  1. I didn't get it either. The last place was PERFECT and cost the same as the first. They got a balcony, pool and oceanfront, but no dishwasher. So that's why they didn't choose it??!! And I wanted to smack her because she agreed to house 1 because HE made a sacrifice of moving with her?? What? You're married!! That's what you do! But if quitting my job that I didn't like, living in an oceanfront condo (with or without a stupid dishwasher) and not having to pay for anything is a sacrifice, then sign me up!!!
  2. The light fixture was horrible! It was way too horsey! I love me a corgi!! I was lucky enough to find one in a shelter. :)
  3. Was the mini machine still running the simulations against mini Samaritan in this episode? As of last week, the machine was still at 0 and Samaritan was past the 10,000,000,000 mark. The machine just needs 1 win...
  4. Maybe they need to thaw out a farmer. Djimon's "greenhouse" looked like the all the plants had been dead for the last 2000 years. Wouldn't Ben's mom just assume by now that Ben had been eaten by the abbies? I still want to know how they get gasoline, electricity, all their clothes, etc. I don't think Jason Patric can save this POS show. Someone needs to thaw out Michael Scofield (from Prison Break). That dude ALWAYS has a plan.
  5. I thought it was a California thing too...but So Cal
  6. I knew Root would be the first one down! Yes, technically the 2nd, but Elias wasn't really part of the team. RIP Root...you were such a good villian, but turned into an even better hero! This episode was beyond awesome! Who knew a network TV show could be so action packed and violent?! I am so going to miss this show!! Fusco will survive. They can't take him out. They already did the "dead detective single parent" with Carter so I think he's safe. He might need to change his identity, but he'll live. If Shaw survives, she'll end up on the Samaritan side because she has no other choice. I'm torn on John or Finch. Only one of them will make it. Will they somehow be in a stand off against each other? Or will Finch die and John ends up homeless on the subway again beating up punks because he has no purpose? Or will John die and Finch lives out the rest of his life in prison while all these deaths eat away at him? Knowing how terrible Finch feels when one person dies, I can't imagine the guilt he's going to have when he can no longer try to save everyone. Or will they both die together? Thelma and Louise style? Why has ME never been Emmy nominated for this show? He should just for the that awesome monologue. "I wasn't talking to you." Brillant delivery! The entire scene!
  7. Thank you. I figured he made some money with Nathan, but I didn't think they ever fully explained his extreme wealth.
  8. I agree about too much going on in this episode - I really wish they would have gotten a full season. I know a lot of this show is unrealistic and I'm fine with that, but Shaw getting from South Africa to Texas in a week with literally just the clothes on her back, was probably the most unbelievable. I have a feeling Root will be the first one down. I think Fusco will survive.
  9. Florida couple didn't bother me too much. She reminded me so much of Michelle Williams (the actress). I liked the kitchen.
  10. Did they ever explain how Finch became soooooo rich?
  11. I just watched my favorite buyer ever! I wish HGTV would hire him as a consultant to go with EVERY couple when they go hunting. He was on Beachfront Bargains. He and his wife were an older couple (married for 40 years) and they were looking for a vacation home in Long Branch, NJ. He wasn't mean or snarky, just totally realistic! They both had NY accents - her more than him. All 3 places they looked at were very nice and all updated. They literally just needed to bring their bathing suits and a toothbrush. They go into the first condo and the wife starts complaining about the electric stove top and he says, "Nah, nothing wrong wit it. It's fine." Then they go into the one and only bedroom. She starts complaining that it's too small. After rolling his eyes, he replies, "It's large enough. You're only sleeping here. C'mon." On to the next condo...wife complains about how she doesn't like the kitchen cabinets and wants to replace them. Husband says, "They're fine, they'll work." They go out onto the patio. Wife complains about the street noise and living on the busy road. He replies, "We're not living on the road, we live INSIDE." Ha! The last place they drive to is 10 miles from their desired area. She's complaining, "We're driving so far! Where are we?!" He says, "Relax, relax. Just relax." I don't think she complained about the interior. Just the drive and it was $50k over their max limit.
  12. I finally got around to watching this episode. Was never a fan of Dr. Downey, but the bedside scene at the end with Dr. Rhodes was done very well by both actors. Luckily for Downey, Halstead was not around when he died since Halstead doesn't know what a DNR means. I'm not really into the TB storyline or the Goodwin's husband leaving or anything involving Dr. Halstead or Dr. Manning. Choi is great as is Dr. Charles. Glad Clark (Pops) is back on my screen; however, I wish he would have gone back to the firehouse. I wonder if he's going back to Code Black next season.
  13. I agree!!! He is so funny! He did hilarious recaps for CSI:Cyber too. I hated that show sooo much, but only watched it so I could read OttoD's recap!
