  1. The youngest always seems to be crying when in Alicent's arms. As of yet, this child has not been named in the show. Is it a girl? Because all everyone seems to be concerned with is young Aegon.
  2. Viserys had a problem and needed Corlys; remember that he and Rhaenys didn't offer Laenor up for marriage to anyone, knowing his "true nature". Viserys could have flexed and called for Corlys to come to him, yes. I think that he respected his cousin and her husband a bit more than that and this was also a form of apology for the other slights, real or imagined (TM Lyonel Strong). Plus, Lord Strong was a bit snippy with Laenor and Laena knowing full well why Corlys didn't greet them at the door. That was Corlys going "He's my cousin. He knows to come on through since he came all the way out here..."
  3. Viserys had to go to Corlys. He did Corlys dirty by not immediately helping in the Stepstones and by refusing to marry Laena. Viserys could have waited for Laena to "mature" and not stomp all over the feelings of his largest ally in Westeros. After the Stepstones, Corlys went home instead of going to King's Landing. The only way to get Laenor for Rhaenyra was to go to Driftmark.
  4. Criston. Well, Viseys was planning 7 days of tournaments and feasting with the Royal Wedding happening at the end. The wedding feast disaster prompted him to marry Rhaenyra off quickly and I assume send her to Driftmark with Laenor (or does Laenor stay with Rhaenyra at King's Landing?). He doesn't listen, though. I wondered if that was why she didn't get involved in the Stepstones War. Corlys still talks about her being Queen when she never got that chance and pretty much put it behind her.
  5. Well damn. That surely didn't end the way I thought it would. Ser Criston done f*cked up the thang! (TM Funky Dineva) Rule number one in FWB situationships: Don't. Catch. Feelings. Did he really think the Heir to the Iron Throne would just run off to Essos with him? I would call him Poor Lil Tink Tink, but Laenor gets that title after seeing his lover's face bashed into the floor at the wedding feast. Yikes. Since Criston done lost his mind, I wonder if this paves the way for Ser Harwin Strong? He seems to always be the one to notice Rhaenyra's shenanigans and keep them to himself... The Queen is also tripping. Why is she so green with envy towards Rhaenyra? She needs to make the best of her own situation. What can she possibly do with Criston? Smuggle him to Oldtown? Damn, they made Laenor get married right there with Joffrey's blood still on the floor? That is cold. They could have at least gone to another room. I thought that Viserys was a goner after the "wedding" until I saw him in the previews for next week's episode. It was nice that Rhaenyra and Laenor had an understanding; but she won't get any heirs from him now. That man is ruined in more ways than one. To be honest, I thought Daemon would have been the catalyst for the wedding fight. He was pretty bold talking to his wife's cousin like that. Lady Rhea wasn't ugly at all. She clearly spooked her horse and paid dearly for it. How convenient for Daemon to now be free to do what he wants. So does Daemon clearly have issues with his virility or he just didn't want to consummate his marriage? Daemon stays getting in his own way. I wonder if he will get Runestone? I would have loved to see things from the Velaryon perspective. Corlys is ride or die for Rhaenys and I love to see that. But he is not so quick about more sensitive issues. Did they stop Laena's marriage to the Free Cities Lord's son? She seemed hot for Daemon when all he could see was Rhaenyra. Is Corlys going to demand restitution for Joffrey's death? He was a member of the Velaryon contingent. He did stand out from the rest of the House; I just didn't expect Laenor's boo thang to get the Red Shirt treatment! They need to release 2 or 3 episodes at a time. This waiting 7 whole days for the next part of the story is so not cash money.
  6. Sigh. Obviously Jen was able to get down as She-Hulk without damaging the Hot Doctor. He was only in it for the big green woman and not Jen as herself.
  7. Rhaenys wasn't thrilled about serving her baby girl up to her cousin. Remember she told Rhaenyra that she didn't want to marry Laena off but was resigned to cement the Velaryon's relationship to the King. She may have been okay with Viserys not wanting her daughter, but smart enough not to say that in front of Corlys.
  8. I wonder why Otto is politicking so hard for Aegon to be on the Iron Throne? That baby is 3 years old as of episode 4! Does he think that he will be named Regent if he were to "help" Viserys shuffle off the mortal coil? Alicent is the wild card here; Surely she knows that she has a little more cachet being Queen. We will see if she continues to let her father manipulate her in this situation.
