I think in this universe, zombies aren't dead, but infected. Remember, Ravi is looking for a cure. Liv believes she might be cured of her zombism someday, and therefore feels like she is still human, just infected with the zombie virus. So killing Blaine would be killing a person, since they believe zombies aren't technically dead.

Ugh, was not a fan of this finale. I wish they would just make up their minds with Klaus and make him evil or not evil, but stop being so wishy-washy on how evil he actually is. If he's just a bad guy, let him be a bad guy! Totally agree with the comments about Esther and how it makes ZERO sense that she would try to save the children she's been trying to kill for the past thousand years (or however long it's been since she changed her mind about them). I could MAYBE see her want to save Freya though since Freya isn't a vampire. But they definitely made it seem like she gave a crap about her other children, which makes no sense. Also, maybe it's because I'm a mom, but I'm totally bummed that Hope has been separated from her mother AGAIN. I don't see how this will ever have a happy ending because how will Klaus and Hayley ever forgive each other and be able to share custody with Hope like I want?? And I get that Rebekah hates Klaus and all, but she raised Hope for the past 6 months! How can she just up and leave?? And leave that baby with a monster like Klaus???

I know it hasn't been explained yet, but if Kai really did astral project, how exactly would he have gotten Bonnie's blood back to the 1903 prison world?? I didn't think they could physically take or leave things through astral projection - just interact with whatever was already there...

I think Karen just got a phone call about something, right? And Ricky Whittle is a main character on The 100, so not sure if he'll be around for Mistresses or not this year.

I liked this episode, but I don't know how I missed that bit about two of those missing kids being part of the "sacrifices." Wow, I'm slow! So glad I read this thread, haha. I didn't mind Liv's mothering, though I do agree, it's not really consistent with what a very pregnant woman or new mom's brain would be like! Also, why does EVERYONE get spray tans except Liv?? And How is the Police Captain getting his hair to look like that (black with grey at the temples)? I'm confused! ALSO, since they are zombies and presumably dead, does their hair grow? Do they have dead skin? You'd think you'd just need to dye your hair once and get a spray tan once and bet set, right?

Okay, I'm sorry if this has already been convered, but can someone clarify a few things for me? The newspaper clipping from the future was from 2024, right? Are we supposed to believe that that is when Flash and Eobard went back in time and Barry's mom died? Essentially that Eobard is from 2024? That's only 10ish years in the future, so does that mean there's a young Eobard running around somewhere in our timeline?

I think I agree with everyone's assessment of this show. I'll give it a few more episodes, assuming I don't get behind on my other shows, but so far, it hasn't wow'd me. Totally with you here. I couldn't tell if the radio astronomer was the same person as the nurse either! If she was, then she certainly changed careers pretty radically. And if she's not the same person, then they should've transitioned differently to make that more clear. Show one of the other characters first or something so we're not so confused.

I'm new to the site, so first of all, hi! I'm so glad to have found you all since I'm addicted to TV and RHOBH is my guilty pleasure! So many spot on observations have already been made and I probably don't need to repeat how evil and malicious Kim is and how stupid Brandi is. Let's just hope these two aren't on next season. Although watching just Kyle, LVP, Rinna, and Eileen probably would be boring since they'd just get along all the time for the most part!
