there are a few reboots that would make total sense or not even a reboot but a continuation of the series, but we'll never see them. The Cosby Show + A Different World. at the end of both shows, Denise & Whitley were pregnant and their kids would be 1 year apart. They could have done (easily) A Different World with their two kids. But no network would touch that with a 10 foot pole (and rightfully so) I would kill for another Star Trek series (doesn't even have to be a reboot). (but then I didn't like Voyager, hated Enterprise, and hate the rebooted movies, so b careful what I wish for there). the Xena reboot makes me v. nervous. Actually, I kinda wish that it would be on HBO or on Starz. i mean the show got so dark and sensual all of that on cable teevee but i feel they could really go there on a HBO-style. and as someone said - as much as it's tiresome... it's a guaranteed market for whomever loved the show. (which comes with a lot of risk because if it's not good, you insta-lose them)

Denzel and Keith? (though to be fair, they were only hopped out on one girl each, and Marijana flitted between Matthew and then Denzel). but Mikey is on another whole level. it's like he's trolling to get laid. and honestly, if we're going to have all of this, I'd like some Shandi-esque drama. Because honestly all of these people going "I have a significant other, but I'm cuddling/just kissing/flirting/innocent stuff with other people on teevee" would make me flip my poop and not want to be with that person anymore. (but that's just me).

I was catching up on the cycles I've missed (I'm wondering if i want to watch 19, i just bypassed it) - Shei's was horrible. Like I like how she worked it, but there was that Korean designer who flat out said it looked weird and stupid and why did she did that?

I don't understand why Tyra is lowering the height requirement (because I would assume most models would have to be relatively... tall), but won't have a plus-size season or something. I swear I remember reading that Lyle Lettau was wearing a fat suit to make him look a bit bigger. But show wise, Owen helped him lose weight. so I'm guess that + maybe a growth spurt and woila.

I honestly think Karen was finally free to be herself. she didn't have to hide being a Synth (everyone knew). I caught that too, like... was she acting Snyth-y after she slept with the cop? Because I was totally noticing how she wasn't walking like a Snyth. Though Karen/Beatrice was cold, she was going to overload all of them and have them die/shut down. then she gives up the code.. And Niska being all "deuces" (and creating a copy of a copy - she's very stealth too!) Hobbs creating conscience synths so they can be basically Freds... that's horrible (but i am happy. Maxie is alive and well). he was my favourite. so happy with season 2 is going to happen.

I just think compared to everyone else, the actor wasn't really that strong.

OMG - that's what I came on here to rant about. It drives me insane how all of these people are going to American Schools. Like, Becky, I get because she's American and she only really came up here because of her brother and hockey career. but honestly: Becky wants to study Marine Biology: University of Guelph. (Guelph, Ontario) Connor wants to study AstroPhysics: York University (Toronto, Ontario) Western University (Kingston Ontario) Jenna wants to study Sound Engineering: Ryerson University (Toronto Ontario) Imogen was going to OCAD (yay) but there's also ACAD in Alberta so there was other options Dallas's Japan option... i would have believed it more had it been the Swedish Elite League or Germany (Just because Hockey is huge there not so much Japan). I don't blame Alli, I would totally go to Cambridge though. I feel I rant this every graduation. When I was in school the number of students that actually took their SATS were so low - mostly because for Canadians (or rather any international student) the fees that they would pay are astronomical. Like going to U of T is about 5,000 a year. (give or take). for International students it's doubled. So for Canadians to contemplate going to US schools not only do they ALL have to take their SATS, they then have to pay roughly 20% more than what the US residents have to pay. (So again Becky going to the US for school makes sense because it could actually be cheaper for her, vs. going to Guelph, where she qualify as a international) Same with Declan and Fiona before going to Art School in the states and Harvard? (Stanford?) makes sense. Holly J's, Jane and Katie's dream of always going to the "Big Posh American school" more than likely not. it would have been (or should have been Queens) which is one of the most prestigious schools in Ontario (if not the Country -high up there) McGill is also a huge deal here, of course so is U of T. Simon Fraser/UBC in Vancouver, not to mention all the hundreds of colleges with amazing programmes we have. Seriously, Show, pick up a damn copy of MacLean Complete Guide to Universities and Colleges. It's all right there . this was my bible from 11th grade to my grade 13 year (no longer a thing in Ontario). I devoured it. I always checked the rankings for my programme, how they ranked across country and internationally, what the grades were necessary to get in, the likihood based on my applications... It shouldn't be that difficult. it makes me so angry (especially when I tweeted and contacted the writing staff + Stefan Bergman about this LAST YEAR) and I got a nice response back, that finally, it would be addressed. I have to truly wonder if the USification of school choices has a lot to do with the fact that TeenNick is based in the states. which, I apologise: so what, who cares, this is a Canadian show, based in Canada, and at least 80% of the students should be going to Canadian schools. (just like when I watch a USA based show, and they graduate I would expect at least 80% of the students (if not all) to go to US based schools) grr. argg. with that rant out of the way. I loved the episode. I'm glad that EClare are sort of still kinda endgame, but Clare is going to grow up a little.I loved Becky and Imogene (and really glad that they stayed BFFs, and not crossed that line but that out of all the people in Imogene's life - Eli, Fiona, Jack - Becky is truly the one who loves and gets her the best). Kinda meh about Clare/Ali/Jenna (mostly because I feel they kinda grew apart, if that makes sense) and Drew... cutest dumb boy this show had I think. he "grew up" but still had that Drewness to him (which they really worked on rehabbing after being such a jerface). when Degrassi flips to Netflix, I know I am going to be Teen Frankie (because Frankie is Love) but they really need to fix/address the rest of her class because don't care about any of them as I had with everyone else.

