  1. I was disappointed to see Javonny go. I loved his personality and sometimes you just want to see people like him win in life. Hopefully his love life will perk up after being on the show. And really? Jeremy was saved? Mr 80% conditioner? Come on! Although I wish Cash wasn't going after Cinco (not impressed with him), I'm happy that she is taking her chance. Part of the pep talk she gave herself was that she was going to take the risk. She built up a little confidence and is saying what's on her mind. I don't see it as arrogance but rather someone who realizes her worth, even when compared against someone considered to be more physically attractive. Cash, do you! I just wish the object of her affection was more deserving. I thought it was funny that Shannon considers Josh to be immature. When Josh was talking to Cinco I thought he gave him some pretty solid advice. He's had experience with both Trina and Cash. A question to ask himself is which version of himself he prefers. Others have noticed the difference in his personality and level of engagement when he's with Cash vs Trina. And I think that's one of the things Cash was pointing out. Looking forward to Casa Amore...
  2. Now that John McCain's daughter is officially leaving I can officially watch again. I have *no* idea why she was spouting that the discouragement for taking the vaccine is not coming from her favorite network. As a part of my civic duty (and apparently pain-seeking behavior), I occasionally tune into Fux News. I have seen so many segments about the vaccine that go beyond basic information and veer strongly into the anti-vaccine territory. Anyway, I'm here with the rest of you for the countdown. I can watch this show again!
  3. After watching this episode and reading the comments, I don't have a lot to add. I still think Leah adds nothing but chaos. And I am still happy about Eboni's addition to the show. Is she perfect? Nope, but neither is anyone else. And I am good with the discussion of real life issues. I am here for her all day, errrrryday!
  4. Okay, I'll give it a shot. Watching that scene back, almost all were speaking with raised voices. Ramona even became frustrated, stood up and shouted. Leah was yelling when she left. The educated LuAnn at one point started shouting. Yet, the one person being called out as angry was Eboni. Are black women especially aware of when this term is used? Definitely. It's a stereotype. In general, there can be a lack of understanding and awareness of experiences of marginalized groups (ie white fragility, discomfort). And when it is raised as an issue by a member of the marginalized group, they are perceived as making everything about race when it is their actual, day to day experience.
  5. I really wanted Leah to go and be with her family. If she was looking for support from dear friends, she was at the wrong house. If she needed some space to grieve, she was at the wrong house. If she wanted some peace and quiet, she was popping off at the wrong house. If she wanted to have an entertaining discussion of the 'c-word' and the 'p-word' at the dinner table, she's on the wrong show. (This is in no way an endorsement of anyone's behavior. All of it was a whole lot of loud noise)
  6. Man, that baby. I can still picture it 😆. It absolutely was creepy and at this point I'm just hoping it doesn't appear in my dreams. It seemed like the camera just lingered on it as though they were proud of what they had done. It allowed far too much time to study it and get even more creeped out when it's eyes opened. Just nooooooooo! "Have you ever seen something so beautiful?" - I started laughing when Nic asked that question while staring at robobaby.
  7. I'm not sure what Meghan was referring to about a racial slur trending on twitter for hours. I spend entirely too much time on twitter including time before, during and after Biden's speech and the rebuttal. I don't recall seeing a slur trending. I do recall Tim Scott trending and people reacting to the speech. Maybe it wasn't trending high enough for me to see it in my list of trends. Who knows. I'll go back to not watching this show. I tuned in today for the opening few minutes and regretted it. I never made it to any actual guests.
  8. I live in Minnesota and will be getting my first shot tomorrow in South Carolina. I decided to become a snowbird this winter and escaped the snow.
  9. I'm sad to say that I'm going to have to let this show go. I'm also one of those long time viewers who watched Politically Incorrect. I even went to a taping when he did a few shows in DC when I lived there. I should have never watched as soon as I saw that Charlemagne the whatever was an actual guest. He received a lot of attention due to the comment that then candidate Biden made during their interview. But it should have ended there. Suddenly, CTG was a hot guest on shows on which he should have never been a participant. I tried my best to ignore him. I remember seeing him on a show where he expressed that Biden didn't have a plan to address minority issues. Everything he was yapping on about was present in Biden's plan. Charlatan just hadn't bothered to read the plan that was available on Biden's campaign website. Is Bill desperate for guests now? I've been so disappointed in this show recently that it's time to finally pull the plug.
  10. They can be mad at Braunwyn. I don't have to defend Braunwyn to have a problem with what I saw on the reunion tonight. Sporting a 'Drunk Wives Matter' cap while denying its connection to Black Lives Matter is crazy. Then saying 'I have black friends!'. And to say "I'm black!" and to somehow relate that to the daily lives of people who have actually suffered due to the color of their skin? 'I'm not political'? Get out of here.
  11. I can't stand Kelly. Over the years, I've found her behavior to be horrible. I don't see her getting any better and her yelling "I'm black!!!" scored no points tonight.
  12. I'm with Katie. Those who believed the BIG LIE and acted out of order do need to be shown actual facts (again). Not believing those facts and instead believing the lies of your 'leader' is cultish. The word deprogram doesn't apply to every Republican. But if you are going around filing lawsuits to restrain President Biden (the latest lawsuit is crazy), breaking into the Capitol building, and fighting a war over this election we probably need to have a conversation about your mental stability. As far as MM goes, what is the saying? A hit dog will holler.
