S11.E03: Sutton's Gotta Give
Raiderred replied to jewel21's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
I always thought LVP quit because the others were calling her out for her bullshit and she just couldn't take it being called out for it. And ran away from having to deal with that (Throw me to the wolves, and I run away with my tail between my legs). 100% agree -

I am not digging Garth, at all. He seems to have zero personality. He is not my definition of handsome, either, but then everyone has their opinion. You can have him Lu. -
Eboni K. Williams

Yahoo Entertainment did a story on last night's episode about Eboni calling out Ramona. Eboni is getting zero support in the comments section. Sorry I wasn't able to link the story. -
I don't give two shits about seeing or knowing about Teresa's boyfriend! Bravo, please stop this nonsense now!

S05.E16: Southfork Goes South

So dumb that I ff'd through the entire scene. B-O-R-I-N-G -
I am a barrel racer in Texas and knew of Maggie Green and her friend Gail Shanahan's horrible accident at the bridge. Many of us traveled that route to and from Fort Smith for the Old Fort Days futurity. It was such a horrible day in our barrel racing community. I can't believe it has almost been 20 years ago. The story about Ray being murdered was also flying around the barrel community when it happened. I am so glad they found that piece of filth, Dani, guilty!

S05.E15: Straight Outta the '80s
Raiderred replied to PrincessPurrsALot's topic in The Real Housewives Of Dallas
I grew up on a ranch in tiny(it was at the time-sigh) Lucas, Texas and me and my friends would ride our horses all over the area and sometimes we made it to Southfork. There were ALWAYS tourists there and they were mostly Asian and they loved the show. I remember being asked by some Japanese tourists if they could get pictures of us on our horses. lol what great memories from my childhood. My family had a lot of ranch/farmland in that area and it truly saddens me to see that area so built up and the open fields are basically gone. It cracks me up to hear those women talk about Parker being sooo out in the country and sooo far from Dallas. I live 60 miles from Dallas and they would freak and think they were for sure out in the sticks on my ranch. I also cringe when I see any show try to be "cowboys or cowgirls". We actually EARN those belt buckles we do not buy them! Also, we wear straw hats from spring to Labor day and felt after Labor day. I do not know when this was filmed but it looked like the warm months. Also, Mama Dee is vile and most REAL Texans do not act like her or the crew on "Dallas". -

The Incredible Dr. Pol - General Discussion
Raiderred replied to Meredith Quill's topic in The Incredible Dr. Pol
Wreck 'em Tech! Love seeing my alma mater being discussed. We have a ranch and the extra vets from Tech will help a great deal for all of us with large animals. -
I'm a Texan and in most areas of the state it is not a good idea to live in a trailer but sometimes economics doesn't allow for anything else so you'd better have a plan of where to go during a tornado. Been in tornado situations my entire 50+ years of life and it is nerve wracking but you have to have a plan. We installed an 8'x8' steel safe room in our master bedroom and have spent many a spring storm in there. We live way out on a ranch and we always lose electricity and cell service once a storm is almost on top of us so you literally sit in the storm shelter waiting for the worst but it is built to withstand an EF 5 so if the whole house crumbles around us we will be ok....still sucks when they roll in but hey, that is life in the Lone Star state. BTW, Kenea lives in Nacogdoches(Nacanowhere! as we say in Texas) and that is east Texas which is prone to a lot of tornados. Yikes!

S05.E01: Bursting The Quarantine Bubble
Raiderred replied to EtheltoTillie's topic in The Real Housewives Of Dallas
I think I love you for this comment! I don't do virtue signaling in real life and don't care for it in lame Bravo shows. -
I agree as hormones are such powerful things in both females and males. The fall of estrogen during a menstual cycle, perimenopause or menopause is a real thing and many women suffer greatly. I had a hysterectomy with ovaries removed 5 years ago and was thrown into immediate menopause and it was brutal. I now use estrogen shots and I am back to being sane again but if my estrogen gets low due to stress, which is a huge robber of estrogen, then I get all kinds of issues from depression to UTI's. It pays to keep track of hormones if one suffers from big fluctuations. And there is my hormone talk for the day. 😉

S10.E19: Reunion (Part 3)

Exactly! I am not a fan of Garcelle's as she seems like she was "phoning it in" all season. Boring. -

S10.E10: Black Ties and White Lies
Raiderred replied to jewel21's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Awww BICHON, grow those bangs out and give the finger to anyone that says a damn thing bad about them! I am an 80's teen and I have grown soooo tired of the "part in the middle...and barrel curls" look. I tell my nieces this all the time. LOL I'm not one to talk because although I do not part down the middle(right side part)...yikes on me! I do not have bangs but would gladly take some like Kyle has when bangs come back. -

I hear ya! He seems as dense as a box of hair and he seems like he drinks a lot and loses his temper...just a vibe I get. I actually think Denise is a strong individual and I mostly like her but I am surprised she lets A-A-ron boss her so much. I see a glimmer of impatience with her though, too. I remember when Denise and Rinna had their own reality shows years ago and I enjoyed both of them. Denise was always with her kids, her mom and dad and lots of dogs. Sweet. She seemed very close to her parents and I'll bet she deeply misses her mom. Sigh -
Right?!? What is that all about? It does make me chuckle, too.

S10.E04: All's Fair in Glam and War
Raiderred replied to jewel21's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
The Denise and A-A-ron's(tip hat to Key&Peele)"secret life" discussion at dinner was one of the best scenes of all the HW's! Those two are high, drunk or both at all times! Soooo embarrassing but so fun to watch! -
S10.E01: The Crown Isn't So Heavy
Raiderred replied to Door County Cherry's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
I agree wholeheartedly. I have been sick of the part down the middle straight long hair or barrel curls for the last umpteen years. Get out of the 60's and 70's look, girls/ladies! I have two nieces that are in their early 20's and I wish they would try something else. I think bangs have been gone way too long, but hey I am a Gen Xer so I remember when bangs were the sh!t. We had so many looks in the 80's and 90's and not just bangs but those of us with curly hair loved our curly hair. 😉
