  1. Yeah that’s where I’m at too. Like the actress was ok, but that foursome was well established and it’s tough to break through. I wasn’t feeling her and TJ either, that couple has been together forever and although they did recast TJ, he wasn’t as integral in the show at the time. It has to be hard to just walk into a front burner story, but it didn’t work. I also really hate the outfit they had her in at the hospital. She’s so tall and rail thin, that outfit was doing nothing for her. She looked like Olive Oil. Sorry for being shallow, she’s beautiful but it just goes to show wardrobe gets it wrong with people of all sizes. It also stuck out because everyone was dressed casually and she looked ready for the club.
  2. Ok so I’m a sap but I teared up at the scenes with Curtis and his mom. I’ve also enjoyed all the Ashford family scenes. Yeah, it was weird hearing Trina call Curtis dad but it’s a pretty intense situation so I get it. I agree. He looks like a grown up Eddie Munster. Mo’s not a bad looking man. He doesn’t need the shoe polish.
  3. And we can say we knew him when! I always enjoy seeing soap stars make it big.
  4. This. I guess it’s too much work to keep up something like this long term, which is why I always respected that they never got rid of Todd Manning’s scar on OLTL. Sure, it got way smaller as time went on but it was still there. I read somewhere Roger was the one who insisted on keeping it, which made me like him even more. I think Kristina realized this though after talking with Sam and Alexis. She said something like she didn’t think it all through and didn’t think about all the implications. She didn’t need Molly and TJ jumping down her neck. I get that Molly was upset the Kristina was making it seem like it would all be just so easy, but she could have taken it down some. That’s her sister.
  5. I honestly forgot all about Ned with all the fuckery going on lately. No Carly is always a plus but we’ve got her mini more than filling in the insufferable role. I think they are acting completely out of character. Maybe Willow’s horribleness is rubbing off on TJ. And nuMolly isn’t winning any points with me. I know Kristina has always been a black sheep but it’s usually Sam and Alexis condescending to her, not Molly.
  6. They ruined the Gladys character as they’ve ruined so many others. I liked Gladys and I like the actress who plays her. She was a little messy sure, but she really stepped up and proved she was loyal after the baby died, and then Brando. She showed some intelligence working at Deception too. She had a lot of potential so I’m pretty pissed they decided to make the character so one note. Not surprised, but still pissed.
  7. I would add Portia to this list too. Her dresses are so cute and fit perfectly. Lmao….same. My husband thinks I’m a nut and honestly….he’s not wrong 🤦🏻‍♀️
  8. Sometimes it does. My cousin was diagnosed recently and although her eggs are still viable she will most likely have to use a surrogate because of all the scarring in her uterus. Also, donating an egg is kind of a big deal. That means that biologically the baby would be Kristina’s and that could be a difficult thing to wrap your head around mentally and emotionally. I almost had to go the donor route myself and I think I would rather have an entirely anonymous donor instead of a family member where things could get messy. Carrying the child is another story as there’s no biological tie, but obviously still a huge ask, to say nothing of the attachments that are/are not easily formed. It’s just hard. That’s why I don’t venture out of here much. It’s scary out there!
  9. Omgosh I love Kristen. She’s so intelligent and very quick with questions. She and Peter Alexander do such a wonderful job hosting Saturday Today.
  10. Just finished this. Like others have said, it was excellent. I had no idea Otto was played by Liev Schrieber. Such a calm, understated performance. I had seen the actress who played Miep in The Morning Show where she had a smallish part, and much lighter material. All the acting was top notch. It just broke my heart that they had so much hope for liberation, they managed to stay hidden for TWO YEARS, and that was the outcome. Just senseless. Of course I knew the story of Anne Frank, but I never heard it told from the perspective of the helpers. I’ve never really thought about it that way honestly; it was so heroic how they put their own lives on the line to do what was right. I read a book entitled “The Light in Hidden Places” about another helper and the families she hid, with much smaller and less stocked accommodations. Take a look if anyone is interested (authors name escapes me but it was a very good book).
  11. Yes they are, as were Chase and Brooklyn who are an entire generation younger than them. This is why I liked Finn and Anna. They weren’t exactly a ball of fire together, but they had a quiet love and it was nice to see, even if it could be a bit boring. On the other hand, we have Martin and Lucy who are totally sexy and hot. These are just two examples of mature relationships that are totally different, but both are realistic and work. I didn’t mind seeing Finn and Liz playing board games, that’s cute and realistic. However I can not with all the high school will they, won’t they. It’s just silly at their age. That’s my thing too. The actress isn’t terrible, but maybe just not right for Molly.
  12. Lol….maybe TJ can give Curtis some tips but not the other way around! I guess that’s good given they are supposed to be sisters but I’m just not feeling NuMolly. She just looks so much older than Hayley and it’s weird seeing her with TJ too, again probably because Molly and TJ have been together forever and I’m used to Hayley in the role. NuKristina is ok.
