  1. I've enjoyed Gwen on this show very much and think she has been a great coach. Of course, I only watched sporadically before so I don't have a huge basis for comparison. She seems genuine to me.
  2. It was more like a reunion for several seasons, not just last season. It was Catelyn and Tyler, Farrah and herself, Courtney Stoddard and her returned husband, Shayne Lamas and her boyfriend. There might have been others. Too much Farrah....I remember that much.
  3. Since Rhonda is in essence a single mother no longer working with 4-5 kids already, I can't imagine she would be the best candidate for adoption since there are so many childless couples out there. I'm surprised she isn't just trying to have another one herself like Nonnie. Of course having just gone through a bankruptcy it is insane to have another child anyway!
  4. But what is interesting is that they do not have the same religion now that prompted them to become polygamists. It just doesn't make sense to live this lifestyle without the religious aspect since there really are no non-religious benefits (despite all the convincing otherwise). I realize that they already have a formed family but maybe that is why they are suddenly open to their children actually having "choices".
  5. I wonder if she will be visiting him at a nudist colony. Didn't Kendra's friend say he lived at one? Not knowing her background I was confused about a few things. It sounded like he walked away when she was 5 and she never saw him again growing up, but then it was mentioned she saw him at 13. There's no way in hell her father wasn't prepared in some way for that phone call
  6. Obviously there is one judge too many if there isn't time for all 4 to comment. I know Julianne was the darling of DWTS during her dancing days (and I liked her as a dancer too) but wouldn't it work better if she was the fill-in judge for when Len was gone. Plus, you can see the tension when Julianne gives her criticism. It's almost like when one of your co-workers is suddenly your boss. For Antonio to get worse scores than Tommy was just wrong.
  7. Maybe Kody and Robyn are in Hawaii to conceive the new plot line for the upcoming season.
  8. Brady just seems to me to be VERY aware of the cameras and to be the polygamist version of politically correct. I agree with others who have said that Rhonda seems to be the most content and the least jealous. Maybe that is because she has known Brady for years and really knew exactly what she was getting into before she joined "the family".
  9. Nikki really just needs to face reality. Yes, she met JP on The Bachelor and the winning couple is supposed to fall in love, marry and live happily every after but the track record of the show proves much differently. If she met JP in a more normal manner they would probably date for a while before either one of them declared their love. I seriously think her problem is that she is just not getting her way and that she told him she loved him on national TV and she is embarassed he won't publicly say it back. Of course he might never say it because he doesn't feel it. She just needs to move on if saying it now is so important to her. I think he is staying with her because he has already been declared a jerk and he probably figures people will hate him even more if he dumps her.
  10. I think this was introduced strictly to provide drama (like Evel said....a Jerry Springer tactic). It has nothing to do with therapy and if anything pretty much made each situation worse. It is hard to take this show seriously as any kind of therapy. Except for the Jersey Shore couple, the couples really do seemed doomed. The same issues are repeated time after time that really don't seem to have resolutions for Nikki/Juan Pablo and Treach/Cicily and Jenna is too pissed off at Dr Jenn to even listen to anything she says anyway.
  11. They COULD actually talk about what really IS happening in their family, like which wife is jealous of which other wife, which one is the favorite and the resentments because of that, how they manage their rotation (for example when it is one wife's "turn" can another wife still have contact with him). The real lifestyle details could be interesting but that is the kind of stuff they won't talk about of course! We don't need to see any more celebrations or meetings about My Sisters Wives Closet.
  12. Yep, neither is a prize and pologamy is doomed to fail, at least as far as self esteem and happiness of the wives. But I would say, the first word that comes to mind for Brady is skeevy and for Kody it is doofus. It does seem that Kody is a little less controlling than Brady.
  13. It sure seems like history was being rewritten when Amelia mentioned how she could never relate to her siblings and it wasn't until she met Meredith that she felt a true kinship (or something like that). On Private Practice, Amelia and Addison had been best friends after they had become sister-in-laws and when they did a cross over episode, Amelia barely knew Meredith when she visited Seattle. At least that is how I remembered it.
