  1. me too. I was legit disappointed that it was panties. imagine Black Cindy speaking dirty on a sex phone line?
  2. Poor Tucky. I never thought I'd like her but I do - and that was horrible. That dead eye stare.... that is chilling.
  3. Me either! I knew she spoke German but actual Penn-Dutch Amish, actually getting baptized no way. It was heartbreaking that she really seemed like she was going to give up the 'bad' life, to be happy and whatnot, and the law actually pushed her into doing ... the right thing, which cost her everything she wanted, which caused her to do bad things and end up in jail that's twisted.
  4. Yael Stone is really hitting it out of the park this season. She looks lost and no one (hello, Red) is really looking out for her. my heart is breaking for Morello. Chang... wow. WOW. Mya - i know right? I was like. what are you do... oh hey that wouldn't be that bad lol
  5. That's what I'm getting. I am thinking he is the guy who is in charge of the entire thing. Flacca - Marisol's backstory was really sad and that she basically ended up somewhere that she was trying to avoid. I can't lie though, her "I'm getting arrested for not selling drugs!" was kind of funny. i don't know i'm not really feeling the 'vibe' with this season.
  6. Paige + Leo are at the AA meeting (Long Live the Queen), to save the innocent that Phoebe saved (then condemned to death) because she also saved the Demon. The only real hint that Paige never drinks (and the cannon-y) bit, is that she always asks if it's apple cider or Piper goes "and apple cider for you." (she also has Perrier in Charmed Again, and is always drinking that or a clear liquid (ie soda) when she's at the club with everyone else). When she orbed down to see why leo wasn't answering her calls (LLTQ), she pushed the bottle of booze with a side of disgust, so I don't think it was ever heavily implied that she was an alcoholic but more of - she drank a lot as a teen - and then stopped. (and the stopping more than likely had to do with the fact that her parents died, and she thought she was a failure to them so she wanted to clean up everything - including drinking) that's how i always took it anyway. i was always hoping for Susan Ward (I liked her on Sunset Beach and Hercules. I think she would have done the storyline good, but i didn't mind Rose). I think really having a Quirk-ier Prue would have been a really good storyline for her. She was young - but had to grow up fast. she is all YAY! magic, but she grew up 100 percent in a non magical atmosphere. (like even the girls had some semblance of magic growing up, ie: the fairy tales, Grams herself, etc), Paige did not. i really do like they made her more and more 'white-lighter' ish though.
  7. All but Season 6 (they closed the hospital doors instead via magic). I really hate that SD never allowed the show to use her likiness etc (really to the point where I was like. RECAST PRUE! but then I would have been mad because i Loved SD as Prue).
  8. ooho i have a lot. heh. I miss Prue, and I think the show really missed her a lot after she died. This is funny because I love Piper and I loved how they made her more assertive and what not after Prue died, but i don't know. I missed Prue. and I missed what she brought to the show, and I just think there were a lot of instances that Prue was 'needed' I always felt when Prue died we got Piper and two "younger" sisters vs. a clear cut older/middle/younger sister. I hate Phoebe Now, this is not unpopular ;) But these are the reasons why. I hate how she went from wanting to always help the innocent, to becoming ... Phoebe in the last seasons. I really hate how she kept choosing Cole over her sisters (even though she 'ultimately' chose her sisters in the end - but by then the consequences were always so dire). She lied to them in Sleuthing with the Enemy. Irrational Phoebe hate makes me think if she wasn't all chasing after Cole in Deja Vu All Over Again Piper wouldn't have died, because Leo would be there. (again. I know. irrational Phoebe hate) But what really gets my goat - and it links into my next thought Cole gets a raw deal link up Cole Gets a Raw Deal because of Phoebe. Basically. (yes I get because of love). Phoebe totally screws over Cole. First, she could have/should have vanquished him. But She doesn't. Then (yes, they get all hoodwinked by Ian Buchanan), Cole begs her for the power stripping position and she's like "Omg, you're all evil, I just saw you kill a witch!" and then smashes the potion. then Cole gets possessed (and ultimately killed) by the Source via the Hollow, and this is where i get 100 percent irritated at ALL the sisters and especially Phoebe 1: Cole did not choose to become Source. Everyone knew up to that point, that Cole took the Hollow to save the Sisters and no one thought that Cole taking the Source's fireball would = him being the Source. 2: Up until "Long Live the Queen" it was pretty much stated that the Source was taking over Cole. Cole was saving/helping the sisters in little bits. COLE himself was still/always the innocent and they just lumped everything together. (forgetting, again, that Cole ultimately became what he did to save heir lives). 