  1. Episode 1: That randomizer looks awesome. I like the Wild Card element! Haven't the chefs learned by now not to say what they don't want out loud? Heh. Then to have the randomizer say to the chefs, "Naw heaux, I want you to use what was chosen!" twice when the seeds re-spun it? Love this. The Judges: Alex Guarnaschelli, Nancy Silverton, Andrew Zimmern. I wouldn't have taken this show seriously if KBC won against Jose Effin' Garces. I felt for her a little, but no way was she going to beat an Iron Chef! At least she managed to make the jicama work; I'm sure that jicama and celery root taste wildly different. I'm rooting for Eric Adjepong! I always want to eat his dishes. The judges kinda gave a backhanded compliment foe his dish; they didn't hate it, it seemed too simple for them. Please let Lee Ann Wong take out Malarkey. I just can't rock with Chef Shenanigans in any way, shape, or form. While LAW was stuck on the cauliflower, her dish was first class. Thank goodness she sent Malarkey packing. Oh, Carlos Anthony lost to Jet Tila last year? Well, he's gonna lose to Jet Tila this year as well. Heh. I want the Red Deer Miso Ramen... The Xantham Gum took Carlos out! Nancy Silverton can taste everything in a dish! I want to be a judge! That food looks so good! Andrew managed to eat the entire dish twice. You can't fake excellent food.
  2. And remember, Sneed was going to kill Raffi like he killed that other alien taking the fall for the stolen tech. There was no need to leave live enemies behind them when they didn't know what was in front of them yet.
  3. Oh, and while that scene between Beverly and Picard on the bridge was hella dramatic (not in the good way), I would have been petty enough to make her tell me out of her mouth that Jack was my son. There was no need for that "look"; you should have been told me about him!
  4. Sigh. I was hoping for a clone of Original Jack Crusher... Okay. I'll buy Jack (Should have named him anything but Jack Crusher!) being Picard's son if the writers come up with a really good, really plausible reason for Beverly to have gone dark with him and cutting everyone else off for decades. Otherwise I am going to pretend that Jack is the con man he claims to be. This last season of STP is all about legacy, whether Picard likes it or not! Listen, Shaw may be an asshat who clearly doesn't have the respect of his crew, but Riker and Picard outrank him. I would have handed the ship over to them and prepare a long report to Starfleet Command later. I thought Riker was talking to Picard about taking so damn long to commandeer the Titan, not that "Icanseethatheisyourson" nonsense. Like it was said above, this isn't the first time Picard has had his DNA swiped from him; the first thing I would have done was check to see if he is my son, damn privacy! Worf is in play! Cool, cool. So Raffi is still on the outs with her son and even played the "Starfleet before family" card again with her ex-husband. Oh Raffi. You shouldn't even have bothered to have a family if you are going to always leave them for Starfleet.
  5. No, Riker has not met Seven before this moment. Picard only knew Seven by reputation until he actually met her in person in Season 1 episode "Absolute Candor".
  6. I just watched that episode and I wanted to know more about her maternal grandfather, since they couldn't (or didn't want to) show any more information on who her biological maternal grandmother was. The Mayflower connection must have floored Dr. Davis, considering so much of her ancestry was european.
  7. I'm easy, and I'm in! I was fully prepared to be upset about Raffi backsliding, only to realize that she is undercover. That little girl has to be her granddaughter; her son's wife was pregnant in Season 1. I wonder if she managed to reconcile with her son and meet her granddaughter in person? Poor Seven. Starfleet clipped her wings, and she is under a captain who clearly has a dislike for Borg, former or otherwise. And insisting on using Anikka Hansen as her Starfleet designation? I don't like that after all Seven went through to finally accept herself as Seven of Nine. I did like that Captain Shaw was immediately not with the shits, although he was lowkey disrespectful about it. He's one of those captains who is clearly not comfortable with flying by the seat of his pants. Was that Starfleet Academy that went down? Ugh. Let Elnor be on a ship somewhere and not there! Laris knew the moment someone reached out for help that Picard would go. I don't want Beverly's son to be Picard's son; but whose child must he be in order to get Picard to not immediately regret coming to her rescue? It wouldn't make sense to run off after discovering she is pregnant...
