I’m watching Meet the Press now, I DVR’d it because I love Kristen. Hmm. Well she did the best she could possibly do in my opinion with the interview. For the live stuff I think she was nervous which is normal. She’s very intense but I think she will be a great moderator once she gets a little more comfortable.

This is hysterical! I’m a huge Eli fan (Giants fan) and Peyton is funny. I’m probably in the minority but I love their show and wish they did more games. I always laugh so hard. Say what you will about them but they’ve done it right…long and successful careers and now a pretty sweet setup in retirement. Congrats to them.

Agreed. Tyler is THE Nikolas, the others have just been middling replacements in my opinion. Adam is ok but I do think he would be more suited to playing a character in Sonny’s organization than playing a supposedly cultured prince. Ha, I was thinking the same thing! Charlotte has always been very territorial about Valentin, she didn’t even like Nina at first (I think). I really enjoy the actress who plays Charlotte and I’m glad she’s back. There is nothing they can do to make Cody happen for me. He is just an annoying character that should never have existed in the first place. Next! Is Georgie still being played by KSt’s real life daughter? I thought I read somewhere that was the case but I don’t know if they’ve cast someone else.

I agree with everyone else. Love Kassie and the character of Blair (I’m pretty sure I loved every scene of her and RoHo as Todd they were excellent together) but just why. You can’t capture lighting in a bottle so I kind of wish they would work on coherent storylines for the already bloated cast.

Now I’ve always thought JK was a good looking man but with this new haircut…..I wouldn’t kick him out is all I’m saying…. Ditto to everyone who has said NuNuMolly is just not working and the actress who plays Betty would have made a better Molly. NuMolly (the one before this one) wasn’t terrible but she just didn’t blend well with the others. Too tall. Maybe she could play Lulu when/if she wakes up? Little Lulu was a brunette (yes I’ve been watching that long and then some).

Ok please tell me what I’m missing because I really haven’t seen any evidence (besides the way he was acting opening night before and after the play) of Ben being this huge asshole?? At the table read he seemed fine, if a bit “bro-ish” which is his schtick I guess. Then we got to see all his insecurities and he hated Charles because of being fired when he was an eight year old supporting his entire family. Then fast forward to four months later (opening night) and he’s this gigantic dick. When did that happen?? Maybe we just haven’t seen it yet but it seems like a huge personality shift in a matter of months.

This show is so good!! It would be very easy for the premise of this show to get dull (I mean three murders in one building come on) but somehow they make it interesting and fresh. The addition of Meryl Streep just puts it over the top. Love it.

Apropos of nothing, just wanted to add that Betty reminds me of Winona Rider.

I thought Liz looked beautiful and loved the flower in her hair. What was with Finn just wearing an untucked, open button down shirt though?? They didn’t match at all. ETA ok they looked a little better at the luau with the leis but he could have tucked in his shirt. Cody is acting a fool right now. I missed a bunch of episodes so is there a reason he’s being so extra? I get why he feels the way he does but physically lunging at Gladys and trashing the interrogation room doesn’t seem like it will help anything. It’s kind of irresponsible that Gregory agreed to watch Violet with his health deteriorating so rapidly. I mean she’s not a baby or anything (despite the way she’s treated at times) but she’s still a child and he’s not really in any condition to supervise her.

I haven’t watched in a couple weeks so I’m sure this has already been mentioned but did Chad Duell dye his hair? It looks super dark.

I think the woman psychiatrist fully knows Larry is a psycho and she was kind of trying to give Jimmy an out. Like just say you are a danger to my other patients and I’ll get you transferred. That’s what it seemed like to me, especially since I’m guessing she’s not privy to Jimmy’s real reason for being there. The guy who plays Larry also played the main character in that movie about the Atlanta Olympics bombing where he was accused of setting the bomb. He was great in that as well. Very creepy. If Ben Affleck and Luke Perry had a baby, it would be Jimmy. This was a great last role and send off for Ray Liotta. Moving into that motel to stay close to Jimmy and then sitting in the parking lot staring at the prison, man that got me right in the feels! I also thought the riot scene was really strange. Then after someone came over the intercom telling the inmates to get back in their cells and they just….got back in their cells?? Why didn’t they try that hours before? Now I’ve never been in prison before but two other things that struck me as weird were 1. that the inmates get so much time to seemingly just roam around freely and 2. It was so damn clean in there! I have one more episode to watch. Really held my attention. Creepy and mysterious, also super scary that it’s based on a true story.

