  1. I almost would prefer a long-lost daughter situation with Bill and Sally. I mean, if Luke and Leia can get past the crush and the kiss... no problem, right? :-) Liam got himself into this stupid, endless situation and I'm all out of sympathy for him at this point.
  2. I like CH but without Spectra or Thomas, this just seems odd. (And I'm ignoring any sparks with Bill - that is just... no. Sally is smarter than that, right?)
  3. I'm not into vampire stuff but my first experience with NP was on GH, where he played Luke Spencer's son Ethan. He could be charming but also had a terrible tendency to be smug and smirk-y. Hopefully he's outgrown the worst of it. I wasn't impressed with his recent turn on Once Upon a Time either but all things considered, don't really blame him for that. :-) The video clip had me slightly encouraged, the two at least seem to have a decent rapport.
  4. They really need some new photos for these reboot articles.
  5. Go to the link below and put your zip code in. And yes, you might need to have an antenna hooked up to your tv for it, as many cable companies don't carry the local digital sub-channels. Worth it to check anyway. https://antennatv.tv/shows/
  6. It's funny, I noticed those errors and mentally attributed them to a non-native English speaker. Not sure why. Still, what they lacked in editing skills they made up for with enthusiasm. It's the internet.
  7. I would need to go back and rewatch but I thought Dan said they could qualify for a FEMA loan because of the disaster declaration? Well, technically it would be an SBA loan but it's part of the disaster assistance.
  8. I'm hoping they did lots of chem testing with the leads, because I agree Liz and Max are crucial. It sounds like this version is going to be more X-Files-ish though, which could work out okay.
  9. I'm glad most people were (sort of) satisfied with this finale. TBH, I turned on the television to watch AoS live and caught Regina about to be crowned and I'm pretty sure I had a rage blackout right then. Seeing Emma, Hook and baby Hope helped a little though and they're the only reason I didn't just delete the last 8 dvr'd episodes. (I may still go back and watch them at some point. Or not...)
  10. I would have too. Still, this episode alone could generate enough story for half the 13 episodes they'll get the summer after this. (Or 1 - which is just as likely.) I'm glad they made Mack Coulson's successor. He's the only one who has any kind of moral compass. FitzSimmons were willing to potentially sell out the whole world for each other, May and Daisy for Coulson and they made it look like Elena was too willing to kill (wrongly, IMO but whatever...). AP has been awesome this season and I'll miss Talbot a lot, not something I could have pictured saying at the beginning.
  11. No, my screen name is just a name. I'm not very creative in that sense. Ditto with the avatar, I was taking an art history class and spending tons of time on museum websites. If the producers were smart, they would work some cameos in to woo the fans of the original series. Old Max as a cop alongside new Max would be fun.
  12. There has already been one mod note about moving on from Dan and Roseanne's career choices. The Conners are where they are. Please move on. Personal anecdotes about the opiod discussion should go in the Kitchen Table topic. We will be going back later and moving some posts. Expect some off-topic posts to be removed also.
  13. Why anticipate? Or why a reboot? I know a lot of people were hoping for more of a revival than a reboot. I was open to either. I'm not totally sold on the casting myself and this is the kind of show where the chemistry makes or breaks it for me. I'm willing to give it a chance because I like sci-fi on my tv. And it will be a change from the comic book shows.
  14. Thanks for the link. I was wondering how on earth the CW was going to fit all those shows in. So, we have a bit of a wait ahead...
  15. One store where I shop has cold rotisserie chickens (and lots of other deli stuff) on the shelves right across from the deli section. (Clever marketing.) Though I do think that there is a special SNAP thing where if you are homeless or live somewhere without kitchen facilities, you can get hot food but I don't know the details.
  16. I always hate it when they make me feel sorry for Steffy but the first person Liam talked to shouldn't have been Ridge, it should have been Steffy. He did owe her the information that he filed the annulment papers. It's weird but I don't recall many (any?) soap storylines where the leading man actually dumped his pregnant wife. But then I watched mainly NBC and ABC soaps, so that might be thing with the CBS soaps? It was nice to see Raya but Rick was awfully surly. Is there some nuance I missed? Karla looked glowing though.
  17. While discussions of cable news, sitcoms, unemployment, poverty, etc. are fair game thanks to the episode, it's time for the personal opinions and anecdotes to go to Small Talk or the Kitchen Table - unless your comment is about the characters themselves. From this point on, off-topic posts are subject to removal. Thanks!
  18. According to my daughter who used to live in NYC, a lot of people rent cars to drive. I suppose on a busy weekend you could come out ahead. Or maybe they put paying the car payment ahead of the internet bill, juggling month to month which bills to pay?
  19. Renewed for a Season 2. http://deadline.com/2018/05/final-space-renewed-season-2-tbs-olan-rogers-conan-obrien-1202383813/