  13. I thinks it’s pretty realistic that Dex could take Spencer in a fight. Like others have said, he’s had military training and just more life experience. He’s on the smaller side so he’s had to compensate and learn to use his strengths. Spencer’s just a spoiled kid who goes to the gym a lot. Really good conversation between Sonny and Sasha. Mo is so good in these supporting type scenes. If it’s true he wants to cut back on work it’s a great way to transition. Unfortunately I do see more chemistry between Spencer and Esme than Spencer and Trina. Maybe PC just sucks the life out of people. Spencer, Trina, Drew, heck even Curtis were all more interesting when they were out of town.
  14. I laughed so hard when Carly said “I have to get a job, that’s my life now, someone who has to get a job.” As if it was the worst thing in the world and not what the majority of the population has to do. And then she said she hadn’t gotten another job because she was hoping to get the MetroCourt back, conveniently omitting the part where Nina offered to give it back to her. Ugh. What a spoiled woman.
  15. Olivia was so cringey bringing the huge photo album to help Ned/Eddie (Neddie?) remember. Oh my god give the man a little breathing room. She’s treated him like shit so many times maybe now she’ll appreciate him. Brooklyn “We went for a run.” Tracy “Was someone chasing you?” Chase “hahaha” Tracy “What’s funny?” LOVE HER. And look if it’s about the actors’ comfort levels I get that but I found it absurd that Chase was shirtless and Brooklyn was in a long sleeve shirt and long pants. He could have at least thrown on a T-shirt to make it look more balanced.
  16. Well the other day she did tell him that she wasn’t going to make this easy for him and he needed to own his shit basically so here’s hoping she will stick to it.
  17. I don’t like the name. Some names are iconic and associated with one person, like Elvis, Cher, Madonna, etc. Its just weird to use those names to me.
  18. Ugh Olivia is such a hag. Of course she had to bitch about Nina calling her. Nina is so much nicer than I would ever be to any of these awful people. Yes, you’re probably right but I’m sure even without knowing details people probably knew she was doing shady shit so it’s just a bit much.
  19. How many more times do we have to say this….it doesn’t matter if Ned remembers or doesn’t remember or if he did or did not turn in Drew and Carly…..THEY ARE GUILTY….just finding out who actually turned in the tip WILL NOT CHANGE ANYTHING. Or at least in common sense world it wouldn’t. So annoying. I’m still really not getting all this Anna angst. It’s common knowledge she was a double agent…isn’t it? Why is she getting so crazy over this?
  20. Why didn’t they just FaceTime Danielle into the meetings when she was waiting on the plane??
  21. About 5 years. According to the year captions Joel went to prison (or was at least arrested) in 1985 and Susie’s roast was in 1990. They seem to have reconciled soon after that. I’m glad they showed Imogene at the end, I’ve been wondering what happened to her since she and Midge were supposedly such good friends. I loved Abe and Rose finally being proud of Midge and telling her so. I loved the whole thing really. I got teary every time Susie got teary. She just stole the show for me. I’m so going to miss it!
  22. I think it’s funny that Kourtney thinks Kim can’t let go of their competitiveness from childhood, yet it’s Kourtney who’s am actually mentioned it twice already. I really don’t think Kim is in competition with Kourtney. If anything it seems Kourt is only doing these gummies or whatever she’s doing to stay relevant and have a “thing”. I mean, she’s a mom and a new wife, and if she wanted to focus on that I see no problem with it. It’s sad she thinks she needs to compete with the other sisters, especially since to me she really can’t be on their level with the business stuff. It seems like an afterthought. I mean gummies?? That’s almost as bad as Rob’s socks. She’s green with envy that D&G didn’t ask her to do this campaign. That’s the real reason she was crying in my opinion. That’s not Kim’s fault though.
  23. Agreed. They are a hot couple, and I love that they are older. Lynn Herring looks amazing. I especially love that she hasn’t messed with her face and has the normal signs of aging. I think between Lucy, Gladys, and Tracy there are several examples of women on this show who are aging normally and naturally, and they all look fantastic.
  24. Michael thanking Drew had the same amount of emotion as if he was thanking Drew for like picking up his dry cleaning or something. No emotions whatsoever. I mean sure, it’s a stupid plan but at least be gracious the idiot is going to jail to save your mom.
  25. That’s the impression I get as well. I mean Midge wasn’t exactly the most involved parent in the world even before she made it big. As far as having it all, whatever that even means, I’m going to say something unpopular for the times but I’m sorry - it’s not possible. Not for women or for men, but of course only women seem to even care about this concept. For men, it’s just accepted. You need to pick and choose your priorities and let the other shit slide a bit. It’s just life. I don’t think Midge was sad. She had a great life, and she’s melancholy about it as most people are as we age. But I don’t think she regrets anything one bit. And good for her (and Susie).