(sigh). This really bums me out. I don't mind Asia at all, but the Winter Olympics are my favourite and we're already doing Korea and their time difference, Tokyo (for the Summer) and then back to China? Ugh. I know I must sound like ugly North American right now, but really like the bounce between Euro-Asia and Pan-America. though with almost every single city BUT Asia not bidding i guess their hands are tied. I think tey're really going to have to re-calculate how 'expensive' to make these games now. I know that Toronto is considering the Olympic Bid for 2024 (which if they did they're totally losing just because of politics, even though the IOC is pushing for it),so they are going to push for 2028 (maybe). a lot of Canadian places get turned down because we don't have suitable mountains for the Skiing. something is going to have to give, or I guess maybe you just double dip? (I would not shed a tear to have another Whistler :D )

while it hasn't happened in Degrassi-verse, when I went to high school we voted for ours. so that was a nice little throw back for me Clare: Pill was wrong for taking that information, but I do believe that her heart was in the right place. I don't like Maya or anything like that, but I don't think anyone's first time should be under a drug-induced haze. Like I like Principal Pill out of the several we've had (Raditch who always felt like everyone was wasting his time even in the classic days), HotSauce who was Hot after Simpson,, the Shep (don't even). like Archie was great, but Pill doesn't seem to be "reacting" she's actually putting rules down that should have been down period - ie: having teacher supervision for school events. my high school we weren't allowed any of that either.(pda or well, pagers at the time). my belief was good why are you calling people when you were at school. make plans. outside LOL i just mean that almost everything. boom. detention. and in Becky's case, i don't get why she got any.

I don't think it did. (like later on she was like "kill all the cops"). but I think Sophie wasn't a threat and she loosened up a little bit. (she was also very aware why Joe/Laura started to freak out and backed off Sophie). I think she's like a feral cat kinda. She'll allow sometimes to people get close (George, Sophie) but you can't forget that she is indeed feral and will attack when threatened. regarding the Katrice - her name is Beatrice, but she's also Karen, so I just smushed the name together (Ka-trice). sort of like how I go Mi-nita for Mia/Anita. really broke my cardinal sin for name-smushing. lol i thought that was very interesting too. like she is suicidal (because she doesn't want HumaSynths to be a thing) + there has to be Original Recipe Beatrice in there somewhere and she was suicidal too, so there is a lot of.. messed up in her synthetic head.

I seriously missed the little clip of Katrice in Leo's memory log. So Katrice is Leo's real mom? (Like looks wise?) Interesting because the Synths basically rejected her, she wants to kill the HumaSynths and allow the evolution of SynthKind not to take place. it was so sad, because It George died twice. Physically, and Mentally because of all the memories that Otie had (who is now trahed). Who is the Secret Agent Guy? (Like he obviously knew George and David) Niska + Sophie playing Dolls and Dinosaurs was such an adorable moment. Going from "I told you I didn't want to!" to "I have an Idea" and riding on the Dinosaur.

That's my hope too. The Heaven series was my favourite (which is hilarious because I loathe Heaven. I think that's what made the books so great. Like I loved the Casteels but Heaven was just this uppity beeotch, who has some amazing moments). I would also love to see the Cutlers done, which I always enjoyed. I am kinda meh on the Landry series (I feel that's when the ghostwriter really started to drop the ball) and then that Series in Maine was just the death in what I loved about the VC Andrews world. I am excited/dreadful about Audrina too. it was an amazing book (and put me on team loathe Arden as well)

1: this principal is very trigger happy with Detention. What exactly was the detention for? accidentally loading up sex websites on her own personal computer? like. honestly. But i loved Becky (I always liked her) and that she's open, etc.. I am not always happy how religion is portrayed on television but I do like sort of how Becky handles life as a Christian girl. so that's a yay 2: Shut up Tristian. Your teacher was a paedophile (which I am so mad they just 'poofed' that story away. now it's just. No dear, you do not. Maya stick up for yourself Zig is cute but I don't really want them to be together. 3: So Clare's baby is a "tock" which makes sense. Alli was never pregnant, (false alarm ), Jenna was a tick (boy), Liberty was a tick (boy) and Manny was a tock (abortion). (and going back to the classics, Spike was a tick (obviously, Emma), and Heather was a tock in an abortion). the show has never covered miscarriage, and so I am glad to finally have them address this with a show. but poor Clare. this was a good week of Degrassi next week maaaaybe Grace has something that's not being a sage technogeek?