  13. I'd stopped watching The View right after I was in the audience during Rachel Maddow's appearance. When MM left for maternity leave I started watching again and really enjoyed Ana's participation. It's taken exactly two days for me to turn it back off again. Behavior like today's spat isn't why I tune into television shows. I'm out.
  14. First, I don't watch this show like I used to. And I'm not that invested in these women/characters. My somewhat detached opinions... Brandi: Why does she get an ounce of credibility? She's one of the reasons I actually completely stopped watching for a while. She's a shit stirrer and has treated people horribly. Giving her attention and space only makes sense for drama as she was known for that. I think she's the vile one. I thought we were done with her years ago. Erika: I don't have an issue with her. Regarding comments about her not having female friends, I remember her stating that she has developed friendships with the other women when earlier in her life, she wouldn't have allowed herself to do so. She manages her relationships, including working through confrontation and moving on. I have no issue with her confronting Denise's husband as I found him to be condescending. And regarding when Erika's husband was coming to see her show, who cares. If Denise's sex life is no one's business, so is the decision made on when Erika's husband was going to her show. Not sure why there is judgment here. Every marriage ain't the same. Garcelle: I like her. However, her reasons for not going with the rest of them to see Erika's play were lame. It was the size of the plane. It was her ex-husband's refusal to change the schedule. She was busy. Whatever. If it's like that, just say you didn't want to go. Sutton: I actually like her, too. She lives in a different world and has been adjusting to a new one. She seems to have good intentions, though and her mistakes seem harmless enough. Call me, Sutton. I'll hop on a chartered Gulf Stream any day. Rinna: Shut up. This Denise thing became the season. I didn't get the Heather Locklear comment as I guess I wasn't paying attention back in 1948 when that happened. But apparently Heather Locklear reached out to Brandi recently. And since the pages of texts in Lisa's hands must have originated with Brandi, what exactly is the connection here? It certainly doesn't sound positive. They're 11 and this is exhausting. Kyle: Oh never mind..... I've run out of F's to give for the day. That was more than I thought I would type!
  15. I've watched too much of this show. I'm the type that usually finishes a series once I start, with the hope that things will turn around. But I think it's time for me to throw in the towel. A few things... I can remember them saying that one of the homes closed. They didn't show the process, but just mentioned a particular home. It was around 9M. I didn't like Peggy from the beginning. Noel had his issues and I thought he came across as someone who avoids confrontation. He still has some lessons to learn. But I was glad to see him openly apologize to Peggy for what went wrong in the showing. I think the showing was set up as a bit of a 'gotcha' but whatever. He 'got got'. Noel clearly has some things to learn and this was an opportunity to head in that direction. It could be editing but Peggy (who later said 'if you have an issue come to me'), was shown multiple times slamming Noel to others. Who didn't know she had a problem with him? She told everyone. And her flipping out at that open house was inexcusable. Hey! I have a baby on the way? Did you know that? A BABY! Oh and I noticed the microaggressions as well. I deal with them too often not to notice.
  16. Good grief. Why wear the dress if you can't manage to sit down? Why wear the shoes if you can't walk down a flight of stairs? Some of the outfits this season are absolutely ridiculous.
  17. Exactly! When they showed that scene I converted the currency and it was literally a few cents.
  18. Very sad. There have been a number of suicides from those on this show. I don't know if I am recalling the number correctly, but isn't this the fourth?
  19. I have to say that I was surprised at Meghan's size when in the studio audience. My first thought was, wow the camera really does add pounds. I thought that Sunny and Abby were pretty thin. Joy commented that she has been doing weight watchers together with the comedian who warms up the audience. She gave the comedian some praise for losing 32 pounds. Quite honestly, Meghan looked pretty average. Due to where I was seated I spent more time looking at her back than any other angle. But still, based on that and what I saw between segments, I didn't see 18 to 22 at all. Maybe it's the wardrobe choices that aren't helping.
  20. lol if that were the case I would have just not taken it for sure. But since it was Rachel's book I definitely took it. It was definitely a pro-Rachel audience. When she came out to take her seat, the audience went nuts. And when Meghan was referring to her time on Fox, the guy in front of me made a disapproving noise. Meghan said "I don't know what that was about" (or something like that) in response. Not sure if the noise was heard on air or not. One more silly note - There is a comedian that warms up the audience before the show and during every break. She asks each person where they are from, acknowledges special occasions, etc. A woman in the audience said she wanted to be a Whoopi impersonator. Whoopi told her that sometimes that can be tough. Sometimes she doesn't like the reactions she gets being her so try something else... like growing weed. It would be easier and much more lucrative. 😁
  21. After Thursday's live show we were told to stay for the kids segment. I'm looking forward to looking at the DVR recording to see how that turned out. It took quite a while and Joy had to do the 'closing' line twice. The producer said the first closing line was "stepped on" so they asked her to do it again. She jokingly said she didn't want to and to give her another line. They took a few minutes to come up with another line. Then they restarted and filmed it. Also, they would prompt her to keep asking the kids questions as they needed more material. The first closer was a line about the kids not being old enough to vote. The second was a reference to 'The View in 2033' or something like that.
  22. It was the actual book. They handed you a copy as you exited the studio. Luckily I was heading back to the hotel anyway so I was able to leave it there before going back out. It was the same thing for her book tour stop. You were handed a copy of the book as you entered.
