  1. This story is written so poorly. The main thing here is that a male Targaryen must be on the Iron Throne. Okay. These Westerosi men just simply cannot abide a woman, Targaryen or otherwise, to be on the Iron Throne, so let her son inherit it. But wait, We want the right Targaryen to be on the throne; one whose father was Targaryen is optimal! Cause we don't want no female Targaryen running things around here! Her girl cooties will even infect her sons! This is like watching bad incel fanfic. Rhaenyra's sons are part Targaryen; so are Alicent's sons! This is why this whole situation is so nonsensical. If Alicent wanted Aegon II to be Rhaenyra's heir as opposed to her own son, it probably would have been cool but Rhaenyra has to be Queen first. This whole war is starting because the men around the King didn't want a woman running them. The only roadblock to any type of peaceful solution is not having a penis.
  2. I'm willing to bet that since the Red Keep is populated by dragons, there would be no weapons designed to kill them there. Other regions in Westeros? Possibly. Let's remember that Helaena never really had any bond with Alicent. When she was born, she was always screaming her head off whenever Alicent held her. Her birth must not have been as "easy" as Aegon's... It was a race to see who would ultimately control the new King. Alicent knew that Otto would have Aegon cosign all kinds of heinous shyt if he had Aegon's ear. Helaena has a dragon. When Viserys and crew goes back to King's Landing after Laena's funeral, you see 3 dragons flying back while the rest of the family was on the boat. Laenor's dragon? If Sea Smoke didn't follow Laenor to Essos, he is probably at Driftmark.
  3. Rhaenys didn't intend to raid the coronation. Remember, Otto had her imprisoned in her room. He fully intended to keep her and her dragon from rallying to Rhaenyra's side. Rhaenys wanted to leave King's Landing with her dragon. Otto probably had the Dragon pit masters attempt to keep Melys in the pit to take a dragon off the chessboard and kill Rhaenys later. She probably had no choice but to go up instead of out the door and took a little time to let Alicent know her intimidation attempt didn't work. Also there were no nobles present at the coronation other than the ones on the dias, right? This is practically a day after Viserys' death. No one outside of King's Landing even knows that Viserys is dead yet. Daemon and Rhaenyra was smart to get out of dodge after the the last family dinner. I presume that everyone left their dragons at Dragonstone with the exception of Rhaenys and Baela flying in from Driftmark to beat Vaemond to King's Landing. So with Rhaenys flying to Dragonstone, that leaves 1 adult dragon (forgot about Vhagar!) and 2 young dragons on the Greens side. On the Blacks, there are now 3 adult dragons and 3 young dragons (Baela, Jacerys, and Lucerys). I wonder if Rhaena was able to hatch her egg or bond with another dragon?
  4. I won't lay the deaths of the small folk at Rhaenys' feet; Otto and Alicent had those people herded into the sept for that farce of a coronation. Otto probably planned to kill Rhaenys and her granddaughters to get Driftmark, since Vaemond got himself killed.
  5. Yep. You know the White Worm would always have a contingency plan set up in case of attempts made on her life. I'll bet Mysaria will find a use for Aegon's bastards since she couldn't take him off the chessboard. I was on edge the whole episode until I saw Rhaenys slip into one of the entrances for the dragonpit. I knew she wasn't leaving without her dragon. I also wish she would have fried everyone on that dias; I know Helaena wasn't to blame for anything, but the Hightower blood damns her and her children. RIP to Lord Beesbury, Lord Caswell, and the two other House leaders. So Alicent indulges Larys' foot fetish? I guess that beats having sex with him... So Baela is either escorting Vaemond's body back to Driftmark or at Dragonstone? I see why they tried to imprison Rhaenys at the Red Keep; Otto was going to have her granddaughters killed along with Daemon, Rhaenyra, and all their children! Yeah, she should have burned the Greens on the way out.
  6. Same. I am Team Molly & Emily as well. And yes, as soon as I saw them, Natalie & Nadiya came right to mind. "Twinnie!" I was also shocked at Dom trying to quit the Roadblock. "I am not a master sculptor!" Honey, neither are the other racers. She did the main cardinal sin that several racers have already committed this season: Not. Reading. The. Clue. Rich is a saint. Hopefully Linton gets to enjoy the next leg before he gets Philiminated.
  7. This was a more fitting resolution to the first season of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law! I was about to be upset until Jen popped the Disney+ menu screen. I'm glad the blood theft was dropped because they never really showed us how Josh got Jen's blood. Speaking of which, I hope to see Josh come to some severe legal trouble for what he did to Jen. Todd being the HulkKing wasn't surprising. Emil hosting private events on his retreat was cute. The end credits showed how he got past his inhibitor and I cackled. The only blip was Bruce showing up at the retreat. How would he have known where Jen was if she didn't even tell her parents where she went? It was far better for him to show up at the family brunch with a kid. Satisfying season finale. Bring on Season 2 and the Hulk movies! One quibble: seeing Benedict Wong's name in the end credits spoiled the stinger scene! I was like, "Wong? He wasn't in the episode. Ohhh."
  8. One thing; Vaemond was a second son. It appeared that he had no heirs of his own. Corlys definitely didn't consider him in the succession for Driftmark. The other thing was that Vaemond had little to no backup in his petition. When he comes into King's Landing, there are no other Velaryons with him. He is alone with the only other Velaryons by blood being Daemon's daughters, who are aligned with Rhaenyra and Rhaenys. He was hoping for Otto and Alicent to just give him Driftmark on a platter and was a goner as soon as Viserys showed up.