  9. Daemon's wife is in the Vale. He was told numerous times to go to her in the Vale.
  10. That's what I liked about his casting as Daemon. All the fanfics about GOT portrayed the Targaryen men as impossibly handsome white haired Adonis-like specimens who rode dragons and snatched all the women. Any family that practices inbreeding on purpose to keep a magic ablility intact will not look anything like sexy male models. Matt Smith is the perfect example of a powerful man with unconventional features. To be honest, HotD probably shouldn't have made Ser Criston so easy on the eyes. He should be a bit rougher looking.
  11. Daemon's legal wife isn't dead; she's living in the Vale with her family. Viserys seems to be the Targaryen who went against the grain; it just so happened that Aemma, being the great love of his life, was also his cousin. In tonight's episode, he describes himself as not the favorite child of his mother because he was not a great warrior like Targaryens are expected to be. All he wanted to do was create his models in peace until he was pushed into being King. In regards to Rhaenyra, if it was any other close relative in the family other than his bratty little brother, Viserys may have considered it. Come to think of it, are there any more Targaryens around besides Rhaenys, Viserys, Daemon, and Rhaenyra?
  12. Could you imagine how buck wild Rhaenyra would have been if she actually witnessed her mother getting cut up like so much meat? I wonder if she heard her mother's screams from the Tourney?
  13. For Ser Criston, it was pretty much a double edged sword. He couldn't really refuse her advances as she commands his very existence. He also probably had a crush on her at the same time so he wasn't thinking too clearly on the possible consequences of his actions. I wonder if she gets to take him with her to Driftmark? Seems like Ser Criston was guarding her solely.
  14. Listen. Looks like Daemon has no game and no stroke. That's why his wife has no white-haired babies running around the Vale. Poor thing. Did he really think that Viserys was going to let him marry Rhaenyra? Viserys is so sick of everybody's shyt. Daemon didn't last in his brother's good graces for a full day. Damn! Sneaking Rhaenyra out at night was fun, but leaving her in the brothel when you couldn't perform? That was low. Riled her up and left her wanting more. The whole time I was screaming for her to stop with Ser Criston; what was I screaming? "Girl, get married FIRST, then lay with the help!" Now I will admit that if Viserys thought Daemon actually bedded his niece, palming her off on Laenor Valyaryon is the best choice to keep anyone suspecting anything amiss when a white haired baby shows up. Now will she be unlucky enough to get knocked up from her handsome Knightsguard? I wish we had a definitive answer on if she drank that tea... I want to feel bad for Alicent, but unfortunately, the life she leads is what she sort of signed up for. Is the second baby is a boy or a girl? No one ever said. Must be a girl, because Viserys probably wouldn't bother her late at night if he got his heir and a spare. The things you have to endure to be Queen. She does feel sorry for Viserys, probably more than love at this point. He looks worse for wear, as we expected. That throne is eating him up! I do love that Rhaenyra got her shot back at Otto in return for marrying cousin Laenor without complaint. "I'll marry my cousin, but you got to get rid of your Hand!" But my gal was hella reckless, too. Why didn't she go back to her room the way she left it? Then she could have opened her door and enticed Ser Criston into her room that way.
  15. Oh, it's totally not unrealistic. Most guys want flashy, sexy women on the surface. Jen's corporate headshot doesn't read sexy at all and that's what Nikki was fussing at her about. Given a choice between plain lawyer Jen and Hot Sexy She-Hulk, which one do you think most men would pick? (Spoiler: it's the big green woman!)
  16. Clearly that needs to be a new requirement. We may have to have a "Sorcerer Supreme Wong" show to see how they do things at Kamer-Taj. There's a lot of students from all over the universe there to study magic. Maybe they do keep track of the washouts; Wong didn't remember Donny until Madisynn dropped into his lap or she was one of multiple women who got sent to other dimensions and hopefully got out of them alive. Donny Blaze has some aptitude for magic. He basically wore out his welcome after learning how to create portals.
  17. Men really ain't ish, especially dating them. Poor Jen; she already has to work as She-Hulk, but now to only have action as She-Hulk? That would get old really quickly. Glad to see Wong again! Why do I think that Madisynn will turn out to be something bigger later on? It's not a little thing to give drops of your blood to a demon... I wonder at judges who don't blink at superhuman powers. How can a Kamer-Taj washout compare to the Sorcerer Supreme? I loved Jen's dad coming over with security cameras and a shovel. Love that for her, even though she can take care of herself.
