  1. I get a lot of upgrades and they do have 2 meal options. But I’m with the folks that say they have never had fish on a plane. I seem to remember sushi on Delta out of Tokyo and I KNOW that Edleweise Air served fish and we were all appalled. I have had tests for a tuna allergy. They test five different finned fish. He said sometimes you are allergic to all five groups and most times just to 1 or 2 of the 5. So it is possible to be allergic to one type of finned and not another. I don’t know the details of it since both times fish was ruled out. It did seem to me it was a weird allergy since you don’t have to say no fish but I’m not sure how you know which fish will trigger it.
  2. She said in one of the first episodes that Trey was the one she never worried about. Then it was his children that Tara wanted him not to have anything to do with. So he's been mentioned almost in passing.
  3. The actress that is playing Ronnie is really doing a good job. She never said one word in that whole scene but you felt how devasting it was and the fact that she knew there was nothing she could do to stop it.
  4. I enjoy it as much as shows like HH. Are we going to discuss the elephant in the renovation? The large, fake ivy wall 6 inches from one side of the 3 sided glass cube? I bet that is the only way they were able to get historical commission sign off. But is looked weird and it destroyed the objective of a glass cube. Oh and the fact that the first thing said was sun filter on the top of the cube? So maybe better to build a room with 2 glass walls? And was I mistaken or did the contractor forget to install a roof cap of glass and copper? Is anyone going to discuss how much water is now under the wood paneling? Is it going to be removed, insulation dried out and replaced? They must think we’re all pretty stupid.
  5. Her allergy appears to have ramped up to the point with the ‘bracelet’ isn’t going to help much. I know allergy sufferers have wish for a test stick of some kind. Other folks with kids just simply reduce where they eat and where they travel.
  6. Thank you, thank you, thank you. It seemed every link I found had been ‘video removed’. I was assuming that Dateline is looking to rerun it during prime time due to the current interest in the story.
  7. I actually know a possibility. I work with someone with this type of fish allergy. They ask questions. They get specific. And they discovered that there is a current trend for fancy chefs to add a little fish broth to dishes to ‘give it some punch’. They feel it’s a secret ingredient and see no need to discuss this with staff. The other thing she discovered, after an epi pen, was that a lot of bloody mary’s are made with Clamato juice. Some Clamato juice has fish broth in it. But it is ‘contaminated’ with fish broth and therefore is not listed as an ingredient. This is the kind of thing so many people with severe food allergies runs into. For a long time people thought the peanut allergy thing was hysteria. Then children died and people took it seriously. I thought one of the follow up questions/answers on twitter was interesting. She said hit hit so fast that she couldn’t`have used her own epi pen. She was told that she would see an elevated heart rate so she’s looking at watches/Fitbit type items that would send both she and someone else a notice.
  8. I started giving her a day pass when she showed up on a moments notice to get her mother out of the Balboa apartment while John was hospitalized. Her take down of that condescending cop gives her a pass for life. This is who you want to bring with you when you need to return shoddy goods, discuss health options with your doctor and certainly when you are trying to get a cop to take you seriously.
  9. Courts don’t care if you are a douchebag that thinks DJing is a career. They’ll use 40 hours minimum wage and calculate. The judge will explain that you have a responsibility that comes first before everything but minimum housing and a small living allowance. Now if your ex says that as long as she doesn’t have to share custody you don’t have to pay then you’re good. In Jon’s case if you then break that agreement the support comes into play. So I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a judgement against him. There are a million ways someone with a nursing license can make money. She could just be a person on the other end of the computer triaging your virtual visit request. Those hours are very flexible and the money is decent. I mean it’s much better than minimum wage. She could review and update medical coding for billing. Lots of things that we would never know about.
  10. If I was guessing, oh wait I am, Kate is working. She also refinanced when interest rates were down and there had been some reboundin the market. So asking money out of the house. Plus, don’t forget this is someone that can take a dime and make it a dollar. There is always a coupon or bulk buy. But 8 kids cost money and at some point that house will have to go. Child support isn’t about who has the most money and then they pay for everything. It’s about both parents paying a fair share for support. So lets say Kate has $1000 and Jon has $100. Kate has 6 kids and Jon has 2 kids. Each kid needs $10 from Kate and $5 from Jon (because Kate has more money). So Jon needs to pay $30(6*$5) and Kate needs to pay $20 (2*$10). The net result is Jon needs to pay Kate $10. Now factor into that equation that Jon has never supported the kids since signing over custody. If he opens support discussion all that back child support will factor in. So if he’s smart he won’t say a word.
  11. She mentioned a blood test as well. It is common to do a drug screening anytime pain is involved. In fact, if you are going to be a caregiver to someone that will need opioids many hospitals also require a blood test from you before the patient can be discharged to your care. Yup, that’s the world we live in.
  12. Veronica, for all her self absorbed nonsense, what a champ when her mother needed her support. So she gets a bit of a pass from me at this point. She is fiercely in her mother's corner even when it's difficult.