3: Phoebe doomed Cole to die and to become the Source. As stated by SourceCole and the Seer - Phoebe wasn't uber influenced by Evil Baby Spawn, or by Tonic or by anything else. It wasn't mentioned that losing Source Powers would kill Cole. Phoebe was seeing the exact same thing that we saw. The Wizard was pulling out the Sourceness, (so HE could become the new Source). Phoebe stopped him. Killed the Wizard. Took Cole's hand and made him take on ALL the powers of the source - then for seasons 5 through Avatar Cole (6?), everyone was all like WELL COLE RUINED PHOEBE'S LIFE, COLE WAS EVIL, COLE SHOULD LEAVE PHOEBE ALONE. No. Phoebe killed Cole and held his hand while he became Source. if Anyone shoulda been pissed it really should be Cole. back to why i hate Phoebe I hate the way the Show became Phoebe-ized. I always felt like the first 3 seasons, (even though it kinda focused on Prue), it ultimately balanced so it was one aspect of all the sisters and the ultimately came together. Phoebe was always the "focus" or the face, and everything (even wanting Utopia) was based on her (and let's not even ignore her whole Premotioning for Penis, because she wanted her little girl like instantly). I honestly truly felt, that the dynamic of Prue-Piper-Paige would have/could have worked out (because Paige was basically the new phoebe anyway), and probably would have had more gravitas to it (because no one said Piper couldn't/wouldn't act the same way she did losing Phoebe as she did Prue) vs. Phoebe being the one who lived. I wish that Wyatt was Melinda I really hated the hahaha you're a BOY! switch they made. I wish the "Ultimate Power" storyline would have been made different but not for the reasons you think I think that having that storyline (having another set of powerful witches - one that were evil) made sense. everything that the show told us, is that there was always balance. meaning that as Powerful as the Charmed ones were - there was always going to be an evil-powerful source out there. What I don't like is that Billie and Christie were it. I think the show missed the boat (or actually vanquished a potential story in season 1) by having an Evil Power of Three. I get Good conquers all but there should have been sort of a balance/symmetry of having 3 siblings have ultimate powers, even have a magic uber baby if you must and they ultimately face off. I dunno. it sounded better in my head. and I didn't like Billie or Christie, but boy did i like their powers heh there are more but i am on season 5 of a rewatch and I haven't seen this for AGES. so i'll add.
  9. (sigh). everyone who I like dies. Ned Stark, Drogo (eventually) Robb Stark I can't think of anyone in season three, but I bet there was something there, I'm forgetting, Martel, Shireen. Screw you Stannis. Like seriously, screw you. I am so lost in this show (and i've seen every episode), so I don't know why they are sacrificing this poor little girl, but i know it's for something stupid. And her friend just left (didn't even kidnap her, so it's like you suck too. So did the mother. I hate the red-haired woman). :( that was brutal. Poor Jorah has that greyscale leprosy thinger, so who knows how long he is for the world. (sigh). I am still trying to figure out why Martel's lover is all "lets get revenge!!" I get she's mad that he's dead - but Martel died in a trial by combat - that he volunteered to do. Like, get over it. Quickly. I like the daughters (where's the 4th?). I love Alexandre Siddig (hmm Dr. Bashir!) more of him please. (actually no. the longer y'all stay in pretty Dorne, the less chances you'll die). Arya is boring (and i'm confused - big shocker) about the perverted guy. bye bye Shireen. :(
  10. Dinna fasth yourself. I am only reading book 1 :) We can sit together and be unspoiled for season two. we can be be lonely together. (that sounds wrong but ya ken me meaning, right? )
  11. Okie dokes. I have to say that was really, really difficult to watch. And I kind of have a cast-iron stomach for these sort of things, and I had to watch it with my hands over my eyes, but peeking kinda the last two episodes. I am glad that I discovered the show, (and now I have 8 books to start to tackle), and I am intrigued to see where season two will take us. Reading a lot of the comments, I have to think - I'm not sure if BJR loves Jamie. I don't think so, I never got that impression. I think he wants to win, break, conquer, but I don't think there's any kind of closeted 'love' there. I found it intriguing (i think someone said 'poisoned' and that totally works) how BJR made himself basically look like Claire in one bits, even scrunching up his hair to be a bit curly at the bottom. Jamie said he was not going to react, and BJR was doing everything in his power to make him so. It's the the ultimate (sadistic) last word. So Claire is going to try to save the highlands. While pregnant. Yay. I always tend to say this to my best friend who teases me. I like me my bodice rippers. Especially historical. After 10 years of higher education, sometimes one doesn't want to read Shakespeare and Dickens and all of it, so I really like these kind of shows because it's like oo. okay. I can do without the squeamish, but I do applaud them for making me uncomfortable, because I feel that is an uncomfortable situation. With uncomfortable tactics. I do hope there's a balance between story telling, romance, the violence/uprising/whatevering. etc. as well. For someone who came in late. I got sucked in basically by the time Claire touched the stones, and i'm entrenched enough to watch season two. I do hope that there'll be others to chat with when it comes on (since a lot of ya'll seem to be leavin')
  12. why you cancel my Show, World? no fair!
