  1. Since I missed the first go round of that, I'd take it over another Hope/Liam/Wyatt - or anyone/Liam/Wyatt. They are so much better as brothers in arms/mischief/whatever.
  2. That conversation made me really dislike Brooke. I'm sure the kid is so happy about not being allowed back home for vacations and holidays, etc. because of his dad's girlfriend. (What was her excuse when Ridge was with Katie?) I'm guessing he will be back as a SORAS'ed teen with a major chip on his shoulder? That's original... /sarcasm
  3. I thought Steffi was just weird. Even with flashbacks, I could see no chemistry with Liam. OTOH, while the conversations with Ridge were tiresome (and hypocritical from what you all said) I did like Ridge having a daughter on the canvas and thought TK was good in most of their scenes. Is it confirmed that KM is returning full-time? Because that would be a drag. ETA: Wait, so Rick/Steffi were really a thing? The CEO of FC and the daughter of Satan himself? How did that go?
  4. I can see where an assassin might find having a double useful, as in establishing alibis or whatever. They could re-film the rooftop scene to one where the double was there off camera, with Malcolm and Thea. A Ra's minion grabs real Sara to be used at some future date (to keep Nyssa in line?) and the story proceeds from there. Which would put MM in league with Ra's for plot reasons but that wouldn't be the dumbest thing this show has asked us to swallow. But personally I would like a time travel, AU Sara whose timeline diverges at some point close to the start of the show, so that Sara would be similar to our Sara but not. It would be interesting to see how everyone would handle it, and it would make sense that this Sara might find it easier to live in a different city than close to her AU family.
  5. At least there have been several scenes where Ivy has expressed her discomfort/displeasure about working with Quinn. I like Ivy with Wyatt, actually but really, really hope (hah!) they never go that way romantically. Wyatt and Liam, not triangle material.
  6. No, I was talking about KKL going off to do the dancing show. But actors taking long months away from their shows isn't my favorite thing. Tony Geary on GH messed up many a good storyline by just disappearing. I'm okay waiting for things like maternity leave or unexpected things like LG's accident.
  7. :-) I'm kind of OCD about things being symmetrical, so the dress was distracting - but a very pretty color. I'm about 3 months shy of a full year watching B&B so I have no history with Brooke one way or another but it's really noticeable how she just doesn't fit very well into the current stories. In fact, when she came back they all came to a screeching halt and after a while, I just quit watching. The Maya story got me back but I'm mainly here to see how Caroline handles it and unless something else comes along, I'll probably get bored again. (Lesson for actors - maybe don't take 3 months off to do other projects?) I did love the scene (and the dynamics) with Wyatt, Ivy and Quinn - and Carter, though it was better without him, poor guy. ETA: Oh, really liked the scene with Ridge and Pam, too. AM looked great. Everyone looked great, actually. Very sparkly show yesterday.
  8. Maybe someone will schedule her a three month intensive with Sensei Ping. :-)
  9. If it is Felicity, and she and Oliver are together on Arrow, it could be a slightly less cliched way to keep some conflict in the relationship. ETA: It would be possible for her to consult on the spin-offs and still support TA remotely. Especially for someone who can hack into the feeds she would need. Adding... If the shows are going to be connected via some storylines, having a common infrastructure to share information could make sense. Personally I think Lyla would be better from an action standpoint but none of the shows execute formal missions do they? Unless that is going to change? For example, I'm all for Clancy Brown on my screen any time but I don't think he originated on Arrow.
  10. Is it terrible of me that I wish they could have written LG's accident into the script somehow? Put her in ICU where Ridge can hold her hand and Rick can skulk in the hall... something, anything. :-)
  11. I actually do understand this. Cutting ties with a toxic family can have the sad consequence of losing touch with some people who don't deserve it. If Maya had contacted Nicole, she would have had to deal with the rest of her family too and was obviously not ready or willing to do that. And it might have made the home situation worse for Nicole, since as a kid she wouldn't have known what issues to avoid bringing up. (And until recently she was a minor, so Maya couldn't have taken her with anyway.) Adding... It also would have been a huge risk to the life she built for herself. Not the materialistic stuff we've seen lately, but the emotional equilibrium it would have taken years to achieve. Not saying it was right exactly but self preservation (the normal kind) is pretty powerful. Note: I watched a few days and got bored again, so I haven't seen the last few. My comment is more general than specific to today's show.