  14. I wait to hear what they do for a living, then I fast forward until they are standing in the driveway of the first house. I, too, ff through the commercials and recaps. I watch which house they pick and how much they paid and then I delete. So, yeah, about 10 mins. If they have a super annoying voice and/or looking at outdated condos, I can whittle it down to about 3 mins. And HHR, I do the same, and ff through the construction/drama until the final reveal. So, HHR usually is about 15 mins.
  15. I agree about the Lancaster's wife teeth - they were distracting. Obviously, they didn't bother her too much because she was ALWAYS smiling! Tonight's HH was in Denver. I agree about not buying a house to cater to your pet, but if I had a dog and the option of having a fenced in yard for my pet vs no yard and being close to the bars, like the woman tonight, I'll choose the yard every single time! Leashing a dog multiple times so they can go to the bathroom, gets old real quick, especially in the winter.
  16. This episode was pretty lame. I guess because I already knew what the backstory was, etc. There's no mystery or suspense to it. They're back to the reckonings. I'll probably watch a couple more episodes to get my Jason Patric fix and then I'm out.
  17. Jenny drove me crazy!! She was such a diva and waaaay to into herself. She was sooooo annoying about everything!! I would think she needs to step up her game A LOT as a beauty and fashion blogger because I was not impressed with her style at all. I knew as soon as they mentioned house 3 was in Bel Air, they (she) would choose that one. I did like the staircase, but did it really need to cost almost their entire original budget?! I liked that they made the bonus room the master, but I agree with everyone else, the bathroom, closet, dressing area was awful!!!!! Those mirrored doors were so expensive and gaudy! I think it would have looked better if they just did 4 mirrored doors - 2 on each side closest to the back wall. Also, I wouldn't have wanted it so wide open to the bedroom. I don't want to hear/see someone brushing their teeth or getting dressed, etc while I'm in bed. Everything was just wrong between the layout, the vanity placements, them as a couple, etc. I LOVED the shower room though! That is one of my dream house requests; however, I would have put in a window or skylight or both :) I can't imagine them being married for very long. He doesn't even have his stuff in HER closet! Am I the only one that questioned why was Michael with her EVERY time she opened her mouth? Then when she was bitchin' about getting dust in her hair outside, I thought to myself, "Why don't you pull it back and/or put a hat on like a normal person would?!" Run, Michael, Run!!!
  18. I've watched since Day 1 as well, and have no idea what LokSat was. Actually, since season 7, I've been confused. I wish the ending was totally the opposite. I would have preferred to have both Castle and Beckett die on the kitchen floor. The final minutes of the show would be the entire rest of the cast (Espo, Ryan, Martha, Hailey, Lainey, Alexis, Captain Gates, Jenny, the other ME, etc) mourning them at their graveside service.
  19. John Miller / John Baron PR guy sounded just like Trump, used the same phrases as Trump, bragged about how great Trump is and we are supposed to believe that pretend John Miller isn't Trump? Lol! Isn't his son's name Baron too? Not a fan of the Latina correspondent at all. She.was.awful!!
  20. Looking forward to season 2 starting so I can read your weekly recap :)
  21. Is it written somewhere in WM's agent agreement that he has to do the same things in future projects that he did in Prison Break? Working with Dom, breaking out of prison in Resident Evil, Captain Cold sacrificing himself like Scofield sacrificing himself in The Final Break. I really wish it was Heatwave that got killed off or better yet, the Hawks and Vandal Savage. Is it just me, or does anyone else think of the Time Council scene in "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure" whenever they show Rip standing in the center of the room with time masters? I started watching this show for WM, but I think I'm out for season 2. The writing isn't strong enough and the Hawks and Vandal Savage (characters and actors) really bring the show down.
  22. I thought this ep was kind of a clunker; it might be the first one that I thought was meh. I did like the outtakes at the end, but I also thought it was odd since they just had the behind the scenes ep recently. I'm over Erica's singing too. If I'm not mistaken though, she was a professional singer before she got the Erica role.
  23. Chicago couple...I'm assuming the previous owner died in the house and was a total hoarder. Anyway...I liked the kitchen except for the different colored island. I hope this mismatch cabinetry trend ends soon. I didn't like the brass fixtures either, especially since they had ss appliances. I loved the tall black kitchen window! I agree about the DR table; I wasn't impressed and it was way overpriced! The dining room light fixture was horrible!!!! Besides it being ugly, it took the focus away from the table they were so proud of. The bathrooms came out nice except for the brass fixtures. I was puzzled by the $5000 black and white tile. The bathroom wasn't huge so I don't know why it cost so much. You can find that same style at Home Depot and it's quite inexpensive. I wonder what happened to the first contractor too. Overall, I wondered why they spent $190k in remodeling costs on that $300k house? It looked like it was next to a multi unit on the one side. Why wouldn't they raise their original budget and find a house that didn't need as much renovation? Finally, the wife needs to tone down her makeup; she was pretty, but she would look prettier if she exposed her natural beauty.
  24. I would not move to Seattle just for the 0.0000001% chance that Victor and Mary could be my neighbor!
