  1. YES. I couldn't agree more. I'm always glad for more chances to see SA, but It really bugs the hell out of me that Arrow is being used to prop up Flash. Let it stand on its own two feet and be a success (or not). Arrow had to make it on its own; Flash should have to, as well.
  2. I respect SA, so I haven't watched the Flash pilot because the leak pissed him off so much. I'd like to say if the Arrow premiere gets leaked, I won't watch that one either...but, I don't think I have that kind of self-control because I NEED TO KNOW WHAT THEY SAY, TOO! lol
  3. This is what I've never understood about the Laurel fans. I would think they'd want better for their favorite character than to be wrapped up in the toxic waste dump that is Lauriver/Lauliver (seriously, why is there more than one name). Oliver is MY favorite and, Olicity shipping aside, I'm certainly glad it doesn't seem like they're going to pursue the O/L relationship anymore. They bring out the absolute worst in each other and I want better for him than that. Based on the awful tweets I've seen directed at the writers and SA, it reads a little too much like "she needs a man to be relevant" for my liking.
  4. This was my exact thought after the way she behaved on Saturday. Between the IGN interview and the retort to Geoff Johns(!), all I did was cringe for her all day (and that's saying something since I am not a fan...at all). You should meet him in person sometime. The camera does NOT do that man justice!
  5. I think this is a brilliant analysis! It would certainly explain a LOT.
  6. For what it's worth - Byron Mann (Yao Fei), Paul Blackthorne and John Barrowman are all about the same age - 46, 45 and 47...respectively
  7. Just for clarity's sake...SA will only be at Fan Expo on August 30th and 31st (Saturday and Sunday).
  8. Harvey said he was one of her emergency contacts. Maybe the hospital couldn't reach her parents or they just hadn't arrived yet.
  9. I've already deleted it from my DVR, but didn't Daphne mention feeling like the luckiest girl because she had two dads to walk her down the aisle?
  10. It made me dislike Daphne more than I already did...does that count?
  11. Isn't he staying with Callie's friend Daphne?
  12. I've heard it mentioned on the show. I think she wants him to get it reversed? I don't pay close enough attention, but I think that's where the discussion has gone.
  13. I call my ex Satan, too lol Can't bring myself to use his name.
  14. You and me, both. I wasn't expecting to feel at all emotional about this show, but Feeny did me in. The pilot didn't have the same "feel" for me as BMW, but I still liked it. Ben's new nose, however, is really weirding me out.
  15. I was going to say the same thing. I worked as a teacher's assistant for a couple of years while I was in college and I had to have fingerprints on file before I could start.
  16. He posted yesterday on Facebook that now he'll also be there Friday night. He said something about "overflow" and he hoped this would take care of it. Awesome guy. He'll also be at Denver Comic Con - June 13th to 15th (as of right now, he'll only be there on Saturday the 14th) http://denvercomiccon.com/dcc/guests/stephen-amell/
  17. I agree and will add "and have no problem writing for every other character"? I think there's plenty of blame to go around, though. It's obvious to me that whoever writes for the character has no idea what to do with her, but KC also has no clue what to do with anything she is given (there have been a few good things and she's dropped the ball every time).
  18. My issue has always been that I don't feel like I'm watching a character named Laurel...I feel like I'm watching Katie Cassidy "acting". Everyone else on the show sucks me into their character and I completely forget that the person isn't real. That just doesn't happen with Laurel. Like Sakura said, she doesn't feel real.
  19. I'm re-watching season 1, so I'll have to check to be sure, but didn't Oliver even say something along these lines? He wanted her to represent him because she'd never believe he could care enough about the city to be the vigilante? Have I totally fabricated this in my head? lol
  20. He was. Briefly. I'm not sure if there are plans to bring him back, but his character left about 3/4 of the way through this last season. He was good on the show, but nothing to write home about, IMO. I've never seen one minute of Smallville, but I've heard people talk about JH having played GA. When he showed up on Revenge, I remember thinking "he's cute, but he's no Stephen Amell". Although, admittedly, I'm quite possibly SA's #1 fan, so... ;)
  21. I'm OK with Sara (not freaking Laurel!) and/or Roy helping Team Arrow out from time-to-time, but I want the official team to remain as Oliver, Dig and Felicity. Other people throw off their dynamic.
  22. She knows Nyssa was the one who kidnapped Dinah. She described her to Quentin as "the woman who took Mom". She said they did several takes and she couldn't stop smiling throughout all of them, right? Maybe the director tried to get the scene correct, but it wasn't working and they were out of time. I guess I'd give a similar answer to "why didn't they just cut it differently?" I just re-watched that scene and there would have been very little they could have used from that scene since KC was smiling like a lunatic for the majority of it...from right after Sara said "I think that this would look good on you" (before Laurel turned around for Sara to put the jacket on her) until after she turned around and said "it fits". THIS. You can't have your cake and eat it, too, KC.