  14. I found 3 new episodes On Demand from my cable company last night. Maybe the show has been cancelled? These are all trainwrecks of course (even real couples that have been together awhile would have a hard time spending a week together in those conditions). I actually thought this was the best couple so far. Yeah he has some frat boy ways and at times treated her like one of the guys, but at least there was a mutual attraction.
  15. I took it more like "Wow, I am actually sharing a wall with the famous Jenna Jameson!". Nikki's complaints about the cameras are definitely getting old. You would think she would have gotten used to them while on The Bachelor.
  16. Is skinny dipping that big of a thing? Yeah, he should have asked first but he did apologize and they had a chance to move on from there. If you can't even sustain a conversation though...you know your relationship is doomed. Were they allowed to bring cards or board games or anything? Not sure about that. He really had no right to make a big deal about her smoking though....definitely her choice but it is also his choice not to be with somone who smokes if it is a big deal to him. The 2nd round of nakedness in the house was his way of pouting but I guess at that point, he realized they would be going their separate ways anyway.
  17. I know he wasn't great but he was definitely underscored with his 6's....which was less some of the token "novelty acts". Going first is never easy of course but plenty of people got 7's who were not any better. Hope he gets a second chance!
  18. Could someone explain to me how Evel Dick is a celebrity. Is he a reality star of some sort? It was kind of funny when he brought up the Fantasy Suite dates to Juan Pablo.
  19. Yeah, but that might have been because he wanted to be sure he kept his "sure rose". It's hard to say if Robert was just wanting to go slowly with Sarah or if he really hooked up with her to be sure he stayed every week. He never got that far on the Bachelorette so maybe he just didn't want to leave until the end this time. It seems like it would be easy enough to contact her if he did still want to date her though.
  20. I think that IS pretty close to the truth. You really couldn't have a bunch of Bachelor/B'ettes alum just laying around drinking for 7 weeks and expect there to be enough drama to keep interest. Of course Michelle was the ringmaster with the scripting, although I do hope that there is something there and lasting with Michelle and Cody. I think Lacey could have been ANY girl that Marcus latched on to.
  21. When he was on the Bacholette I totaly thought he was an a-hole for his "baggage" comment, but now I am wondering if he wasn't a producer plant to provide drama (for BIP as well but no one was going for it). He wasn't exactly heartbroken when he went home either time. He really is pretty funny if you don't take him seriously.
  22. Actually, the Bachelorette or Bachelor have not been on DWTS that often so it would have been more of a surprise if she had (despite the obvious tie-in). I believe it has only been Trista, Jake, Sean, and Melissa so far.
  23. Like others have said.....horrible casting! There are only a handful of people that I can tolerate and that is a long way from anyone being interesting enough to care about. I could barely get through this episode let alone watching for a year (is it really a year?) Too much rudeness and yelling and people on edge....doesn't bode well for building a society, let alone Utopia.
  24. It seems like a lot of these contestents know each other from B/B reunion shows and events (probably what Jessie was referring to when he said "festival") and producers also attend (assuming). Someone else mentioned that they probably have answered questionnaires saying who they would most likely want to meet, have a crush on, etc. I'm sure the producers are trying to throw things off to create drama, like bringing in Brooks for Sarah because they know about her crush after she has already hooked up with someone. And a few of the guys seemed to be very aware of Jackie so she is deemed tempting to upset couple, etc.
  25. Never thought he was gay at all. What I like about him is he seems a little brighter than some of the bulbs on the show and he has kind of a sarcastic sense of humor. I totaly understood Des' thing for him. And, you have to give him credit for his honesty in leaving the Bacholette in time for Des to find (settle for?) someone else. Would rather have seen him in the finale than Zack who seems more interested in securing his rose than anything else.
