  1. I'm absolutely watching this show on my own without my kids!
  2. Yes, Panto is the son of Jeppum and brother of Litzibitz. Didn't Litzibitz say that the boy was the son of the other people that were attacking them? Attacking them because they thought THEY had taken the boy and Panto went to find Dirk Gently in order to bring the boy back?
  3. I got the impression that he deployed his primary at the right time - they just didn't see it immediately because it didn't deploy correctly. It looked like he was kind of spinning uncontrollably after that, so maybe he had trouble releasing it? Once he released it, he was pretty close to the ground, but it seemed like he could've had time to attempt to deploy his reserve, but it sounded like he didn't - we don't know why.
  4. Yeah, but she made it sound like she came up with that lie on the spot, instead of having it planned out ahead of time. Maybe I just interpreted it wrong.
  5. She seemed to be amused to be taken for a prostitute by the other women! She certainly didn't do anything to correct their misunderstanding! Also, how did she spend all that time preparing for her return to Jamie and not come up with a cover for where she'd been all this time??
  6. Totally agree about the CIA woman. Her character and aggressive behavior just doesn't seem realistic to me. And is her conversations with Ian supposed to highlight sexual harassment, flipped around? She keeps making really inappropriate comments to him. I don't like it! Also, the character of Jess, just doesn't make sense to me. I get that her husband going missing is hard, but her character acts like she does NOT UNDERSTAND the situation at all? How can she be married to someone in the Army and not understand things being classified, needing need-to-know, and that bad things can happen? She's acting like she had no idea her husband was in the military and suddenly he's gone and she's like "WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME??" It makes no sense! Especially since they have kids that aren't THAT young, so she's been with him for a while. I get being MAD at the situation, but she should at least understand the situation by this point, right?? I'm intrigued by the story. I'll keep watching for now. I'm liking SEAL Team better though.
  7. Glad this show is back! I had forgotten that Bandon was evil. Do we know what he's doing? I didn't follow all that him and his little cult were up to. I'm a fan of Malese Jow and I also recognized Vanessa Morgan.
  8. I just have to say how happy I am they are re-airing these in the States! I was watching Heartland on Netflix the first time it aired and had just missed it. So glad season 10 is airing again and now I can finally catch up! Of course season 11 is airing on Canada, so I'm behind again, but that's okay. I liked this episode. I'm glad Georgie was going to do the right thing with Sam and that the coach overheard them arguing. And when are Lou and Mitch going to just BE TOGETHER already?? Anyone know what happened to the actor playing Peter? Is there a reason outside the show they had them get divorce? And now we never see him.
  9. This would make the most sense, except the Sarek in her head specifically said he was talking to her telepathically (which he apparently could do with the help of his katra) AND even commented that it was difficult to communicate with her in this manner from so far away. Also, seriously, Michael is a terrible Starfleet Officer. She mutinied against her captain and then just totally fails at her job to capture T'kuvna (or whatever his name is). They have this whole discussion about how they DON'T want to kill him because he'd become a martyr to the Klingon cause and then the second he stabs the captain, Michael's all like "DIE DIE DIE!" I dislike her character so much...
  10. So I finally got around to watching this. I think my expectations were sooooooo low, that I actually didn't hate it. I DID hate the Klingons though. There are multiple things wrong with them: Too much makeup: Can't make facial expressions Too big teeth: Can't talk Klingon language: They didn't actually TEACH the actors Klingon, or at the VERY LEAST, what they were saying, so they just sound like they are reciting lines and have no clue what they mean - HUGE fail. Also, Michael isn't particularly likeable, which will make this series a little challenging to get into. The other characters (besides the Klingons) are decent though.
  11. So I LOVED this episode and I'm sooooooo glad they actually showed us Claire and Jamie reuniting, even if they aren't getting into the meat of it until the next episode. But I am also disappointed that NO ONE addressed how the stones work and the fact we know Geillis ended up further back in time when she went through the stones in 1968 than when Claire went through the stones in 1945. Seems like a huge plot hole that they just decided to conveniently ignore!
