  1. I don't think anything is going on with Milt and Holly. Each time Russ was suspicious about something being up with Holly, Milt was there, so it's not likely she is sneaking around with Milt. I love that Milt was lying to Russ about his 911 story, and I loved that Russ loved that he caught the lie.
  2. Who knows about the flashlight? Ben, Cornell, the wife, the daughters and the best friend, so one of these people had to put those flashlights in the garage. It may not necessarily be the murderer, but if not, someone is really trying to mess with Ben's head, or maybe Ben has some sort dissociative personality disorder.
  3. While I enjoyed this series, the ending was way too "Hollywood" for me. It was made to look like right after Jarecki confronted Bob with writing samples, the interview ended and Bob went to the bathroom with his mic still hooked up…because really, you don't unhook and take away a mic after the interview is over? I can't say it didn't happen, because obviously we heard the recording, but the editing was certainly skewed. I would have to guess, if it came down the way it seemed to, was that they didn't end the interview at the point that writing came up, and that at some point Bob asked to use the restroom, came back and talked more about different subjects before leaving. I swear sometimes I get so riled up about the "wag the dog" hyjinx by TV producers that it diminishes any appreciation I have of the story they are trying to tell.
  4. What a disappointing episode. Adalind is pregnant with Nick's child? GAH! I can't even! Nick and Juliette are going to have another relationship crisis…again, I can't even! This is a show about Grimms and Wesens, and while probably a few side stories are necessary, I don't watch this show for drama. I have enough dramas on my TV plate as it is. If this becomes too angsty, I'll probably have to show myself to the door. This isn't the stuff I signed up for. I agree, Henrietta seems to have an agenda, and I am hoping she cannot be trusted, because right now, I am just about at my wits end with where the story seems to be heading.
  5. I'm having a hard time with the Dylan/Caleb story. Dylan is obviously involved in questionable activities, though he seems to be generally good-hearted guy, but by no means a pushover. I don't understand why he is letting Caleb insinuate himself more and more into his life without taking a stand. It seems out of character for his usually level-headedness. The only thing I have come up with is that he is possibly intrigued by Caleb's interest in him, since most of his life, he had experienced disinterest by Norma or perhaps anyone. I'm just throwing this out there as a ridiculous theory, but maybe their crazy neighbor offed the call girl, if only to tie this arc back to the main storyline, because somehow the story has to be connected to the main plot. As much as the drug trade and/or Dylan's activities seem to be another story, peripherally it has always been part of the narrative! I also would like to see the promo for next week and can't find. Help is appreciated!
  6. Why yes, anyone can do anything Dearie, if the plot requires it! I heard Eion Bailey was back, so I am daring to tune back in to see if they ever address the questions they created with the missteps the made by turning him back into a child. I have a shiny new quarter that says they won't, but on the plus side I really don't care what happens anymore!
  7. God yes! I found him somewhat sympathetic initially, but now every time he opens his mouth or makes a move, I simply shake my head and mutter, Dumb Ass!
  8. Ratings would tank, don't you think? People live for the crazy!. Maybe it's me personally, but I would be bored as hell watching a relationship develop between my neighbor and/or coworker or anyone else for that matter!
  9. I don't know, nursing is a tough gig and pretty thankless, so there is usually a huge demand for them. She may not be able to get a job in fertility anywhere nearby (unless she gets a job working with animals, which I actually don't find ridiculous, with maybe some extra schooling, or not), but if she has her 4-year degree in a nursing program, yeah, essentially she could work as a nurse anywhere, even as a school nurse in a nearby community.
  10. I thought that detective was a bit of an ass too. Some of the behaviors of his suspects that he thought were incredible and absurd are things that, while may not be the absolute norm, were still within the realm of possibility. Even more so was the way he treated the roommate, the boyfriend and Daniel, essentially calling them liars and twisting evidence to get them to break. They were young and probably easily intimated, but you can bet your bottom dollar, if any detective took that tack with me, that interview would have been over right quick without another word spoken until I had lawyered up. Asking tough questions is one thing…bullying is another thing altogether!