  13. I hear you. I love Cirie, and quite frankly I don't know/buy if this "had" to happen to make the Jury make sense or whatever they made it out to be but it seriously messed up her game. I cried when she dropped her ball because I knew there was no way Amanda or Parvarti were going to take her to the finals. I think we were robbed of a really great Final Speech by Cirie. (and I also think a lot of what Cirie did in that season gets lumped to Parvarti). double bah. oh then my apologies to Dalton (thanks for that FYI). It just really irritated the snot out of me because HIIs have been around since Season 11, and Jeff never, ever not said it until that game - or since. bah.
  14. i think my biggest conspiracy theory was when Jeff did not announce this was not the last time to use the Idol. and what irritated me about it was that no one (not even Ross, Rob C(RHAP/Know It Alls), Dalton Ross) called him on it. (or if they did I totally don't remember). It just irked me because that was something that was always said and for it not to be said, it was like, seriously, dude? (I also have a big pout-on for Micronesia not being a Final 3). I honestly think these things should be announced sooner not like SURPRISE! (but i firmly believe Cirie wins that season if she is anywhere close to the finals so... some resentment there)
  15. and a conch shell :)
  16. Oho that's true. Ah well. Amber/Boston Rob were dating before the show? (Or Ces?)
  17. They are. but Jeff loves it so it's not going anywhere. I thought we escaped it this season, but smack. it's all the sobbing "I missed youuuu." that gets me. I mean I've overseas for a year in a country they didn't speak English, I was treated like I was a freak of nature, I didn't get to contract my parents for about my final 2-3 months, and I still didn't act the way these guys act on a game show. (i think i was more emotional getting a box of triscuits than seeing my mom). it was my bathroom break. It was a guaranteed go pee, wash hands, get snackage, and prepare for final tribal. (so for that, i do kind of miss it). but i loathed it. especially if it was a final 3 of a certain tribe so they didn't even know like 1/2 of the pre-bootouts.
