  1. I hadn't seen Bones before, and while I thought the crossover was decent, I found the acting on Bones to be rather clumsy, and Brennan is a bit annoying. Booth seems okay though. I wasn't really sold on them as a couple, however. Something about Zoe seems off to me, as in maybe a potential stalker. It just seems like she is needy or clingy or trying way too hard. Pandora stealing the Halloween candy = Priceless!
  2. I thought it was interesting that Sally represents addiction, and that she told John she was not going anywhere. I do think John is involved in the serial killer he is hunting, but in what capacity, I don't know, but it seemed pretty obvious that since he was invited to the party, they consider him a member. I imagine all the members of the family will end up as residents of that hotel in one way or another!
  3. True, but it was a crime that they were unwilling participants in, couldn't that make a difference?
  4. It is kind of a dramady at this point, but as long as the characters are interesting and the story moves forward, I'll keep watching. I've made it through 3 episodes, so that is a plus. Coven and Freak Show put me to sleep, and I couldn't get through them, but I did like Asylum and Murder House. This series is kind of hit or miss for me!
  5. I'm starting to think that we, as a people, should petition for a law that makes it illegal for police to question anyone without legal representation present, no matter the circumstance. These stories are getting more than so discouraging. \
  6. I have the feeling the original poster is referring to erectile dysfunction.
  7. Is this going to be moved to the front page?
  8. Another coerced confession? Please make it stop!
  9. I didn't know what to make of the first two episodes, but this one seemed pretty good. It seems like things are starting to gel. Initially only a handful of characters held any interest for me, but I found a lot more of them interesting this episode. The countess isn't my cup of tea, Will Drake doesn't really interest me much, and I can take or leave Tristan, but they seem to be serving their purpose. My only real gripe at this point is that there are so many characters with ongoing storylines that only a few short minutes could be given to each. And, I hate gratuitous gore (the tongues being nailed down, eww), but that's Ryan Murphy for you.
  10. BWAH! Walnutqueen. I will never get that visual out of my head Every time I read a post of yours, I will forever picture you sitting at your PC naked.. I tried the nude thing for a while, but my butt cheeks kept sticking to the leather on the chair and it always hurt when the cat jumped on my lap, so I had to abandon.
  11. It really does, and a little off topic, but I think this would be a great issue for John Oliver at Last Week Tonight to address.
  12. These convictions based on coerced confessions always make my blood boil, especially when it comes to younger and more vulnerable people. It seems like some (not all of course) members of law enforcement really don't care if they are right in their allegations, only that they get a feather in their cap for closing a case. I am completely astonished at the DA's office in wanting to continue to pursue this. If the confession is now inadmissible, let it go man…you've got nothing! At this point, it comes off as purely ego driven.
  13. Hmmm...I don't know. I liked Iris, the cop, Liz Taylor (who I suspect won't feature much) and Mr. March. Everything else bored me. The story, as it is, seems too disjointed, and the episodes last much longer than they need to.
  14. I don't really watch late night TV, and I only tuned in the first week just because of my love for Stephen. I thought he had an awkward start, but this morning, I watched some clips on Youtube, and it seems he is doing fantastic. He is head and shoulders above the Jimmys. I loved TCR, but I'm glad Stephen is bringing out a more genuine and sincere side. This was the Stephen I was hoping for!
  15. I'm enjoying Trevor quite a bit. I liked Jon, but I liked him better in his earlier days before he became so cynical, and I don't blame him for that, but I tune in to CC for comedy. At the end of the day, I need to laugh at the world around me, not become enraged by it. I'm not even saying Jon ceased to be funny, but his world weariness was affecting his persona. I hope his retirement is peaceful and enjoyable. On the other hand, Trevor can call me anytime!
  16. For me, it's a toss between Sister Mary Eunice from Asylum, Leigh Emerson (Santa) from Asylum and Delphine LaLaurie in Coven. They were all so delightfully depraved. I may have to add Liz Taylor to my favorites as well. It seems like Denis O'Hare will be fantastic in that role.
  17. After being a bit under whelmed last week, I thought this a really good episode. My favorite scenes were the ones with Crane singing and doing housework. Joe and Jenny seem like they would make a nice team, and yes indeed, the actor sure does look a lot like Clancy Brown. I can't wait to learn more about Abbie's and Jenny's father. I hope this was more than just a passing mention by Abbie to show a more vulnerable side. I'm kind meh on the MoW but I do find Pandora intriguing, I will be disappointed if they don’t run with her story. If she is just creating monsters for the sake of creating monsters, I don't think it will hold my interest for long. As far as Betsy Ross, I can take her or leave her. She doesn't bother me or interest me. I think it would have been best to have given her a short arc instead of making her a regular, because I can see how that will get old very fast.
  18. If they give the characters some story, it might be okay. If it turns out to be a bunch of shockers, I probably will not bother. The only season I watched from start to finish was season 1 which I initially liked but seemed like it fell flat toward the end. I did eventually finish S2 but not until long after it aired, but it did end up being my favorite. I got halfway through season 3 and only 2 episodes in season 4. I'll stick around for another episode or so…It is Halloween time, and I like the eerie, and the male eye candy has been upped, so there is always that! Plus give me Denis O'hare in earrings and cascading gown…he needs his own mini series, STAT!
  19. Pandora was interesting, but I was bored otherwise. I didn't hate it, and I don't know what I expected because I didn't really hate season 2 or even Katrina/Henry, but I found the episode mostly dull. Sure there were a couple of fun moments (Crane in his prison orange and in the restaurant Colonial Times), but mostly I found myself watching the clock.
  20. It was a little soapy, but I liked it. The characters all seem interesting at least.
  21. I vacillate between the brothers and who my favorite is...they all seem so layered. I hated Hakeem at first and loved Jamal and was a little indifferent towards Andre, but now they have each caught my attention, and it varies from episode to episode who I am rooting for. Kudos to the actors for keeping me compelled!
  22. Now that OUAT is coming back, I'm going to say my UO is that am confused about the Emma/Hook relationship. He was kind of a dick, and now she is in love with him? Really? Writers do what writers want to, but this makes no sense to me!
  23. I wasn't impressed. I really enjoyed the Colbert Report, but I thought this was going to be something different. I've seen Stephen just being himself in other interviews, and he is smart, thoughtful and insightful. I was hoping for more of that. I also thought the Oreo stuff was misguided. I wasn't really offended but I found it insensitive! I don't know how else he could have led into his segment, and I got the joke, but it fell flat for me
  24. I have to agree. I haven't enjoyed her portrayal much on this show, although she was tolerable this episode. I get the feeling she doesn't do ordinary well. She is much better at playing dramatic quirky characters. I agree that Minx is a red herring…too big of a reveal too soon. Count me in on not quite getting why Wes had such an attitude about Claire and her family showing up for the funeral. For crying out loud, they have been working together almost nonstop, and supposedly their affair was over years ago (right?).
  25. I took that to mean she was the only thing that added meaning or brought a real sense of pleasure to his life. Creature comforts are great, and I would rather have them than not, but I imagine it was something deeper for him.
