Maybe he's doing too much and is stressed out? That can really affect someone's personality, in my experience.

I really hated Amanda's at first, but I didn't even notice the straw cuff, which is pretty cool. Perhaps she's onto something; after all, part of the "prize" is the "opportunity" to "design" an "ass-scessory" for people who schlep burgers for a living, so maybe they always should be judged not the quality of the accessories they make?

This looks all kinds of amazing. My predictions: Episode 101: Richard Blais (Top Chef Chicago runner-up and Top Chef All-Stars winner) vs. Marcel Vigneron (Top Chef Season 2 runner-up) - Blais, no contest. Episode 102: Shirley Chung (Top Chef New Orleans finalist) vs. Brooke Williamson (Top Chef Seattle runner-up) - really tough contest. I could see either of them taking it, but I'm leaning toward Brooke. Episode 103: Mike Isabella (Top Chef All-Stars runner-up) vs. Antonia Lofaso (Top Chef Chicago finalist) - I think Isabella's very hard to beat; judges seem to love him. I think Antonia is one who could actually do it though. Episode 104: CJ Jacobson (Top Chef Miami contestant) vs. Stefan Richter (Top Chef Season 5 runner-up) - Stefan Episode 105: David Burke (Top Chef Masters Season 5) vs. Takashi Yagihashi (Top Chef Masters Season 4) - Ooh, battle of the Masters. I'm gonna go with Yagihashi. Episode 106: Tiffani Faison (Top Chef Season 1 runner-up) vs. Dale Talde (Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef All-Star contestant) - Hard to not pick Tiffani. I'm not a big fan, but she seems to always do well. Episode 107: Nyesha Arrington (Top Chef Texas contestant) vs. Jen Carroll (Top Chef Las Vegas finalist) - Jen Episode 108: Stephanie Izard (Top Chef Chicago winner) vs. Kristen Kish (Top Chef Seattle winner) - Oh, man. Umm... Stephanie (why, Top Chef, why??). Episode 109: Kevin Gillespie (Top Chef Las Vegas fan favorite) vs. Art Smith (Top Chef Masters Season 1) - bleah. Couldn't Stephanie get one of these and Kristen get the other? No idea.

I'm really worried about what will go on with Nicky in Season 3. That girl knowing where there's a huge stash of smack is not good. I'm also fretty about Suzanne. I didn't really like what happened with her this season, but it really wasn't her fault - she is mentally ill and was taken advantage of by a pro. I think she really cracked in the finale though; I hope she can come back from that. She's really such a sad character, she's smart as heck, but also very, very ill. On the lighter side, whoever mentioned that Poussey and Nicky should hook up is a friggin genius. I'd love to see that, although I don't know that Nicky takes relationships seriously enough for Poussey. Nicky's more of a casual sex sort of girl, I think, and I'd love to see Poussey with someone who reciprocates her feelings without being stuck staying in Germany, for once.

I need to rematch Season 1 because it's been a while, but I'm leaning toward liking Season 2 better. Both have their strengths, though. I thought season 1 was great at showing what life is like for the prisoners (on TV anyway, who knows how accurate it is really), and introduced us to some great characters. The story in Season 2 was really strong though, and I loved seeing more of some of my other favorite characters (especially Poussey). Season 2 needed more Nicky though, and I wasn't thrilled with how the Vee story played out. I thought we'd learn something more about how she turned bad, and I thought she'd end up being a more complex character, when in fact she was just a sociopath.

This was a very stressful episode for me, between worrying about Cindy's sisterdaughter and worrying about Jimmy. I could (couldn't) care less about Polly and Larry.

Gawd DAMN. That makes me want to make out with Alaska so hard. Which would be pretty awkward what with her being a gay man and me being a straight woman.

I effing love this queen. I haven't been so psyched about a man in a dress since Willam Belli, and I'm so thrilled that Bianca won!

Oh good, I can go to bed knowing all is right with the world. And I can watch this tomorrow without fear of someone other than Bianca winning.

The sad thing about Afiya is that she's absolutely gorgeous, but she looks pissed off all the time.

Yowzah. I've grown to like Adore, but if she wins over Bianca, I may start throwing stuff.

I think Bianca winning was already a foregone conclusion, but yeah, this cemented it. And I'm fine with that. But I was really hoping that they were editing Courtney to be bitchy because Ru seems to have this thing for having one person everyone hates at the end, and that would mean Darriene would be out. I'm bummed, to say the least. This would have been an excellent finale without her.

This is my number one reason for suspecting that Bianca wins this thing. It would be a walk in the park to make her seem at least as shady as they're making Courtney seem - if not more so. Just leave in the many, many witty/bitchy remarks she makes, and leave out all of the self-effacing, supportive, helpful stuff that is making us all love her. Editors do that, and give a little more of sweet Courtney being sweet (which, given how everyone feels about her, there is plenty of on the cutting room floor) and bang, we all have a different favorite. I'm perfectly happy with a Bianca win, if that's what happens, but I could easily see it going the other way, if editing were different.

I don't like her anymore, but I had to snicker when Darrienne asked Joslyn had 8 bikinis she could borrow.