  11. I don't mind Vane, but what I find annoying about him is his voice, not so much the sound of it, but his manner of speaking. It seems like he is trying to come across as menacing, but often times, it sounds more like he is narrating from a book or something...I don't know. Also I find his previous blind adoration of Eleanor mind-fuckingly dim. Other than that, I like him just fine. I too am wondering how he and his men followed Flint without use of their boat because that was a pretty slick maneuver.
  12. It's things like this that I love about this show. It's twisted and creepy, yet still manages to be endearing and humorous.
  13. Well Damn! How did I ever live without that information? Same thing happened to me, more like 3 years ago. I do, however, miss RS when he used to be funny. Some of his earliest recaps cracked me up. He was a much better recapper than a sleuther.
  14. I think this season is going to turn very dark, and I really hope it does. I've enjoyed the prequel of the Bates in their "innocence" but I tuned in to see how Norman got from point A to point B and I'm ready for it. I love all these twisted characters, and I want everyone to be okay, but since it is obvious they won't, I'm ready to learn what happened.
  15. I love Dean Winters in anything with his gruff voice and sometimes rough-and-tumble face. Dean, call me!
  16. I didn't see every episode this season, and I certainly wasn't going to dedicate 3 hours of my life to the show last night, but I did watch ATFR this morning, and while I can't speak to the chemistry between Becca/Chris or Whitney/Chris during the run of the show, it was clear to me on ATFR that Chris and Becca had chemistry in spades and Chris and Whitney had none. Their body language spoke volumes. Becca and Chris faced each and looked at each while talking, even if the question was asked by CH. Whitney and Chris had very little eye contact and both spoke directly to CH. Sure Chris and Whitney may work out in the long run, because Lord knows they both have the same goals (marriage/family), but it seems like a relationship of convenience more than one based on mutual love and affection, to me, at least based on their appearance on ATFR.
  17. I agree with this sentiment in general, but I also think it stems from mommy issues. If he is attracted to someone that Norma wouldn't approve of, well then..... Emma, on the other hand, Norma loves, so I think (hope) she is perfectly safe.
  18. I thought the pilot was okay, but I liked this episode so much better. I've been binge watching OZ recently. I love Dean Winters there, and he is doing a great job in this role too. I'm not big on procedural shows, but this one seems lighthearted and fun, and I'm glad they aren't taking themselves too seriously...maple syrup cartel, HA! I'm all in!
  19. This show just kills me! Everyone is double crossing everyone, and yet I can't pick a side. I love all these dirty double dealers!
  20. I thought I read somewhere that she was
  21. I love Empire and Black Sails. I will miss HTGAWM. I'm looking so forward to Game of Thrones and Bates Motel, but I must hang my head in guilty pleasure about watching The Bachelor.
  22. I hope they don't go there. I am enjoying this show a lot but that seems a little too skeevy to me!
  23. I wouldn't really mind if this was the series finale. Don't get me wrong, I've been a fan since episode 1, but I lost my initial enthusiasm after we found out that Henry was Crane's son. I never got to the point of hating the series or even Katrina, but something got lost in the storytelling in season 2. Whether the writers were planning on this arc or not (doubt), it just dragged on for far too long. I'm leery of a season 3 because the show runners may have lost the goodwill of the viewers, and it may be too late to course correct. If it does come back, I'm all in, but if it doesn't come back for season 3, I will be satisfied with that ending because how could I not love the core 4 back together again, riding into the sunset and harvesting fanfic!
  24. And then he shows up as Mayhem at Allstate....well played Dean Winters!
  25. I would also like to say, the scene with Thomas and James was either poorly acted, poorly directed or both because that kiss could have been between my grandparents! I find their relationship understandable, based on their common/uncommon beliefs and admiration of one and other, but to me that kissing scene was wooden. The meaningful glances, though, were believable to me.
