  1. There was an EF 3 tornado that went through Dallas(Preston Hollow) on Sunday night. No one was hurt or injured but a ton of damage to houses, businesses and huge trees downed. Preston Hollow is where the Bushs live and I believe maybe Kameron or Stephanie. Thankfully no deaths or injuries but what a mess down there. Most people were watching the Cowboys play and all of a sudden the reports came across our TV's. There were four tornadoes in the North Texas area so we were all on watch. There are still a lot of power outages from it even today. I wonder if anyone knows if any of the HW 's were effected?
  2. OH LORDY, what in the fresh hell was that?!?! Is she such a prude that she doesn't even know how to kiss a man? It was so very embarrassing!
  3. Why is it that everyone does EVERYTHING to their vaginas at menopause EXCEPT give it the estrogen that it and the entire body need???! The reason everything dries up is lack of estrogen ladies. It sad that estrogen became such a boogieman in 2002! It's a disservice to all menopausal women. A little testosterone will give that libido back, too, because that also drops some at menopause. These are natural to the body just like insulin and thyroid meds. There are a small percentage that can't have estrogen but it is a very small percentage so start asking your doctors to stop with treating all those symptoms with drugs and mutilation to the vagina and give you some ESTROGEN and maybe some testosterone for the low libido and low energy! Sorry to be on a soapbox but to have needlessly lost my precious ovaries because..."You don't need those or your uterus after your fertile years." Sigh. I'll go to the grave with my hormones. 😉
  4. If this chick is not still breast feeding one of the dozen kids she has produced then she needs to have her hormones checked because she has a big imbalance. I also think it is like saying to the older, menopausal women, "Look at me and me leaky breasts-I can still reproduce." Lady, you share waaaay too much! At this rate I am waiting for the younger ones to show a bloody tampon at the table or the older ones to show how they pee their pants when the cough, sneeze or laugh. This show is horrendous!
  5. Karey reminds me of Celine Dion with her looks and her inflections in her voice. She is getting on my nerves with all the therapist talk and butting in on all these women. Slow your roll, lady.
  6. My alma mater, Texas Tech University, will be opening a large animal vet school in Amarillo, Texas in 2021 so it should relieve some of the shortage of large animal vets in practice in the next 6-7 years. We raise Quarter horses and it is very hard to find very good performance horse vets around Texas, Oklahoma or Louisiana. We have a great vet at the track near Dallas and he is worth the long drive through Dalas traffic to give the best treatment but he will be retiring soon so who will fill his shoes? Sigh.
  7. Being a Texan, I am in Dallas quite often (Uptown and SMU area) and I rarely see such plastic surgery nightmares! Pleeeeease don't think we Texans act and look so ridiculous! That Dee is a fright and quite the evil bitch! D'Andra hang in there and get that old bitter bitch's money! Brandi's daughters are evil little spawns and quite homely to boot.
  8. I'm sure that is correct but I had never heard the term and this is what those guys were throwing around back then and this was the late 80's and I was 19 or 20 years old.
  9. This "train" talk brings back very sad memories for me. When I was in college, in the way, way, back times, I went up to my boyfriend's dorm room and a lot of guys on his floor were talking about a sorority girl and a "train" that occurred the night before. I was so naive at the time I asked my boyfriend about it and he told me. The girl was passed out drunk and so many guys took advantage of her and raped her. I felt angry and sick in my heart and in those days there was no one tell or at least it wasn't something that you would go to the campus police or really any adult, but I remember thinking that I hope everyone of these men have daughters in their future and they are haunted for the rest of their rotten lives. My boyfriend was with me on the night of the incident so I know he was no way involved and he was just as upset as I was. This story was around for a while and there were some guys that would think it was so funny and it made me want to puke. I think it has happened quite a lot and the stories go untold. Sigh.
  10. Brawny(paper towels) and her douchy husband can go now. Talk about some skeevy try hards. The spiral necklace🤣 is so cheesy and the meeting with their daughter seemed so rehearsed that I thought they didn't even know each other and they are all blood relatives. Yikes! OC is spiraling the drain for me. It's getting extremely hard to watch.
  11. Can someone decode this damn franchise for me! I have watched every episode of this stupid franchise and I could NOT figure out what the hell Emily, Gina or the entire dinner table was talking about!! And also, OC stop with all the screeching and sexual innuendos, it's all gross.
  12. "Well, this is a surprise" Said no one that has watched the show!
  13. WEINER DOGS! One of the best hunters on the face of the earth! Most people don't even know that Dachshund in German is literally, "Badger Dog"-Dachs Hund. They usually do not know their own size and will take on anything, which can be a disadvantage if the other dog or animal is much bigger and more tenacious. I love my sausage dogs but dang that prey drive can be a bit much. I've never owned a Westie or JR but think they are adorable. My barn cats are probably 15 lbers and they haul in some rats, not often, that are probably 8lbs! So gross!