  18. Episode 4: I admit, I am usually not for watching the choreography heavy rehearsals, but I loved watching Douglas Nierras drag the girls. The pageant was okay. The pink runway was also okay. Xilhouete did look very pretty in pink, but her pageant performance was still shaky. Eva Le Queen's face card will never be revoked. I love the way she paints her face! Marina Summers is the one. She is a threat to win. Condragulations! Vinas really needed a paddle for wasting a Ru-veal. Then again, this is the one who came into the Werkroom wearing a towel. I didn't expect her pink runway to be anything more than it was. Brigiding and Lady Morgana are in the bottom. Now I thought that Brigiding would get dinged for her poor posture and the fact that her bodysuit either opened up in the back or she couldn't zip it up. The well timed split and spray paint in her wig saved her. Lady Morgana sashays away. I see that everyone really respected her and I was glad that she let them know that she wasn't dying. I don't want want to cry at the end of every show!
  19. I don't think that the Crown "controlled" dragons; every dragon is bonded to their rider. So Daemon was using HIS own dragon and Laenor was using HIS own dragon. By Targaryen tradidtions, a dragon egg placed in a baby's crib bonds that dragon to the baby. I'm still bothered by the fact that Corlys couldn't use the 2 dragons at his disposal more effectively. Upon rewatch, it was Corlys who was describing the current state of the Crabfeeder war; that the Daemon/Corlys alliance pushed the Crabfeeder and his fighters back to the CF's home base. The Velaryon force is too far away from Driftmark for reinforcements. Corlys' brother Vaemond was the one who sent Viserys the note for aid and complains about the dragons, but it is never stated that Laenor is the other dragonrider. I wonder how long it took for Laenor to come up with the plan using Daemon and to finally get his uncle and father to listen to him?
  20. Or her 18th birthday hasn't come up yet. Viserys would be an even shittier father if he didn't acknowledge the Princess' birthday because of the annoying marriage proposals...
  21. Oh. They surely didn't make that clear. Why wasn't it mentioned that Laenor had a dragon? Now I really question Corlys and his war strategies! You had 2 dragons and couldn't exterminate the Crabs? Sigh. ETA: Or was Laenor riding Daemon's dragon? I will have to watch that sequence again.
  22. That was a second dragon ridden by an unnamed Dragon Rider we haven't met yet. The only other dragon shown tonight was Daemon's. I have now been informed that this was Laenor Velaryon and his dragon Sea Smoke. There was only Caraxes and Sea Smoke in this episode (Dragon Watch! Heh).
  23. Well. Viserys let that Stepstones War go on for 3 years when he could have ended it with just one of the Dragon Riders? I know he wouldn't have let Rhaenyra go with them, but there are other ones besides her. Who are they? I'm also going to have to ding Corlys and his people for poor war waging; if the Crabfeeder is able to go underground in caves, why not figure out how to collapse the caves and entomb the men? And it took you 3 years to simply send someone to the caves to draw the Crabfeeder and his men out? Yeesh. Daemon didn't have to nearly kill the messenger, though. Man, all Viserys wanted to do was celebrate his son's 2nd birthday. The Realm just won't let him live. Heh. Nice to know that Lannisters are as slimy as usual. So now Viserys is annoyed with having to marry his daughter off. He should have been able to talk to her about it sensibly, but he burnt Rhaenyra with the Alicent stunt. "My daughter is difficult!" You made her that way, Viserys. It was cool of him to give her the choice of the husband she will want, but I am sure he will have to walk that back next episode. How gross of Otto to suggest betrothing Rhaenrya to her toddler half brother. I like how that Lord told Viserys that he will have to eventually make things right with Corlys; he didn't marry Laena, so have Rhaenyra marry Laenor instead. I wonder why that couldn't have been an option before? The white hart showing itself to Rhaenyra and Ser Crispin? Viserys would have had several cows himself if he knew of that. I was thinking that she would be the one to kill it and bring it back to camp instead of the boar.
  24. Vanjie did sit on the panel out of drag on the episode he was on. He was in Drag for the rehearsals of the Maxi Challenge.
  25. That is exactly why I am here. Since Real Life is such a shitshow these days, I just want to watch things that are fun! I believe that Jen is now representing the real Megan Thee Stallion, since that elf is probably in jail serving her time for impersonating the judge. I'm pretty sure that Jen wouldn't kill for some unknown Asgardian elf!