  8. I watched after the Super Bowl and I just kept marveling at hoooow slooooow these contestants were on the premiere! All dude on Gordon's team had was shrimp on the plate and should not have taken so long to get to the platform! Tick tock, mf! I'm sure Gordon was screaming, "Move your ass!" in his head because this isn't THAT show. Heh.
  9. Contestants begin their journey and look to make their first impressions in their respective teams.
  10. I have to say that I am annoyed that I have to search online to watch Season 15, especially when I already pay for Paramount Plus and WOW Presents Plus. C'mon Ru! I cut the cable cord a long time ago and I will not pay for anything else to watch this season!
  11. Childbirth is a bloody, nasty, life-threatening business that women do every day. Men have to see the gory bits in order to truly understand that women are not the "weaker" sex. I think I read a comment either here or on a YouTube video that women have shed more blood for the Crown than any man for years and yet have nothing to show for it.
  12. There is a more human explanation for this; when people are real close to a family member, they "see" the person as they were in their prime. It boggles my mind when family is so surprised and scream "He's too young to die!" when Pop Pop stopped taking care of himself 20 years ago, is damn near 100 and is clearly starting to resemble the Cryptkeeper. I have a hard time agreeing with the above sentiment when I can see that you are making arrangements with the Higher Power to see them soon! Viserys looked like he died years ago in Episode 9 and his body simply didn't know it. Yes, Rhaenyra and Daemon could have stayed behind after that disastrous Last Supper, but then Otto probably would have had them all killed as soon as Viserys' death was discovered.
  13. On Dragonstone, there are caverns and caves where the claimed and unclaimed dragons tend to congregate and lay eggs. Vermithor was most likely deep underground where Daemon could get to either underneath the castle or via tunnels to the caverns. It looked like steps he was walking up to get close to Vermithor. The only dragon pit is at King's Landing. So was the sept where Aegon had his coronation directly above the dragon pit? In hindsight, not the best location.
  14. The thing was, no one really knew how badly he was hurt and assumed that he would die of his injuries before getting back to Driftmark. I guess that Rhaenys had him rerouted to Dragonstone since she was there. I'm also guessing that Vaemond's body is still in King's Landing, since Rhaenys didn't mention that after telling Corlys his brother was dead. They probably didn't send Corlys back until the Stepstones were secured for real this time.
  15. I'm willing to bet it was the pieces of Arrax that fell from the sky. I don't think that Aemond and Lucerys were over water when Vhagar decided to strike back at Arrax.
  16. I don't know; Borros seemed insulted with Rhaenyra's message and not too conciliatory to her messenger. He only stopped Aemond because he didn't want any bloodshed on his property.
  17. Damn. RIP to Baby Targaryen, Lucerys, and Arrax. I knew someone was going to die, but I wasn't expecting it to be Lucerys. Poor sweet child. I was hoping that Rhaenyra would have fried Otto's slimy rump on the spot. He was so smug on that tiny bridge facing a dragon. Corlys made it back to life! Never doubted him; but now he has lost his heir. Rhaena gets Driftmark now. I feel for her as well, losing her betrothed. So Rhaenyra wasn't that far along in her last pregnancy. At least she survived this birth. She knew this baby wouldn't survive and needed to get it out; she's a G, for real. There probably won't be any more children since Daemon snapped out on her. So Daemon is attempting to ride another dragon? How does that work? Would Caraxes attack Vermithor (I don't think so, since this dragon seems to be as big as Vhagar)? Sea Smoke remained at Driftmark. So it is possible for riders to break bonds with dragons, apparently. The less said about Aemond, the better. He just couldn't let things go. Alicent should have smacked him a few times...
  18. This story is written so poorly. The main thing here is that a male Targaryen must be on the Iron Throne. Okay. These Westerosi men just simply cannot abide a woman, Targaryen or otherwise, to be on the Iron Throne, so let her son inherit it. But wait, We want the right Targaryen to be on the throne; one whose father was Targaryen is optimal! Cause we don't want no female Targaryen running things around here! Her girl cooties will even infect her sons! This is like watching bad incel fanfic. Rhaenyra's sons are part Targaryen; so are Alicent's sons! This is why this whole situation is so nonsensical. If Alicent wanted Aegon II to be Rhaenyra's heir as opposed to her own son, it probably would have been cool but Rhaenyra has to be Queen first. This whole war is starting because the men around the King didn't want a woman running them. The only roadblock to any type of peaceful solution is not having a penis.