  14. Kelly was vile with her cat issues. If she doesn't like them then she needs to stay away from them. Believe me Kelly, they sense your fear and dislike. Vomit! I live on a ranch and we rescued two male kittens from certain death of starvation and they are awesome and do an awesome job of keeping the mice, rats and raccoons away from our barn and shop. We live in a very rural area that gets more than it's share of stray dogs and cats and I would actually take in more cats but I think my two old brothers would not be happy with any new kids in town. LOL They are sweet hearts and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to hunt. They leave us "presents" all the time even with daily cat kibble available. We have taken in 4 stray dogs that were either hurt or in danger of becoming road kill. Some humans can be hideous when it comes to animals and I turns my stomach! I'm so grateful that shelters exist but I wish we could educate the community more as to either NEVER get animals or learn the correct way to care for them and for godsake get them spayed and neutered! We see it in our area with horses and donkeys, too, they are in great need of groceries. Sigh
  15. Right? What exactly was done to her face? Do they shave down the jawline? Those jaws were huge! I remember her having her dad's jawline but I was taken aback by those old scenes.
  16. I think it was pretty bad for Ramona, Dorinda, Sonja and Tinsley to berate Lu about her sobriety when I think they all have problems with alcohol or as Lu would say, "Olcohol". I felt sorry for Barbara and I think she seems like a cool person. If she is not asked back next year she should count herself lucky.
  17. Thank you so much. I have horses and they can easily live to 30-35 years and I find the pain is quite equal. I don't think I could hurt anymore than I do now after losing my dog of 14.5 years. She had cancer way back in 2012 and if I'd have lost her then I would have been just as grief stricken as I am today. I don't think I could have loved that nugget anymore. Dang she was such a good girl. I always told my husband that I wanted to clone her because she was so easygoing and lovable. She was one of those one of a kinds. I can't even remember a time that she drove me crazy in all the 14 years that I had her. She was perfect. The joy, love and laughter she brought to my life is deeply, deeply missed.
  18. @film noire, I give a 1000 thumbs up for this post! I have had many dogs in my past(I'm old-50!) that have died and as crushing as it is to lose them I always had one or two with me and boy was it a life saver. I lost my girl in May, she was 14.5 but died suddenly, and I am still in disbelief. I still have two other munchkins and they have definitely helped my grieving process. Obviously, Kaycee will never ever be replaced but neither can the ones before her or the two I have now. Sigh. Unfortunately, one is going to be 13 in Oct and I am scared that she will be gone way too close to my other that just died. She has seizures and it just takes a big toll on an elderly dog even with seizure meds. My other girl is only 2 so she should be with us a very long time. Science needs to figure out a way to extend a dog's life to at least 25 years, AT LEAST! Damn, they are gone too soon!
  19. @Sarah Heart, I know how you feel as I lost my precious girl on May 1st. I'm so sorry for your loss and hate to know others are going through the same hurt. My heart broke for Tinsley and I thought Beth was a pure, evil asshole. And to think I felt sad and sorry for her when she lost Cookie. I also don't understand the callousness of all of the other women when Tinsley originally lost Bambi. People can be so cruel. I never had children and my dogs ARE my children so a few don't even understand the unbelievable pain we go through. My heart aches for my baby, but hey, I have friends and family that understand and that's all I need. Grief is grief and it hurts no matter what. Hugs to anyone that has lost a furchild, it's brutal.
  20. This franchise is quite boring even with LVP. I just can't follow the Dorit/dog story and honestly do not care so I just FF through it. I don't really like any of these women so I don't think I would have even noticed any one of them missing let alone LVP. It's all so inorganic. I have never liked Erika but I do think she is pretty but when they do flashbacks to her early years 20's/30's she is kind of homely so she has had great work done somewhere. Kyle seems the same and at one point her work looked almost natural and it seems now she has reach the point of no return...it seems everyone that continues with procedures and such get the same outcome. Everyone morphs into the same woman or man! 😖
  21. I'm right there with ya! I was bawling through that scene and FO Ramona and Sonja! I lost my precious 14.5 year old girl on May 1st and it is still heart wrenching and excruciatingly painful. I have lost so many fur babies and the pain is the same. Most of us are with these little ones a lot more than with any human. I also can't imagine my life without my dogs. The great moments are GREAT but the sick and dying moments are so very painful. Unfortunately, it is the price we pay for loving them. Big hugs to all those with animals and all those going through the rough loss.
  22. I think she has low estrogen high testosterone due to menopause and she has a lot of hair thinning, esoecially the classic male pattern balding. I think a couple of the wigs looked pretty good on her but she is still a huge pain in the ass. I noticed Dougie did not accompany her to the park to paint. Me thinks Doug hit the road.
  23. Thank you. Yes, she was very amazing. The kindest, calmest, coolest little thing I ever had the joy to have in my life. And yes, I wish science would come up with some genetic something to allow our pets to stay much, much longer in a healthy state. My girl was healthy right up until the seizure so it is such a shock to know she is gone. She was there through some very rough times in my life. RIP my sweet little Kaycee. Thank you.
  24. Thank you very much. Nope, they NEVER let you down, ever. She will be remembered forever in her mommy's heart.
  25. I really appreciate that. Thank you so very much. Dang, I just wish these little munchkins lived longer.
