The slut walks aren't her idea. They started in Toronto and have spread across to several US cities even before she got involved with bringing one to LA and they are just as important. In case you didn't see it above here's a link to the Waahington DC slut walk (the others have Facebook pages/Twitter accounts) and they are to help end rape culture and blaming women for their own sexual assault (ex: Was she drinking? And funny enough Mark and Val both turned 30 this year yet Val does look older (which Val is by 2 months to the exact date if Wikipedia is to be believed)

Thanks to Netflix finally adding seasons 5 & 6 recently I was able to watch S6. What I noticed in this episode (and when Sean and Frank got into a fist fight) is how much Frank did not like hearing everything that the kids have said over and over by an outsider. Then here comes this stranger and it offends him that someone called him on everything so of course Frank once again had to pull the rug out from underneath Fiona (or whoever in the past). That said I didn't care for Fiona and Sean. My little Gallavich shipper heart misses Mickey and I want to like Caleb but I'll need more convincing.

I'd say no experience would apply to the men as well. Mario Lopez, Joey Fatone, Corbin Bleu and I'm sure others were scrutinized for their dance experience.

Let's not forget Kim Kardashian. She wasn't exactly Americas sweetheart and she was a challenge as well.

That is a very worthy cause to be involved with regardless of her past (which would be a form of shaming if one is to believe or think that because of her prior occupation that she shouldn't speak out).

I wouldn't put her as being in their inner circle of friends but she's the best friend of Blac Chyna who is expecting Rob Kardashians child and is the mother of Kylie Jenner's boyfriends son. Amber Rose is the ex girlfriend of Kanye West who is currently married to Kim Kardashian. I'm not sure if she ever had any beef with Khloe but she did get into it a bit with Kanye over Twitter only after he brought her son into an argument or some words he had with Ambers ex husband rapper Whiz Khalifa. Regardless of the above, I'm looking forward to her. She's become an activist and comes across as being genuinely nice.

Not necessarily true because I believe Kendra Wilkinson (one of Hugh Hefners ex girlfriends) who appears a few years ago wasn't that great and if I'm not mistaken she was once a stripper.

Val did wonders with Zendaya. They had such a great partnership and she was the same age as Laurie during her appearance so I have no doubt he'll be great with Laurie.

How so? I think DWTS is a great platform for her to talk about her activism. She's intelligent and has a great personality. If she can dance well then that's even better.

She's also an activist and talk show host on VH1. I'm looking forward to seeing her on the show.

It depends on the age of the viewers. I'm 38 and knew who Nicole Sherzinger was but my parents who are in their 60s had never heard of her before. It's all going to vary. And while many people may not like reality TV it's still a popular genre that's made many people a household name so they deserve a shot to dance on another "reality"/competition show. You're also going to have people who don't know every NFL player who appears so again it will vary on how well known each star is. So my overall point is that a star to one viewer may not be considered a star by another. We all have different definitions.

What's considered a real star? DWTS is never going to get A-Listers or even B-List actors/actresses. And certainly because there may be some who appear on the show that others have never heard of doesn't make them any less of a star.

I like Amber Rose. If you look past her start as a stripper to being Kanye's ex girlfriend to being rapper Wiz Khalifa's ex wife she's really branded herself and marketed herself well. She's very well spoken and is an advocate against slut shaming women/rape culture among things (last year she held a Slut Walk in LA, those types of events have taken place in other cities) She may not be everyone's cup of tea but I respect her hustle. She's also a mother so people can relate to that as well.

Natalie Coughlin seemed to be a decent dancer during her season. Unfortunately I don't think she had the fan base to keep her in because I remember her being eliminated early for a decent dancer.

Unpopular opinion I like Michael Phelps. I interpreted his reaction the other night against Le Cleos (I think that's the spelling) as a mix of "in yo face, sucka" and confirmation to himself that he could still win that event after feeling disappointed with himself 4 years ago. But I've never gotten a bad vibe from him.

How successful was Nadia in 1980? I thought Nellie Kim of the USSR won the all around and Nadia had an uncharacteristic fall in those games.

If I'm not mistaken Misty May-Treanor appeared on DWTS right after her 2008 Beijing Olympic appearance although she had to withdraw shortly after due to an injury (she only did 2-3 dances)