  13. Ack! That would keep me tuned in for about 2 more episodes so I hope that’s not the case.
  14. And remember that Jacqueline is now Veronica for the show. The real daughter, Jacqueline, did not want her name used.
  15. Depends. If the custody agreement lists her as responsible for insurance etc then all of that needs to be signed off in court. Since she had sole custody they would also have to that change signed off in court. So if Collin’s care is not paid by Jon then Collin would be discharged to Jon’s care. Jon would then be solely responsible for Collin and his care and well being. Now, Jon would need to show that he had minimal living arrangements, home with bedrooms/furniture, healthcare, and what not. I’m sure that he did that with Hannah’s custody arrangement.
  16. I do think that some of what we need to know is so subtle that you really have to watch this hard. First the patients experiencing pain after surgery. The nurse it’s the raised eyebrow. At that point we still thought he was a doctor. In fact, do we know yet that he’s not? But we do know that his patients seem to experience enough pain that a nurse is questioning. So maybe he takes the drugs. Then there is the client of Debra’s parroting the same resume that John gave her. This is what started Debra’s sneaking around the cameras. The conversation around Toby, Debra’s dislike of the ex brother in law, we are thinking there is something there but we don’t know what it is.
  17. I really have always wondered if people really get those prices for those bags. I did like the face off between the sales person assuming she had some one with some ratty old bag in a Chanel box and Veronica laying down what she knew (she knew, I didn't) was a coveted article. But if I had to sell a bag to finance an investigation that would be the one I picked. Cuz its ugly and useless.
  18. True but originally not the Dateline. However so many people must be googling it that the Dateline link is at the top now. So I know that this series is not really getting much love on Rottentomatoes but there are enough people fascinated by it that Google is getting major hits.
  19. I have googled and tivo’d. I would like to see the Dateline about this. Since I’ve heard the podcast, I would love to see the players for real. My problem with googling is I keep getting ALL Datelines, not this one. Any assistance would be appreciated. I loved the crazy lady, ex who broke into the house. That is exactly who she was in my head when I listened to the podcast!
  20. Very shallow on my part but the Chanel bag? Anyone in the know that can enlighten me on the details? So the brother in law that he mother went over to hug after church, put a gun to her daughters head and killed her? I have to say that a red flag for me. Forgiveness yes, embracing the animal, yeah no. it makes you wonder watching her support Debra and this lunatic if she didn’t play a part in her other daughters staying with a man that eventually killed her.
  21. It’s so odd to me. Sebastian had all the negative quirks that normally make me feel so sorry for the husband. But he was so sweet and funny about wanting everything white and cheap. Let’s discuss Carson spitting out Italian in a prior episode and quite frankly some serviceable German in this one. I think that under the goofy is a pretty intelligent and talented individual. I’m also liking the design training I’m getting from Tom. The two of them together are just fun. I want to ride in the car with them. Yes, the baby live in a closet. That’s a very NYC thing to do. Sometimes it’s about a baby nurse living in the second bedroom until the baby gets older and you switch from a baby nurse to a daily nanny that doesn’t stay at the apartment. Then the baby now toddler moves to the second bedroom.
  22. First let me say that Ian Garten’s BFF, Brian Boitano, has not one but multiple Bertazonni ranges in all his houses. Just sayin. I for one didn’t have a problem with the turquoise fireplace. The color choices in the kitchen, living room etc would not be mine. But I think picking a theme and going with it is the way to go. If someone doesn’t paint a something turquoise then we end up with white shaker cabinets with white subway tile. There is no way I would leave that oppressive dark woodwork. It looked like something from the Middle Ages.
  23. I’m calling it. Chandler has a BIG problem with women. Ashton and Ross were trying to explain the salad on the shoulder to Rhylee well maybe then need to explain that to Chandler. Kate outranks him. I loved when he said it was the second time she disrespected him and she corrected him that it was way more than that. Notice who the Captain asked about the reef and boat docking? Ross not Chandler. Seriously love Ashton and Ross just rolling up their sleeves and getting shit done. It was a lot of people and there was no way one person, well one Caroline, could possibly handle it all.
  24. She is doubling down on the tone deaf with the candle. As a born and raised Catholic I can tell you that I never saw a devotional candle until I was out it the world. This is a cultural thing. And yes the pictures on them are fairly graphic. So these candles are a part of a Hispanic Catholic tradition. Two birds with one stone Lu. Now I did see a Brittany Spears and a Michael Jackson candle in some store. I don’t remember them being this on point for their religious nature.
  25. No one got an instagram send off. Shortly after that consultant was hired the staff - with the exception of the maid - were never seen nor heard on instagram again. So he could still be working for SG, just not as a driver. The only time you see the office or the staff in the office now is when people are doing interviews or the RHONY cameras. I believe that consultant instituted proper HR guidelines for the business. And that was a good thing to do. There just isn’t room for crazy office antics in this day and age.