  12. I never thought of blood but it makes sense. The lighting made whatever it is look white to me, not metallic.
  13. Are there swords that are red and white? I guess it could be a sword stick. ETA: blood and weird lighting - I obviously know nothing about weapons. :-) Completely changes the way you interpret how the woman is holding it out in front as she walked.
  14. At about 55 seconds into the promo there is a woman walking with a red-tipped cane? walking stick? Not a comics person, so is there a blind character it might be?
  15. I'm sorry, but not even Doctor Who references will make Ray interesting to me. Although if the nanobots make him crazy enough to go all evil and dark and then have to be Oliver level of angsty about the things he's done, it might help. It didn't hurt Roy. (Although I've always had a soft spot for Roy.) Maybe I'm missing something but why didn't Lance just arrest Laurel? Did she get a free pass on the vigilante thing?
  16. I might dvr a few episodes if Caity isn't Sara but given my complete lack of interest in anything BR is in, probably no. Sara trumps Ray Palmer, so in that case I'll watch until they (the EPs) inevitably alienate me. :-) Although Arthur Darvill (and time travel!) might make that decision much harder.
  17. It's interesting that TM has figured out it needs to recruit allies. (And that the show has finally been specific about it.) I wonder if it was just the next logical strategy or if she learned it by observing what Samaritan was doing? Unlike Samaritan, TM really only has the irrelevant numbers as potential assets (as well as the previous PoI numbers). Overall I liked the episode but not feeling the Iris/John romance. Harper was annoying but it felt like she was meant to be.
  18. I'm kind of bitter because parts of last night's show were very, very good. I even liked Laurel dealing with Palmer (where did that come from and why haven't I seen that Laurel in 3 seasons?) and Deadshot, Diggle and Lyla were amazing. Oliver and Felicity got to talk like adults (for a few minutes anyway). Even the parts that were awful (that dumb ass flying suit and its smug inhabitant) were fairly well done - in the sense that Oliver got a tiny win after getting the crap kicked out of him. Someone needs to get Stephen Amell his own show... Oh, wait... (sorry, couldn't resist) ETA: I missed the first 10 -15 minutes, so obviously didn't get the full Ray Palmer impact.
  19. There were a few genuine feeling moments yesterday between Maya and her sister but a lot of their dialog sounded like it came from a FAQ for the families of transgendered individuals. Which is okay, I guess. Better that than some of the stuff I've seen on this show. :-)
  20. Didn't Carly have to beg for a kidney for Joss, too? So they could throw shades of B.J. into the mix?
  21. I would have really disliked a Roxy transgender story, especially since Roxy was already a campy character and I don't think they could have resisted making it even campier. The only good thing about it would have been saving Clint from losing the Rex paternity sweepstakes. (Note: IK no doubt would have done a great job, if they would have allowed her to give more than a one note performance.)
  22. It will be interesting to see Caroline's reaction. As someone with 2 moms, she has to be sensitive to LGBT issues. I'd love it if they did become friends but I don't need that, as long as Caroline doesn't use it to trash Maya. ETA: It was before my time but didn't Caroline have Maya's past investigated? There's going to be a lot of retconning going around...
  23. If the show is advertising a transgender story, then they probably won't go with the intersex angle but I wish they would. They'd have to fudge a few statistical and medical facts but better that than retconning Maya's baby and everything that has happened since she came on the show. Because Maya was still fantasizing about being the Forrester matriarch. She looks delusional and/or deceitful if she knows that can never happen (biologically). ETA: normally I wouldn't say anything about bio kids (a pet peeve that they aren't considered "real") but matriarch kind of implies popping out little Forrester babies in my mind. Inconsistent, I know! I did watch yesterday's show - the first in a month or so - but I may wait until I see how they are handling things to tune in same day.
  24. Maybe Maya assumed the identity of "Maya Avant, transgender woman" (for whatever reason) and now she's between a rock and a hard place. If she comes clean, she loses Rick, if she doesn't, she still could lose him? I still haven't had a chance to watch today's show, so I don't know if she admitted to being Myron or not...
  25. Yes, this is closer to what I was thinking but couldn't quite put into words.