  9. There has to be some level of caring; Rhaena chose to stay at Dragonstone with her father, cousins, new stepmother, and 2 new half siblings with another one currently baking. Baela chose to warn her father about Vaemond's petition so they could beat him to King's Landing. If Daemon was truly neglectful, neither of his daughters would want to be around him or be bothered with him..
  10. It is only a factor because Daemon isn't using his daughters as chess pieces in these political games. He respected Laena, and allowed Baela to remain with her grandmother in Driftmark when he could have easily kept her at Dragonstone with him and Rhaena. Daemon knows of the enmity between his daughters and Aemond because of Vhagar. I feel that the fact that the girls were able to show their happiness/relief at being betrothed to Rhaenyra's sons shows how their father wouldn't stand in the way of what is right for them.
  11. Nah. Both of those girls can't stand Aemond after he claimed Laena's dragon. No way will either of them willingly go to be Aemond's wife! Helaena meant that Aegon mostly ignores her until he gets in his cups. His raping her is where their children came from. Those bags under his eyes indicate strong alcoholism. I wonder if she would be abused so if Alicent chose Aemond to be her husband. Also Baela and Rhaena much prefer their cousins and appear happy to be with Rhaenyra's sons. Aegon better not go after Baela; Jacerys would have to kill his rapey uncle.
  12. I get naming one of their sons Viserys, after his grandsire, but why did they name their other baby Aegon? What will the new baby be named? Harwin? (I kid. LOL!) I also question the shortening of Jacerys and Lucerys to Jake and Luke. It further gives the impression that these are not Targaryen children, which they are. You can't really shorten Joffrey; I can imagine him asking who he was named after if he gets to grow up.
  13. There was no need for a trial. The King told everyone to keep Rheanyra and her babies names out of their mouths or there will be consequences. His word is to be followed. Did you jump into HotD at this episode? If you watched the episodes from the beginning, you would not say Viserys was a tyrant.
  14. I respectfully disagree. Viserys was no tyrant, and lords knew better than to go against the King. Everyone knows the King is weak, but Viserys was still King until he took his last breath. Vaemond knew he was out of pocket; this wouldn't have happened if Corlys was around. The only thing Viserys was guilty of was not properly backing up his named Heir.
  15. The 4 cousins aren't that closely related. The fact that the boys aren't blood Velaryons helps in this case. Any resultant children will be Targaryen/Velaryon/Strongs with the dragon riding gene somewhat intact. It's a better mix than straight Targaryen.
  16. Viserys had told these very same people 6 years ago at Driftmark that whosoever spoke on Rhaenyra's children would lose their tongue. Vaemond knew he was a goner as soon as he said what he said. You see no one moved to stop Daemon and did nothing when Vaemond's head hit the floor. Corlys probably won't say much when he learns of Vaemond's fate; he is firmly on Rhaenyra's side.
  17. That tea might not be as effective as it used to be. Aegon might have bastards littered all over Oldtown. Looked like a white haired child in next week's preview.
  18. No, the King usually does not decide succession for other Houses. This particular dustup happened because Corlys didn't officially announce Lucerys as his Heir to everyone assembled at Laena's funeral like he planned. Remember that Rhaenys was pressing for him to make Baela his Heir and then they "lost" Laenor on the heels of the funeral. Corlys had no intention of shutting Lucerys out, even knowing that he wasn't a true Velaryon. I wonder how Rhaenys really felt about Vaemond, though he was destined to become a thorn in her side. I wonder why she had to watch as the sisters did their work on the body...
  19. I'll be honest; I was expecting Corlys to come through. I guess we will see next week what has come of him. Fare thee well, Vaemond. I guess he should have known he was going to die, but really fam? It didn't appear that he had heirs of his own and Corlys never mentioned making him heir to Driftmark; he was that determined to keep Lucerys away from the Driftmark throne? He wasn't even going to let Rhaenys keep the throne in the event of Corlys' death? He couldn't even wait until they got Corlys back home before running to King's Landing? This whole charade didn't make any sense, and he rightfully died for it. Prince Aegon has ratcheted his creepiness level up to raping Helaena and servants? Yuck. Aemond looks to be the odd one out yet again in the children group. Baela stayed in Driftmark with Rhaenys while Rhaena went to Dragonstone; I wonder if Rhaena was able to get a dragon yet? Rhaenyra decided to have even sets of boys. Three for Harwin, and 3 for Daemon. I hope she will get the dagger from Viserys before the war starts...
  20. Middle aged is strictly 50 years and over. I'm rooting for the Twins. I am also the toy builder and IKEA heaux! Skills like that are awesome.
  21. Not too surprising, since outside of Bruce, Jen hasn't met any other superheroes since becoming She-Hulk. Plus most of the known superheroes are all seemingly based in New York while Jen is in California. There's definitely groundwork to start the West Coast Avengers...
  22. I am amazed that Copper Top didn't gain more inspiration from Cheddar's look. She looked ... wrong standing to the ethereal goddess CG! Sminty just wanted to be naked. I want her and Peppa to cover those nipples better. I also expected a lot more of Danny and Pixie's lewks. They were so plain! Not a fan of tonight's lip sync song. Did Peppa land that cartwheel on her knees? That looked painful! Copper Top sashays away.
  23. I disagree. Jacerys is a Targaryen by name because that is the deal Viserys struck with Corlys. All of Rhaenyra's children are Targaryen, regardless of the fact that 2 of them are Velaryon by name. There probably won't be any skipping unless by death.
  24. Got it. It was Jacerys who threw the sand in Aemond's face. I missed Lucerys scrambling for the knife.
