  1. OK... They wouldn't have had to have mandatory school time during filming, but they still would've had to have a parent or adult guardian on the set with them.
  2. There was apparently NO beef between actor Mark Dacascos (Wo Fat) & Peter Lenkov (or anyone else involved with the show/CBS); in fact, Lenkov & Dacascos had done another show together before H50 & they worked well together there--Lenkov says he would work with Dacascos again in a second. Wo Fat wasn't even dead in the outline Lenkov wrote for the 100th episode (which CBS is *finally* repeating on Friday of Thanksgiving weekend, by the way). Lenkov explains the whole thing in this episode post-mortem article, from TV Guide's website, which was posted there a few days after CBS aired H50's 100th episode, in which Wo Fat died. http://www.tvguide.com/news/hawaii-five-0-wo-fat-death-peter-lenkov-1089100/
  3. If anyone's interested, TNT will air Eps 403, 405 & 404--apparently in that order, with Eps 405 & 404 in the *wrong* order--between 3AM Eastern & 6AM Eastern Monday (tomorrow) morning, November 16th. http://www.tntdrama.com/schedule/list.html
  4. Especially if it was produced during the school year, & even if it was produced during a normal school system's vacation time, I would guess the junior designers would also have to put in the required amount of on set school time governed by Child Labor Laws in NY state, or wherever they're filming. Not sure the producers could get that waived because, like, they only have 1 day to complete the assigned "look" for the next runway show & that's "more important". Also not sure minor children working on reality/competition shows (vs. other types of TV shows/TV movies or theatrical films) are exempted from the on-set school requirement. I know the minors who've, say, competed on American Idol have had to fulfill the on-set school requirement around all their rehearsals, wardrobe fittings, recording sessions for the iTunes downloads of their performances, etc. So I don't think the minors participating in PR Juniors (or PR Threads, for that matter) would be any different. And they'd have to have a parent or guardian with them on-set, even if the parents/guardians didn't help them/otherwise participate in the show, like they apparently did in PR Threads (which I'd forgotten about).
  5. Before I say this (it's probably a spoiler for you), remember you asked. It got canceled, after 3 seasons, by SyFy Network on October 16th this year. The last episode apparently aired on August 28th, per the show's Wikipedia page. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Defiance_(TV_series) That's what happened to Defiance.
  6. She's officially playing a recurring character. I don't know how many eps she's signed for, but she's listed among the recurring cast for next Friday's episode.
  7. I'm pretty sure Betsyboo's right (I haven't been able to watch my DVDs for awhile). You see him for a bit, right after Zoey's kidnapped (when Josh or whomever is trying to get any useful info he can outta him, but he's too high to be useful so they decide to get a blood sample to find out what, exactly, he took besides the Ecstasy he told Zoey he slipped into her drink, before she was kidnapped). Then I think he's referred to, but not physically seen, for an ep or so after that. After that, he goes off to Mandyville--never to be seen or heard from again. Though I think Zoey mentions him periodically for a few eps. So Zoey & Jean-Paul's breakup occurs offscreen.
  8. Executive Producer Peter Lenkov came up with the story for last night's ep; as he said in interviews during S1, he's old enough to remember--& have watched, as a new show--the original Hawaii Five-O. So I figure he's also old enough to remember & have watched, as a new show, The Streets of San Francisco since that was on during a few seasons when CBS was airing the original H5O. And I figure he was probably responsible for the shout out to the Streets of San Francisco characters. And H50 Producer/Writers Bryan Wynbrandt & Steven Lillien wrote the actual working script for the ep based on Lenkov's idea, & they've been Supervising Producers/Co-Executive Producers of H50 for the last 2 calendar years. They both were also Executive Producers on Alcatraz, so I assume the Alcatraz shout out was likely their doing (though Lenkov could've also been involved in it too). But I never watched Alcatraz, so I missed that reference. I saw it mentioned on Twitter though.
  9. Abby Dunn is an Inspector with the San Francisco PD, as they said. She's also apparently in charge of a Five-0 type task force in/attached to that PD & she started out going to Hawaii to observe how Five-0 does things. Because Steve swore her in as a temporary member of the team for her visit, she's working with Chin on a case involving the deaths of 5 Chinese Arms Dealers. The Abby Dunn character *might* also become a new love interest for Chin. Or so they say. I'm sorry you're tired of Gabriel Waincroft & the Yakuza, & Adam's getting on your nerves. But I think they're all gonna be sticking around for awhile. Ian Anthony Dale (Adam)'s *other* TV series, Murder in the First, which airs on TNT cable network, just got renewed for another season. So, at some point, Adam probably won't be around as often as it seems he is now because Ian will be busy filming that show instead of H50--at least depending on the expected season premiere date, etc., for his other show in combination with the remaining shooting schedule for this season of H50. And Adam's not in the Recurring Cast list for next week's H50 ep either. Abby Dunn is though.
  10. Along with the full-season order apparently comes a change in timeslot. For those who don't already know, starting January 5th The Grinder will air at 9:30PM Eastern, following Brooklyn Nine-Nine. http://www.tvguide.com/news/fox-midseason-schedule-american-idol-premiere-new-girl-x-files/
  11. I figured Adam gave himself up to keep the attention--of the Yakuza, if not also Gabriel Waincroft & the HPD--off of Kono. Like during S4, when he decided to let them come after him, if that's what they wanted, during that car chase they filmed in Hong Kong, when Adam & Kono were on the run from his brother Michael's dirty Yakuza allies after Adam killed Michael in self-defense after Michael tried to kill Kono (if not Adam as well)--the storyline they created to cover for the about half-season of filming Grace Park needed to be offscreen as much as possible because she was pregnant with her first child in real life & not due to deliver until S4 had been airing on CBS for about 6-8 weeks, & they decided not to make Kono & Adam onscreen parents as well.
