  1. I think it's connected, somehow, to the new movie verse. Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci (aka K/O Paper Products), the producers of most/all the new movies, are apparently producing the show (they also produce, among others, the current Hawaii Five-0 & Scorpion on CBS, & Sleepy Hollow on Fox).
  2. So did Maggie; Jen posted a pic of it. I think she was dressed as a witch. Love the dogs, but I'm more interested in what the humans--specifically Will & Zoey--were dressed as.
  3. As long as Nancy doesn't say "Yummy, yummy, yummy to my tummy, tummy, tummy!", or something similar, in judging this season I'll be happy.
  4. Danno's son, to whom he just donated the bone marrow, is Charlie. From Ep 214, in which the character was born, with Danno's help since Stan Edwards was in Beijing on business, Charles William Edwards is his formal name (until/unless they change the last name to reflect Danno's his real Dad).

  7. Yeah. I've looked at Heidi's party pic off & on since it was linked. Honestly, I think at least the face was a "miss" this year. I don't see Jessica Rabbit either; not as I remember her from the movie (movies?). Heidi's incarnation comes off as "harsh", somehow, to me. But, yeah, Heidi at least got her big boobies.
  8. Jen Tweeted & Instagrammed pics of Will & Zoey dressed for Trick or Treating (she did a couple of them together & then individually). Here's a link to 1 of the pics of Will & Zoey together. https://instagram.com/p/9jDY5Dq-Ut/ Will dressed as Rafaello from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Zoey dressed as Minnie Mouse. Both very cute. I think there might be a comment on the linked page saying the show will be back in January. But it didn't come from Jen, Bill, or apparently anyone connected to the show. So take it with a grain of salt, for now.
  9. I agree with you about Gracie. Not only is the character now 13 in the show (Teilor Grubbs just turned 14 in real life earlier this week), but I think she's also being written as starting to "test her boundaries" now that the show's been on long enough for the character & actress to both become (early) teenagers. Not that I think Gracie would ever be written as doing anything truly bad--especially given that the Five-0 team is such a big part of her ohana. You know? I mean, in last year's--or the year before that's--Halloween episode, Gracie was dared to TP someone's house/yard; she did it to *her own* house, the 1 where she lives with Danno, so the only person she ended up making mad was Danno, when he found out (& then, when he found out she TP'd their house on a dare & made her clean it up, mostly the only thing he said about it was she should've done it to/next time do it to her Uncle Steve's [McG's] house instead). I also agree there's no way Grace doesn't know about Charlie, may be acting out in response to it, & she has to have known from way far back, perhaps. I mean, there were all those scenes towards the end of S1--like in the ep where Danny was exposed to the Sarin--where Danny & Rachel were being openly affectionate with each other in front of then-younger Grace, instead of the constant arguing since the divorce, in similar ways to what Grace should've seen then between Rachel & Stan. I mean, Rachel & Grace both slept in Danny's hospital room the night he was there for post-Sarin exposure observation (though, to be fair, he was supposed to have custody of Gracie then because Rachel & Stan were on a trip to Maui). I remember there were a lot of people who talked about Danny & Rachel behaving like a couple in front of then-younger Grace, before the reconciliation/return to Jersey as a family that never happened because of the events involving McG & the rest of Five-0 in the S1 finale, on TWOP. Like, how could Gracie not interpret, from that (before Rachel found out she was pregnant & made plans to take Gracie & leave Stan) her parents could be getting back together, however it happened. And by this point Gracie's probably had at least some early biology/life sciences study in that fancy private school of hers. If she hasn't, she's intelligent, maybe curious, enough to perhaps have done individual research especially after Charlie got sick & realized why Danny--of all people--ended up being the bone marrow match who appears to have saved Charlie. I don't think the Charlie calling Danny "Danno"--her pet name for her Dad--thing is that big an indicator of Danno being Charlie's real Dad. In the park scene where Rachel told Danny Charlie's sick & he could be a parental "half-match" for a bone marrow transplant, in the S5 Finale, Rachel starts to remind Charlie who Danny is (Grace's father); Charlie starts to call him "Danno", like Gracie does, & Rachel starts to tell Charlie Danny doesn't like the nickname--then Danny says no, it's OK, & asks if Charlie learned the name from his sister (Gracie). Charlie says yeah; he learned it from Gracie. So, presumably, Charlie was at least calling Danny "Danno" around Gracie long before it ended up Charlie & Gracie were both his biological kids. I liked that Steve recognized Max was, perhaps, thinking about his biological mother being killed by the Trashman, too. He--& the team, for the most part, seem to be very sensitive to Max as a person (he's a genius now adult who's maintained some rather boyish/childlike qualities, tendencies, whatever--who's sensitive when it comes to relationships). I remember in the ep where Max's "crush", the bank teller Sabrina (played by Rumer Willis), was shot, once Steve & the team found out about Max's feelings for her they tended to tell him to "hang in there", etc., when they spoke to him & Sabrina still wasn't doing well. And then there was the S1 ep with Sean "Puffy" Combs in it. When Steve brought his character's son out of the house after his mother was murdered, he had the kid close his eyes, up to a certain point, so he wouldn't have to see the dead bodies, including his Mother's, from the shooting which happened at the beach house where the family was staying. And I agree, Steve doesn't get enough credit for his empathy & emotional sensitivity when he shows it. At least to victims/their families. I think people see it, though, when it comes to Steve & his extended Five-0 ohana. Hopefully this makes some sense. I've been sick for a couple of weeks & this is the longest thing I've written since. My brain's still a bit scrambled from everything that's happened to me.
