  1. Yeah, do we know why Ty was missing from so many episodes this season? Was the actor just busy doing other things? Or is he trying to reduce his commitment to this show? I love Amy, Jack, Tim, and Georgie, but the show just isn't the same without Ty! Amy and Ty are the core of this show for me!
  2. Renewed for Season 12! http://www.cbc.ca/heartland/blog/season-12-absolutely
  3. They did share one brief scene - when Angela showed up on the Jupiter with a gun to take down the Robot. John tries to talk her out of it and then stands aside as she starts firing.
  4. I don't think they'll ever be able to get to Alpha Centauri. One of the first episodes showed a warm hole (or similar?) opening up and sucking the Resolute and the Jupiters into it - that's how they ended up on that planet in the first place. Now that the Jupiter 2 has jumped away, the Resolute will be trapped in that area of space, which is possibly in another galaxy entirely, according to Maureen (based on that space chart she saw in the alien ship). I actually thought the kid who played Will was a pretty good actor! He really made me feel for his relationship with the Robot! I was heart broken for both of them when he told Robot to walk off that cliff. Considering the Robot barely talked and had no real facial expression, the Will actor really had to do all the work making those scenes moving, and he DID. I thought he did a great job! Similar to others, I thought Dr. Smith was an interesting character and the actor did a great job with what she got, but her motivations were totally all over the place. For someone who just wants to survive, she was sure doing a bang-up job trying to screw things up for herself!
  5. I'm curious if Judy would have made a different decision if she had known the planet was dying.
  6. You can accept an apology but still keep your guard up towards the person. Just because you accept that the person is sincere about being sorry for whatever they did doesn't mean you accept that they'll NEVER do it again. I'd do the exact same thing with Erika - I'd believe she's apologetic that she overreacted in her response to Teddi and was too harsh, but I certainly wouldn't just assume she'd never do it again! Eileen on the other hand DOESN'T accept an apology. How many times did she "accept" LVP's apology about mentioning her affair with Vinny and then CONTINUE TO BRING IT UP?? You're not accepting an apology if you keep bringing up the thing apologized for over and over again.
  7. Okay, I think I confused the Morrisons with the Fosters originally. The name of the thread "sister wives who actually like each other" made me think it was Enoch's wives, since they actually DO seem to like each other. It was pretty clear from this episode that Beth and Marina can't stand each other. Only Suzie is happy and she probably ignores the other two half the time!
  8. They explained that wife #1 (Suzie I think) is studying to be a nurse and had exams, so she couldn't stay home and help with the kids. It's also my understanding that Marina is usually the one that stays home with all the kids, so Beth wasn't used to it and overwhelmed while Marina was at the hospital in labor.
  9. Ugh, I know a lot of you have no patience or sympathy left for Brittany and all the shit she puts up with Jax, but I feel sorry for the girl. Jax is clearly abusive and manipulative. They've been together for years now and he probably didn't start out as bad as he did now. He's slowly been destroying her self esteem, her self confidence, and ensuring she feels indebted to him and that she can't leave. Abused women often really struggle to leave their abuser, and I have to assume it's just as difficult when it's just emotional abuse and not physical abuse. She is being abused by Jax. I hope some day she finds the strength to leave him.
  10. Definitely agree! This show looks much more authentic than Seeking Sister Wives. I find it interesting how well the Morrison wives get along - I wonder if that's because it was really the first wife who basically chose wife #2 to join the family and it kind of seemed like the husband didn't have anything to do with it, haha. ETA: Do I have the right family for this, haha?
  11. The fact that there was a previous wife for the Alldredge family actually explains a lot. The fact that Sharis and Vanessa are wives #2 and #3 explains so much why they get along so well!! It always seems like it's wife #1 and #2 that have the most issues, so the fact that wife #1 is out of the picture could explain why this family is working so well! None of these wives went from essentially monogamy to polygamy.
  12. No, she was saying how her ex told her there was something wrong with her and she should see a doctor because of (presumably) normal mucus that her vagina produces.
  13. Bravo didn't show us because, according to Teddi's blog, Erika left after the camera crew left! So there probably wasn't any footage of her leaving abruptly. I'm not sure if they leave other cameras behind or something that captured some of the conversation about it as well as the late-night partying. I don't know how that part works if the camera crew has left.
  14. So Dorit requires a Trump loyalty pledge from her friends?
  15. Is that supposed to be Dorit? Because it looks nothing like her...
  16. The only thing I can think of is that maybe Christine is making a bouquet with these flowers and she's hoping that her other daughters will ALSO use that same bouquet - so it's borrowed if she's planning on taking it back.
  17. Why are we arguing over #Lategate when this episode hasn't even aired yet???
  18. It wasn't pasta. It was a croissant sandwich and fries.
  19. I don't really care about all the interpersonal relationship stuff, but I am LOVING the team's dynamic with each other and the missions they go on. Ray (#2) is lying about his shoulder, right?? He never actually went to see the doctor and get an MRI in the last episode, correct? I like that the team is coming around to liking Clay and it's good to see him in action and that he really does keep his cool and makes smart decisions, so it shows that he IS worthy of being on this team and isn't just an arrogant a-hole. I do NOT understand Clay and Stella. Neither of them seem THAT into their relationship. I always got the impression they just have fun together and maybe the sex is good. But now Clay is proposing?? What?? Ugh, never mind, I don't care. Show more of the SEALs together!
  20. I'm not surprised. I kind of assumed the back-to-back episodes was to get them all aired and over with sooner and knew it probably wasn't a good sign. And with the death of Allanon, I'm less interested in another season. But I am still bummed. This show always reminded me a little of Hercules, Xena, and Legends of the Seeker, so I'm sad that it wasn't a little better and didn't last a little longer. These types of shows just don't do well anymore it seems.
  21. No, it's set to premiere in June. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Woman_(TV_series)
  22. OMG, I was a big supporter of Dorit's last season, but she's acting so self-absorbed and self-involved this season! WTF?! Even if she WAS going to meet Teddi at 4:30, it was 4:54 when she called her and she was at LEAST 15 minutes away, so she was going to be almost 40 minutes late ANYWAY! And okay, she thought they were meeting at 4:30, that's okay. But when Teddi tells her SHE thought they were meeting at 4:00, Dorit shouldn't just assume Teddi's a liar - she should've said something like "OMG, I thought we were meeting at 4:30! I'm so sorry we got the times mixed up and you've been waiting all this time!!" That's all she would've needed to say!! Instead she gives some "Oh, I thought we were meeting in this random hour window!" and then bashes Teddi to Kyle and Lisa for leaving after waiting for almost an hour! Did she really think Teddi was just making up how long she had been waiting?? For what purpose?? And she shows Lisa that Teddi texted her at 4:36 asking where she was and tries to insinuate that Teddi is an impatient bitch. She KNOWS Teddi thought they were meeting at 4:00, so texting 36 minutes later makes complete sense! Her whole premise relies on her believing Teddi is a liar for absolutely no reason and acting like a crazy person just to make Dorit look bad or something. WTF?? Who does that?? Just apologize for getting the times mixed up and promise to double-check the times next time (and not be late for whatever time it is you think you're supposed to meet at)!!