Ok finally finished the season. As much as I feel badly for Tristan losing his mom so suddenly, and at such a young age, I just don’t like him at all. Everything he says seems rehearsed and fake. When he was thanking the K’s for being there for him I didn’t see any genuine emotion whatsoever. He just rubs me the wrong way. I still have a soft spot for Lamar, Kanye has legit mental issues and Scott is at least entertaining. Tristan is just skeevy.

I just heard Kristen Welker will be leaving the Saturday show and Laura Jarrett will be taking her place. I like Laura but will miss Kristen, she’s such a pro and has a great chemistry with Peter. I hope it was a mutual decision because she was doing a great job.

Just now getting around to watching episode 7 and I laughed when they were talking about the mess of cousins and Khloe was like “I think the stork is just dropping them off here now”…ha! I also thought Kris’ birthday party and everyone dressing up as Kris was hilarious and a great idea…I kind of want to throw someone a party and have everyone dress as that person.

Michael’s not even the smartest person she saw that day, never mind her entire life. She’s been especially extra as of late….it’s better than having no emotions at all but she’s been so angsty lately I’m just like good god woman pull yourself together! If he was still playing Drew the same as when he first came on the show he could have pulled it off. Drew Caine, life coach? Nope. The beard probably helped. I like both these actors and their characters, but not when Gregory is being so over the top mean to Tracy. I known she’s done a lot of shady shit but I don’t like the way everyone’s been so awful to her this go round. If wardrobe is having trouble dressing a very average to fit sized man, there is no hope at all for the women of this show. Sad to say but I do think the writing is improved with the replacement writers. Sucks for the regular writers, but I do think they may have gotten complacent, which is weird because soaps are a dying genre and you would think they would want to do their best to keep them going. This was a few days ago but what was with Sam hiking up her pants? When Dante walked in I thought she was giving herself a pedicure which would have made sense but then she did it again and it was weird.

I forgot to comment on the new prison waiting room…..this is what they spend their money on!? Looks like a futuristic Starbucks..

This has probably already been answered but are scab writers blacklisted once the strike is over because they crossed the picket line? How come they get to work? Are they just not union members?

I understood Curtis freaking the fuck out but I did not understand why the doctors were so dire…..like isn’t it normal to have swelling after a spinal injury? That was weird. I probably enjoyed his eye rolls more than I should have, ha! I’ve liked Sonny these last few days interacting with Austin and Ava, even the extremely awkward double date was humorous.

I haven’t watched yet but are they really going to make him an alcoholic now? Ugh. I mean, and I’m not saying this is healthy because of course it’s not, but sometimes people just drink too much. Sometimes people go on benders. That doesn’t mean they have a severe alcoholic illness. Of course if it becomes habitual it’s an issue but going out and getting hammered one night doesn’t make you an alcoholic. It’s kind of offensive and lazy writing (per usual). Sometimes people just make the wrong choice. But I’m still salty they made Alexis an alcoholic out of thin air 🤷‍♀️ Well I’ll give Curtis a tiny bit of grace here because if I woke up from being shot and couldn’t feel my legs, I’m pretty sure I would be freaking the fuck out.

Yeah that’s where I’m at too. Like the actress was ok, but that foursome was well established and it’s tough to break through. I wasn’t feeling her and TJ either, that couple has been together forever and although they did recast TJ, he wasn’t as integral in the show at the time. It has to be hard to just walk into a front burner story, but it didn’t work. I also really hate the outfit they had her in at the hospital. She’s so tall and rail thin, that outfit was doing nothing for her. She looked like Olive Oil. Sorry for being shallow, she’s beautiful but it just goes to show wardrobe gets it wrong with people of all sizes. It also stuck out because everyone was dressed casually and she looked ready for the club.

Ok so I’m a sap but I teared up at the scenes with Curtis and his mom. I’ve also enjoyed all the Ashford family scenes. Yeah, it was weird hearing Trina call Curtis dad but it’s a pretty intense situation so I get it. I agree. He looks like a grown up Eddie Munster. Mo’s not a bad looking man. He doesn’t need the shoe polish.