  10. Original Airdate: November 6, 2015 SOURCE: http://cbspressexpress.com/cbs-entertainment/shows/hawaii-five-0/releases/view?id=43757
  11. Max's biological mother was among the victims of the "Trashman" serial killer, shortly after leaving Max (as a baby) at a "safe haven" at a local church--from which he was apparently subsequently adopted (all the killer's victims were unwed young mothers who'd left their babies at the same church). This story was explored in S2 of the show--I think in Ep 220 (1 of the ones filmed while Alex was in rehab for his shoulder injury).
  12. About to have her 2nd child as a young, single mother. Sigh...
  13. Deadwood actor Ralph Richeson Dead at Age 63. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/ralph-richeson-dead-deadwood-actor-835086
  14. Erin's working her original job with Fox Sports (I think that's the right network) right now. She's on the sideline (or whatever they call it) reporting team for The World Series (basically interviewing Major League baseball players, like she interviews the couples after the dances on DWTS). Depending on how long the Series takes to play, Erin could be back on DWTS anywhere from Monday after Halloween night (WS G4 plays on Halloween night), if 1 team sweeps in 4, to the next show after November 1, 3 or 4 (dates for WS G5-7), if the Series isn't a sweep. Whether the WS is a sweep, somewhere in between, or goes 7 games, Erin will be back on air with Tom by the next DWTS show after November 4th since that would be the night of G7 in this year's WS, & that part of her sports job would be done anyway. I think the next DWTS after November 4th has an air date of November 9th--& I don't think they'll be quite to the Finale by then. So Erin should be back on/before that date.

  16. I live in part of "that part of Indiana" which caused the screwup for Josh, Donna, & co. (only closer to the Ohio & Michigan borders than Indy--I thought Jed seemed to be speaking closer to Indy/Southern Indiana than my metro area in the ep; especially since they kept referring to getting to Indy as the fastest way they could get back to DC without having caught up to Air Force One/the Presidential Motorcade & Entourage). So I know these screwups well. I was also the responsible 1 for remembering when airline schedules, TV schedules, etc., changed when our part of Indiana didn't do Daylight Savings Time (& so we were on "Chicago" time for 1 part of the year; "NY" time for the other part) so we didn't miss things like favorite/important TV shows or taking someone to/picking someone up from the airport for a flight. Thankfully, the Governor (or whomever) did the right thing & finally mandated the entire state (I'm pretty sure... Maybe there are some exemptions for the part of Indiana near Chicago, but I'm not sure) observe Daylight Saving Time a few years ago now. So... No more 20 Hours in America transportation messes here, unless maybe you somehow missed the memo all of Indiana now observes Daylight Savings Time.
  17. Renewed for full first season, according to multiple sources.
  18. I have absolutely nothing. Except maybe Danny was supposed to have overdone things, in character, at the Mudder (wanting to fulfill this obligation that may have/probably did come up before Danny's situation with Charlie changed & Danny knew he had to help Charlie, if he could, as well as wanting/needing to fix his son, if he could), & of course his ohana would help him across the line. Especially since I don't even remember him being cautious, when going out in the field, before the Mudder. At the very least, I think a hip marrow donor should be on crutches/possibly moving more carefully for awhile--don't know how long, probably just days--after the procedure. And we don't know how soon this was in connection to earlier things, other than yes, Danny donated his marrow to Charlie already. Scott's ep write-out last week was explained away by it in that episode (the donation procedure/hospitalization for Danny), & Danny reminded the ohana at least once this week he was, in fact, a bone marrow donor.
  19. Also RIP: Jerome Kass, Writer of Queen of the Stardust Ballroom. Dead at 78. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/jerome-kass-dead-queen-stardust-834444?utm_source=twitter
  20. Tough Mudders have been around awhile. I remember reading Alex was at least supposedly going to do 1 with Simon Mirren, former Criminal Minds showrunner; maybe others, as a team. I don't think they ever did it--or at least Alex (obviously) didn't. It was in S2, when Alex missed Eps 220 (Max-centric ep about his birth mother's serial killer) & both parts of our crossover with NCIS: Los Angeles to deal with his shoulder injury issues. Even if they didn't do a real Mudder, I'd hope a decent donation was at least made to the real-life equivalent of the HPD "Widows & Orphans Fund" (a social media friend blogs about each ep; she mentioned the term used in the show was a "generic catch-all" most people would recognize immediately for that; the real-life names attached to the HPD's group & a police group in Maui are a bit more complicated). Again...I'm guessing the scene was written with the team carrying Danny through the race so he could at least try to fulfill that commitment (which, presumably was made in the timeline before he found out Charlie was his son & needed his bone marrow), & help his son. If Danny had donated marrow, it would've been at a hip bone & he probably would've had a bandage/cast. Wasn't the pic a team photo, in character, at the end? If you're still thinking something happened to Scott, I got nothing there.
  21. BREAKING: No further info available. Reps for the Hollywood Walk of Fame are Tweeting Actress Maureen O'Hara has died (she is/was a star honoree). https://twitter.com/wofstargirl/status/657959544228835328
  22. TNT is still only airing eps (end of S3) from 3-5AM Eastern early Saturday mornings (instead of the 6-hour mini-marathons from Midnight-6AM). Tonight/this morning the eps are/were the 1 where the couple kidnapped kids to collect the welfare benefits they'd bring the family; & the 1 where Steve helps Doris, Mick, & Wade break into Craig T. Nelson's character's highly-protected office to get back the microfiche outlining Doris's covert CIA ops work (her bargaining chip to supposedly keep her family safe if she ever decided to retire from CIA field work). Craig had stolen from Doris--probably because info on it would be a problem to his pending appointment as a high-level government intelligence/national security department head.
  23. I haven't heard that Scott broke his real leg. But the bone marrow Danny donated to Charlie (last week) would've been removed from his hip bone, hence perhaps a bandage there.