  18. LOL that is mean.. it's true. though, eh?
  19. And I think it is very sad that Rob has pretty much closed the book on him ever playing Survivor again. Anytime it comes up he pretty much slams that door shut. Re: All Stars - if you listen to the Evolution of Strategy (all star chapter), he does go into why he reacted the way that he did, the things that he wanted to do, or wanted to target and thought he had more time (he would have pushed for Sue). and he had a theory (which is now pretty much a fact now) is that Episode 6-7 is when switch-ups happen. it was for Amazon (specifically), and it was again for All Stars, and had he made it, more than likely he would have been with 'safer' people. (and by safer, people who weren't gunning for him for being "smart") He also mentioned that being one of the smarter people (gameplay wise) on the island, rubbed Boston Rob the wrong way and grumped about it a lot. Being on the Chapera tribe really screwed him My personal feeling is the producers really hated Thailand to the point that they didn't want more people that they could get away with. we know about Brian (pricing himself out of it), and Shii Ann coming back (ugh). Never knew about Ken being an alternate. I don't think Big Ted was ever going to come back (Ghandia thing/Racist comments thrown in FTC). Helen is someone I am surprised that never got invited back again (that I can recall). I think the problem occurred that they screwed up in Africa. The folk tale was that part of the compensation for the final four screw up was being on All Stars. And even without that, you did have big personalities and "how could they not be there" guys in Lex-Ethan-Tom. (Though T-Bird & Kelly got screwed. I think they both should have been there somehow). If I were re-doing All Stars this is what I would have done Borneo: Richard Sue Australia Colby Tina Africa Ethan T-Bird/Kelly Marqueases Vecipa John/Neleh Thailand (Brian - somehow convince him not to be uber douchy) Helen Amazon Rob Deena Pearl Islands Rupert Jon That is 12 people who were the winners and most memorable people. Jenna doesn't get invited because of her mom, Sandra is removed because she was sick (her words) if she was the alternate, then I would add her). the 6 other people i would have invited back would have been literally, 1 per season. 3 girls, 3 guys. B: Wigglesworth, A: Varner (Skupin), AF: Lex, Or Tom, OR T-Bird, M: Boston Rob, T: (No one), Am: Heidi, Pearl Islands: Savage I think that cast would have been equally interesting, you have most of these players that were really strong game players, (a few "2nd-chances") and a majority of these people who did get far. There were some hard-er 'removals' (ie: Kathy). and Jerri etc, but i just have a feeling those people (minus Wigglesworth etc) would have gameplayed hard without this whole "ELIMINATE THE WINNERS. (you could also have a winners tribe here)
  20. next up: loved one visits. i'm okay with letters at the auction, but loved one visits can go away.
  21. I hated Terry. I still remember "Someone call the waambulance" actually I found it ironic when Mike's mom came on and he lost it and Jeff goes "there's nothing more better than getting your mama's love" (or something Jeffy) and I said out loud, "not according to Terry, Wife trumps Mom in his worldview" I think it had to have been Savage/Varner/Terry and thinking about it logically - Terry would be Savage, because Terry is "popular" Varner had the Power of Australia behind him. Though the Outcast thing is what makes Savage popular, I dont think that trumps Australia Outback power. I think Savage is 100 percent the lucky winner of the Mike Winning Sweepstakes (what I am curious about if the Winner of 31 is Male + IS the guy who lucked out i wonder if Jeff keeps that quiet? because that is quite the 2nd, 2nd chance)

Oohhh Thank you. I like that (and yah she's pretty :) and she was super happy to have been chosen)
  23. Cook Islands. I giggled so hard because i was like OH! Sundra/Becky still suck because it took Rodney and Carolyn less than an hour. You know - i would hope - if i were on the jury, i would take 'performance anxiety' into consideration. I know i would be freaked out if i had to make a fire for a chance for a million dollars. I would chalk it up, basically to test anxiety. you know how to do it, you see the things that you have to use to do it, and your mind goes horribly, horrendously blank. And it doesn't help that you have Jeff mocking you about it. (I swear, i would be the best/worst Survivor player out there, because I'd be all Sandra in challenges, but my mouth would get me into so much trouble if Jeff started with me, starting with and forever ending with "Shut up") regarding the show. I was really kinda hoping Carolyn would win. Like i had mentioned, she didn't bug me. Didn't (and never will) like the Love, and I thought we were blessedly going to avoid it. these advantages are really elaborate now. (I think i don't like it. I rather like the whole "you miss a leg, you get a do over, you get 2 balls to none lead) more of - you actually get to practice it for as long s you need (keith) or you get 30 minutes (Mike) irks for some reason and i don't know why. Jury Speeches... I don't know if i like this whole Dave approach to "HEY THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE FOR THE GUY I LIKE AND HERE IS WHY." that job should be for the people at the jury. if they can't speak up for themselves, the jury members shouldn't be "watch me try to save your game." Also cutting out opening/closing remarks need to stop, Show. we need them Not sad that Mike won, but just disappointed Carolyn didn't step up for the win either. Quite frankly - I would be happy never to see Dan again. like go away. seriously go away. its not about you. (which is why I wish Mike had just stuck with his guns and took the advantage). like. honestly. (but then we wouldn't have seen Dan basically vote himself out, so it's all good)

Greg Buis 16 years later? Please. please make this happen. also (sigh). Who is Monica?. Why don't I remember her? This is driving me insane, it's like Laura Morette from Blood vs Water. No clue who she was either.