  19. I'm willing to bet that since the Red Keep is populated by dragons, there would be no weapons designed to kill them there. Other regions in Westeros? Possibly. Let's remember that Helaena never really had any bond with Alicent. When she was born, she was always screaming her head off whenever Alicent held her. Her birth must not have been as "easy" as Aegon's... It was a race to see who would ultimately control the new King. Alicent knew that Otto would have Aegon cosign all kinds of heinous shyt if he had Aegon's ear. Helaena has a dragon. When Viserys and crew goes back to King's Landing after Laena's funeral, you see 3 dragons flying back while the rest of the family was on the boat. Laenor's dragon? If Sea Smoke didn't follow Laenor to Essos, he is probably at Driftmark.
  20. Rhaenys didn't intend to raid the coronation. Remember, Otto had her imprisoned in her room. He fully intended to keep her and her dragon from rallying to Rhaenyra's side. Rhaenys wanted to leave King's Landing with her dragon. Otto probably had the Dragon pit masters attempt to keep Melys in the pit to take a dragon off the chessboard and kill Rhaenys later. She probably had no choice but to go up instead of out the door and took a little time to let Alicent know her intimidation attempt didn't work. Also there were no nobles present at the coronation other than the ones on the dias, right? This is practically a day after Viserys' death. No one outside of King's Landing even knows that Viserys is dead yet. Daemon and Rhaenyra was smart to get out of dodge after the the last family dinner. I presume that everyone left their dragons at Dragonstone with the exception of Rhaenys and Baela flying in from Driftmark to beat Vaemond to King's Landing. So with Rhaenys flying to Dragonstone, that leaves 1 adult dragon (forgot about Vhagar!) and 2 young dragons on the Greens side. On the Blacks, there are now 3 adult dragons and 3 young dragons (Baela, Jacerys, and Lucerys). I wonder if Rhaena was able to hatch her egg or bond with another dragon?
  21. I won't lay the deaths of the small folk at Rhaenys' feet; Otto and Alicent had those people herded into the sept for that farce of a coronation. Otto probably planned to kill Rhaenys and her granddaughters to get Driftmark, since Vaemond got himself killed.
  22. Just one of Larys' tongueless minions.
  23. Yep. You know the White Worm would always have a contingency plan set up in case of attempts made on her life. I'll bet Mysaria will find a use for Aegon's bastards since she couldn't take him off the chessboard. I was on edge the whole episode until I saw Rhaenys slip into one of the entrances for the dragonpit. I knew she wasn't leaving without her dragon. I also wish she would have fried everyone on that dias; I know Helaena wasn't to blame for anything, but the Hightower blood damns her and her children. RIP to Lord Beesbury, Lord Caswell, and the two other House leaders. So Alicent indulges Larys' foot fetish? I guess that beats having sex with him... So Baela is either escorting Vaemond's body back to Driftmark or at Dragonstone? I see why they tried to imprison Rhaenys at the Red Keep; Otto was going to have her granddaughters killed along with Daemon, Rhaenyra, and all their children! Yeah, she should have burned the Greens on the way out.
  24. Same. I am Team Molly & Emily as well. And yes, as soon as I saw them, Natalie & Nadiya came right to mind. "Twinnie!" I was also shocked at Dom trying to quit the Roadblock. "I am not a master sculptor!" Honey, neither are the other racers. She did the main cardinal sin that several racers have already committed this season: Not. Reading. The. Clue. Rich is a saint. Hopefully Linton gets to enjoy the next leg before he gets Philiminated.
  25. This was a more fitting resolution to the first season of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law! I was about to be upset until Jen popped the Disney+ menu screen. I'm glad the blood theft was dropped because they never really showed us how Josh got Jen's blood. Speaking of which, I hope to see Josh come to some severe legal trouble for what he did to Jen. Todd being the HulkKing wasn't surprising. Emil hosting private events on his retreat was cute. The end credits showed how he got past his inhibitor and I cackled. The only blip was Bruce showing up at the retreat. How would he have known where Jen was if she didn't even tell her parents where she went? It was far better for him to show up at the family brunch with a kid. Satisfying season finale. Bring on Season 2 and the Hulk movies! One quibble: seeing Benedict Wong's name in the end credits spoiled the stinger scene! I was like, "Wong? He wasn't in the episode. Ohhh."
