  1. I guess I’m sick because I laughed when the bank robber got plowed down by the truck, then rewound it to watch again, then laughed again. 🤣 Despite Hailey, I enjoyed the episode.
  2. Of course Max’s replacement has to be his antithesis. I think it would have been better if they had brought in someone who out-Maxed Max (plus was competent) and everyone loved him/her. 😄
  3. I’m enjoying the show as “shut off your brain” fun. I can’t wait to see the giant sloth shown in the previews. Yeah, I think the “sisters” are mother and daughter. I hope the lawyer half of the gay couple gets that car working. As someone from Louisiana (and other parts of the South), I am soooo glad that they didn’t have the cop and her son speak with exaggerated “Louisiana” accents. Not everyone from the South has a noticeable accent.
  4. My DVR recorded it too. I immediately noticed that the narrator wasn’t Andromeda and looked at the date. I turned it off because the narrator irritated me.
  5. It’s Michelle Forbes. I’ve been watching a lot of Indian movies lately so I wanted to follow that guy going back to his daughter’s wedding! 😏 I miss Dr. Kapoor. 😢
  6. Okay, who else said “Can’t get blood out of a turnip” when the lawsuit against the science fair girl was announced? 🤣😂
  7. Going back to the law school having to be in Atlanta, isn’t the firm aware that Jenny has a special needs child which would make attending school far away problematic? Same could be said for a single parent without a support system. That whole set-up just annoys me.
  8. Adam Rodriguez looks as hot as he did in CSI:Miami which debuted almost 20 years ago. 😛 Why does the law school the firm pays for have to be in Atlanta? Don’t get that. Love Cop Joe and Amy.
  9. Amen! Aunt Olu and Uncle Tunde couldn’t get off that couch either. Tunde was hilarious going over his landlord exit list with Abishola.
  10. The only way I would have glass fronted kitchen cabinets would be if the glass were frosted. Kitchen cabinets are for hiding 💩 when necessary!
  11. I read up on that British Mister/Surgeon thing some more after I posted, and it appears that the prior distinction between “surgeons” and “doctors” no longer exists (they both go to medical school).
  12. I guess Assistant Manager Norman Bates will become Sheila’s new partner in crime. He is creepy enough.
  13. I assume the head of the Lady Emily clinic was an Ob-Gyn so why was he referred to as “mister”? I know it must be a British thing like surgeons not being called “Doctor So and So,” but I wonder what the rationale was. Dr. Turner appears to be what we would call a general practitioner, and he gets the title “Doctor.”
  14. I’m not really clear on Sister Julienne’s plan to make money for Nonnatus House. Is the posh clinic going to hire the nuns from NH to work there? The fact that they called some (?) nurses “sisters” muddles things more. It looks as if the plan goes pear shaped next week in any case. Hem length aside, I liked the habit Sister Hilda was wearing best. I liked the rolled collar.
  15. I didn’t know it was possible, but Friday I beat my record of muttering “F*ck off, Ridge” while watching an episode of B&B. 😏
  16. You are comparing apples and oranges. I have an MA in TESOL so I know about the industry. I wasn’t talking about teaching at an English mill. They said they were teaching at an “international school” and teaching specific subjects (not English). Very different from teaching with no experience as a college grad.
  17. Yeah, this is HGTV after all. We don’t know what is real or scripted. 🤷🏼‍♀️
  18. Yeah, I wasn’t sure how they got jobs in an “international school” since those usually hire people with valid teaching certificates and a degree in their subject area plus experience.
  19. I like Brooke and I wanted to slap her into next week today. I love that blue blouse Quinn has been wearing.
  20. I’d make a great team with Dr. Marcel! 😏
  21. Yes, it was! I carefully read the credits. I loved the Baron riding in the little car thinking he controlled it with his mind. 😄 Doll Nadja sighting! Lazlo swallowed the harmonica. Colin Robinson just discovered “That’s what she said!” Gossipy gargoyles! 🤣😂🤣
  22. I know, right? I used to work as an attorney in a state mental hospital and every patient wasn’t hauled in in cuffs by police. The show has improved with the absence of April and Natalie. Also, the new doctors are a plus as is Steven Weber.
  23. Yeah, I thought it was a good episode. There was a focus on Kim’s post-trauma life, but also a focus on solving a case.
  24. The Boden/Hermann scene made me cry. I love Eamonn Walker and how he portrays the Chief. 😢
