  1. Long time lurker but not a very frequent poster here. I'm watching this and I feel my IQ dropping every time they speak.
  2. But on a show where producers thrive on drama Charlie and Sharna's partnership was too low key and he was nowhere near as bubbly as Bindi who also had the "drama" of the shadow of her deceased father. As for James Maslow the producers attempted to play up a showmance between him and Peta based on them having gone on a single date well before he was cast on DWTS so that provided a story for them that season. He simply got lost in the shuffle of personalities and producer driven stories/rehearsal footage.
  3. I don't think her problem with Charlie was all about her choreography. I think they together personality wise were lacking "drama". There was no storyline for the producers to zoom in on and make something out of. Whereas in contrast to Maks and Meryl there was the passionate Ukranian/Russian hot head/bad boy angle that was played up with Maks/Meryl and that she tempered that or whatever. Charlie has friendly as he appears to be probably would have gotten lost in the shuffle this season as well when up against the personality juggernaut that was Bindi Irwin and against Tamar who was getting the bitchy edit. He just didnt give the producers anything to conjure up. As for Nick, he never was the strongest dancer in BSB so it's no surprise that he wasn't super strong regardless of his boy band performing experience.
  4. Peta and Sharna have been friends since they were 18 so for a decade. I believe they were in Burn the Floor together.
  5. Sharna and Peta have been best friends for over a decade since they were back in Australia. I'd say that they consider each other sisters which best friends often do. Mine is my sister from another mister.
  6. I enjoyed this episode and can't wait to watch this season unfold. Normally I'm not a horror genre fan but this show (minus Coven that season fell flat for me) manages to keep me wanting more.
  7. Or maybe Josie licked the cake frosting just before it was put on the cake or she helped herself to the batter just before it was put into the dish then baked.
  8. Some couples would do a Latin and the others would dance a standard ballroom dance. That's how I remember it.
  9. This isn't the full clip of Trevor as a guest on Stephen Colberts late show but I think he summed up the GOP debate well IMO. http://www.rawstory.com/2015/09/watch-trevor-noah-reduce-the-entire-3-hour-gop-debate-into-one-hilarious-meaningless-25-second-soundbite/
  10. Pena is his last name. Vega is her last name. They each took the others name. Much like if a woman hyphenates her name Mrs. Smith-Jones.
  11. Meh, It's not an earth shattering gesture but it's an afternoon that she can focus on herself and make herself feel better. And at this point I feel it's more than any of her sisters in law would provide (at least Jill and Jessa). I think Amy's heart is in the right place.
  12. Another article calling out the Duggars. http://www.rawstory.com/2015/09/selfish-and-rude-fans-rip-duggars-for-celebrating-cousins-marriage-by-posting-jessas-wedding-pics/
  13. Don't tell Nick Carter that who is still selling out arenas with the Backstreet Boys. Even now BSB still has quite a massive following.
  14. One of her sisters left along with her husband and I believe they live as mainstream Christians. She has another sister Suz who had a child out of wedlock. So she has family that aren't within that movement any more.
  15. She has a sister and brother in law who left and just lead their lives as conservative Christians and she has her sister Suz who had a child out of wedlock. But it's just a matter if they have the means to help 5 people (Anna plus 4 kiddos)
  16. As much as people dislike them for their views I can't see anyone being THAT dedicated to set up an account starting 2-3 years ago and another a year ago. But whatever floats their boats.
  17. Insert eye roll but Jessa's pregnancy is bittersweet compared to Jill's... http://www.people.com/article/jessa-duggar-seewald-bittersweet-pregnancy-after-molestation-scandal?xid=socialflow_facebook_peoplemag
  18. I'm not at all surprised if this is true. http://www.rawstory.com/2015/08/desperate-duggars-pitch-tlc-new-show-where-they-counsel-sex-abuse-victims-report/comments/
  19. As someone who lurks here more than I reply I have to say that I too love reading the Maxhell blog because of the weird factor. These people don't schedule anytime for fun. I'd like to think that living with them would in fact be hell.
  20. I'm a regular lurker of this forum but I rarely post however this People article says Boob put the kibosh on the spinoff because he wasn't the focus. http://www.people.com/article/duggar-cancellation-why-spin-off-wont-work?xid=socialflow_facebook_peoplemag

  23. In my high school a few cheerleaders were in theater and no one thought twice. Michelle was probably the Regina George in terms of personality in her day.