  12. Did anyone else besides me catch Abby's reference to "Inspectors Stone & Keller" who, she said (when they were talking at Five-0 HQ after Steve swore her in as a temporary team member), were enjoying the immunity attached to being part of SFPD's version of Five-0? That was a shout out to the detective partner characters played by the late Karl Malden (Stone) & Michael Douglas (Keller) in the ABC cop show The Streets of San Francisco, back in the 1970's (I think).

  14. She's a swimsuit model (some kind of model anyway) &, as of the last week or, maybe, 10 days ago (but less than 2 weeks ago, I'm pretty sure), she's also New York Yankees baseball player Derek Jeter's fiancée.
  15. From People magazine's website--Tamar Braxton Sheds Light on Health Problems After Leaving Dancing with the Stars http://www.people.com/article/tamar-braxton-health-issues-dropping-out-dancing-stars
  16. I'm pretty sure they said they did the Juniors show in LA; so they used LA's Mood store. Therefore, no Swatch since he's at the NYC store.
  17. It was recently renewed through the rest of this season. Beyond that, we won't find out until sometime in Spring, 2016 probably.
  18. I'm from a medical family, & I've been in hospitals a lot since I was born (just spent 15 days in 1 for something, in fact), & I'm not excusing it, but doctors & hospitals--unfortunately--misdiagnose a lot (not necessarily more often than not though). Usually when it comes to multiple possible diagnoses which "present", as they say, with similar at least initial symptoms. And perhaps Tamar actually had multiple issues--like something that looked like a respiratory virus/bacteria thing, *plus* the PE's--going on at the same time. It's harder for doctors to diagnose correctly when you've got either similar symptoms with multiple diagnoses, or multiple symptoms with different diagnoses going on in the same body simultaneously.
  19. According to FX schedule information published by multiple entertainment news sources today, S4 will premiere on March 4, 2016.
  20. My local CBS affiliate, in Northeast Indiana, reported today that Dave will be appearing at his alma mater, Ball State University in Muncie (Muncie is between my hometown & Indianapolis--closer to Indy), on November 30th with filmmakers Spike Jonze & Bennett Miller (I think that's his name... It's in the linked article too). Ticket information, for anyone close enough to come, is in the linked article. http://wane.com/2015/11/12/david-letterman-returning-to-ball-state-on-nov-30/
  21. What I found interesting was that his Mother's Facebook post said that had he lived he would've been left a quadriplegic, on a ventilator, & unable to speak. I wonder if that has to do with the level his neck injury was at, or what? (I'm from a medical/neurosurgical family but I don't know) I'm curious about it because when the late actor Christopher Reeve was injured all those years ago in his horseback riding accident (he was injured at basically the very top of his neck), he was left a ventilator-dependent quadriplegic... BUT he could still speak following the accident.
  22. I think pretty much everyone really disliked Jean-Paul (Zoey's arrogant French boyfriend). Charlie definitely did (hope that wasn't a huge spoiler for you).
  23. According to this article, http://www.delish.com/food-news/a44573/target-exclusive-holiday-mm-flavor/, the Hot Chocolate M&Ms should be at Walmart stores. There's also a Café Mocha flavor that's supposed to be at Target, & a White Peppermint flavor which appears to be available in lots of places, including through eBay & amazon.com. Over Halloween, they also had Pecan Pie & Pumpkin Spice Latte M&Ms. The Pumpkin Spice Latte ones are/were at Target; not sure about the Pecan Pie ones. You can probably still find both through amazon.com.
  24. I think I'm a bit confused by this comment you made in relation to Tamar. We already know she's out & can't dance on Monday's show because of her illness. That was announced earlier today. What we don't know, yet, is if Alexa may be brought back into the competition since Tamar's medical withdrawal, after Alexa had already been voted out this week, seems to have left them with 1 less couple than they expected to have still competing at this point in the season with, like, 2 performance shows left to go. After Alexa got eliminated, they had Bindi, Tamar, Alek, Carlos, & Nick left. Then Tamar dropped out & now they have Bindi, Alek, Carlos, & Nick as the Final 4. And I'm now trying to figure out how many couples they meant to have in the Semi-Finals & Finals. Were they supposed to have 5 couples in the Semis, which I think are next episode, eliminate 1 couple at the end Monday night, have 4 start out in the Finals then eliminate down to 3 couples *during* the Finals & have the winner be 1 of the Final 3? The way things stand now, to me, makes more sense: Even though there were 2 eliminations this week, leave that alone & go with 4 couples in the Semis, eliminate down to 3 at the end of the Semis, start the Finals with 3 then, perhaps, eliminate down to 2 *during* the Finals--of which 1 couple wins the MBT (shrugs).
  25. People magazine (for which the PenaVegas, perhaps not so coincidentally, have been blogging about their DWTS experience) is also reporting on the possibility Alexa could be asked to return (though also pointing out she & Mark wouldn't have much time to get a proper routine/proper routines together for Monday night, if she were asked & she agreed to return). http://www.people.com/article/dancing-stars-alexa-penavega-could-be-reinstated-post-tamar-braxton-dropout?xid=socialflow_twitter_peoplemag
