  1. I hear ya. I think their conversations are pretty healthy. As a minority, I’d absolutely be covering such topics as they impact relationships and life. Hopefully, they show other aspects of their relationship that are less heavy.
  2. True. They also check for a bunch of withdrawals that are $9,999. There is also a limit of $10K for cash purchases. Anything at that amount or above requires reporting.
  3. Just who needs $10K in cash in their purse for Christmas gifts? Oh, that’s right. Dorit.
  4. Jen - Just say you will not miss a thing about this season. Maybe she's a masochist,
  5. Tamra is a mess. I'd be glad to never see her on the show again. And, no the excuses and crocodile tears don't help.
  6. That's probably true. As for me, there was a period of time when I didn't watch this show, specifically because I didn't want to see Tamra on my TV screen. At this rate, I'll probably bail again.
  7. I was so disappointed by that elimination. The contestant was so accomplished and impressive. And I was looking forward to seeing what they would have created if given more time.
  8. That's exactly how I feel about Shaq and Kirsten. She's nice. But every time she talks, I picture a 'vacancy' sign on her forehead. If I muted my TV, every conversation looked like they were talking about the weather. There is just no 'there' there.
  9. I hated the fake out too. It just felt manipulative and who needs that. As far as the TV version of death, I was okay with it and appreciated the serenity at the end. I don't think she actually was clear eyed enough to see an eagle. Rather, I took it as a beautiful day filled with the sights and sounds of life. The water, birds, trees, people, fish, etc. all represented nature in its full glory while another life passes. I liked this show a lot more than I thought I would when it premiered.
  10. First, I haven't watched the final two episodes. I went through a period of loss during a short period (father, mother, then only sibling) so I'm just not in the headspace to watch. However, I appreciated reading the comments particularly after (sort of) watching this for years. I wish I'd been reading here along because it's good to meet others who share my loathing of Theo. Anyway, regarding the casket. When we brought my father home from the hospital to spend his last days at home, I went to the funeral home and made arrangements. It might seem weird. But I'm usually in some form of control and 'managing' or at least contributing. And this was one of the very few situations in which I could control absolutely nothing. My brain needed to feel like I was doing something, helping, just anything. So, I made the arrangements, selected the casket, picked flowers, etc. I felt like I had done something.. and ultimately it helped.
  11. My goodness. I actually stopped watching this show for some time. Then, I decided to give it another shot. It's not any better. Tre's lack of accountability for her actions is inexcusable in a functioning adult. It's not cute. And Melissa's participation in the back and forth doesn't help. I can't go down the road of Melissa vs Theresa because they both suck. It's not entertaining. I give up.
  12. Jennifer Aydin does remember they are being filmed right? I don't understand this bit about sharing secrets on camera other than advancing the anti-Margaret theme. Weird.
  13. Tre was happy to answer and throw her niece under the bus. "They were close but Antonia...." blah, blah, blah. While I wish she had let Tre finish her sentence, I can relate to Melissa not wanting her to get out a negative comment.
  14. I can honestly say this is the first time I've ever heard/read this sentiment. And I'd like to think he didn't choose her based on some stereotype. Anyway, he sure regretted that choice. I think it's interesting that he called her vicious but chose her anyway. He knew enough to see a red flag, but still drove into the ditch. Hopefully he's reflected on that choice. 'Hey Zack, tell us about your wife!' 'Well, she's vicious. Want to meet her?' 'No, thanks'
  15. Same. I binged them all yesterday.
  16. I'll add Micah to my list of dislikes.
  17. Absolutely. I'm diabetic and was prescribed Ozempic. Imagine my shock when I went for my monthly refill, and it seemed to be out *everywhere*. My insurance company was able to hunt down a supply but, by then, I was overdue for multiple doses.
  18. I should have visited this forum a long time ago. The best thing about watching this episode was laughing at this thread later. 🤣 I can't even add a comment on the content of the show as you have all summed up my feelings so well. Thanks for the laughs!
  19. Halfway through tonight's episode, I asked myself why I watch this show. I couldn't come up with a good answer.
  20. At this point I'm prepared to have no answers at all. 😕