  12. She was probably trying to contact The Machine. :P
  13. In the season 2 finale, Claire, Brianna, and Roger witness Geillis go through the stones, and Claire knows that Geillis arrived before she did, despite leaving after her. My only guess as to why they think time is moving at the same rate is because Claire spent 3 years in the past and arrived "home" 3 years after she left. But that doesn't mean that the stones drop you off in a linear fashion (which we already know they don't). Also, side note, Geillis changed her name upon arrive in the past. In the "present" her name is Gillian. I don't think this is true - Geillis looks to be in her 20s when she passes through the stones in 1968 - there's no way she passed through the stones in the 1940s (or earlier) to explain her presence in 1745. She would've been a child. Plus Claire found her notebook in 1968 where she was researching the stones and how to travel through them. She thought a sacrifice was required, which is why she murdered her husband before traveling into the past. I think it's safe to assume she only made one trip - 1968 to sometime before 1745.
  14. Totally agree with this. Not only did it not make sense that the Earl wouldn't had a fit as soon as his "virgin" bride showed up pregnant, but there's no way he wouldn't have slept with her at least a few times! He didn't really seem like the kind of guy who would allow his marriage to go unconsummated.
  15. THIS! If Geneva never had sex with the old Earl, why the F didn't have raise a ruckus as soon as she turned up pregnant?? He would've thrown her out on her ass in two seconds flat. This made ZERO sense that he waited until after he gave birth to flip out. And how much of an idiot is Geneva that she didn't have sex with her husband at least ONCE (especially once she realized she was pregnant) to at least convince HIM that he was the father?? Terrible planning on her part. Also, why do Claire & company think that time is moving at the same speed in the past as it is in the present? And even if it is, why do they think that when Claire goes through the stones again, she'll arrive 20 years after she left (assuming 20 years have passed)? They just witnessed Geillis go through the stones in 1968 and they know she ended up further in the past than when Claire originally arrived after going through the stones in 1945! What makes them think Claire won't also end up further in the past, just like Geillis?
  16. I went into this blind and just watched it because I didn't really have anything else to watch and heard it was better than the CW's Valor. I liked it, but I haven't watched any of the other shows mentioned here (The Unit, Strike Back, etc). Plus I have no military experience, so I have no idea how realistic any of it was or not. I thought it was decent and I'll keep watching for now.
  17. Ugh, I really felt for Brittany during this episode. Not only was Jax a complete ass to her, but her mother was all "Brittany! Just apologize!" No wonder Brittany lets Jax walk all over her with her mother as an example and encouraging her to be a doormat! I'm glad Brittany decided to stay behind, but I'm not surprised these two idiots are still together. And my guess is Brittany is making more of an effort to change for Jax than the other way around. At almost 40, Jax is too stuck in his ways to change.
  18. I'm going to just ignore some of the "huh?" parts of this and just list the things I loved in this finale: Stiles & Derek's versions of how they got together Stiles trying to limit Lydia and Jackson's reunion Argent Family Reunion! Gerard finally getting what he deserved Argent and Melissa Mountain Ash! Scott's little speech that included a reference to Allison and how far him and Argent have come together
  19. Discovery started late of course so my DVR didn't catch it all. CBS is really hitting it out of the park with this one, huh?
  20. The biology teacher turned out to be an Alpha because her entire pack was killed - she was the only one of her pack left, so that's why she's an Alpha now.
  21. Brittany needs to get out of this awful relationship as quickly as she can! Jax is such a huge asshole and control freak! The fact that he keeps trying to hold over her heads the things he's offered her if abhorrent. First the boob job and now his generosity with her family. It's not being generous if he's expecting something in return. And it seems like the thing he's expecting is full obedience from Brittany. She needs to RUN!
  22. I like the theme. I like that they went back to an orchestra. That was one of the things I hated the most about Star Trek: Enterprise. Their theme was terrible and then they somehow made it even worse. This theme seems more like Star Trek.
  23. This is how I understood this too. Liam is the only one that Scott has actually turned, so he's Scott's only TRUE Beta that he might have a parent/child relationship with. Everyone else that is part of Scott's "pack" are really just adopted - Malia, Lydia, Styles, and even (to some extent) Mason. He didn't turn any of them, so while they are part of his pack, none of them are his Betas.
  24. The narrator might be my favorite "character"!!
