Blake might be a jerk, but I have lost a toenail before, and that HURTS like a mother. I didn't blame him for flinching.
-
So Kyra wants to look up Cashel when they get home. Uh huh. Until he likes her too much and she bails again.
-
I've never heard anyone talk this way in real life... but admittedly I'm not around many 20-somethings these days.
-
They're going to be against him anyway for daring to put the 2 Jacks on the block. He should have just put another alliance member up and let them fight it out. Cliff's days are numbered, regardless.
-
I noticed that, too. The new guy (name?) who was talking to Kyra seemed to be pleasantly articulate. I wonder how long it will be before he too succumbs to "like" disease.

There's a host! She's alive! She didn't add much, but at least she showed up. Eh, we could have been rid of Caro, but no dice.
-
I'm not sure when I've disliked a group of people more than I do this alliance. Horrible.

Where the heck is the alleged host of this show? She's not even there for eliminations. They flew her to Fiji for what?

The Great Food Truck Race - General Discussion

This show seems to be nearly identical to Paradise Hotel, and the ratings were so bad for that one they had to cram episodes together and shut it down early. I wonder if this will do better.

Commercials That Annoy, Irritate or Outright Enrage
Suzysite replied to Maverick's topic in Commercials
I just saw this one. When the bratty kid is told she's not leaving the table until she finishes, she crosses her arms and says, "Fine, we'll sleep here". I could just imagine me saying something like that to my parents as a kid. I wouldn't be able to sit down for a week. -
S21.E05: Live Eviction #1; Head of Household #2
Suzysite replied to Lady Calypso's topic in Past Seasons
Exactly. It's not ok to say it one way and not the other. And as far as whether Jack eventually nominates Kemi or Jessica, so what. Saying we need to be aware of "Optics" is just another way of saying he must keep people in the game based solely on skin color. I don't especially care for Jack, but if as HoH he doesn't like a person and wants to put them up, so be it. He has never mentioned race as a factor and we shouldn't make it one. -
All these guys need to stop saying "like" every other word. It's annoying and makes them sound like children.
-
Gotta say, after all this Luke BS and Jed's "singing" abusing my ears, there had better at least be a rose ceremony tonight.

Probably not, but she likely suspected Gabe and was prepared to let Sevvy take the fall for it.

S04.E21: Sandra's Fight/S04.E22: Employee Appreciation Day
Suzysite replied to joanne3482's topic in Superstore [V]
What? Not a chance. They are brave men and women who put their lives on the line every day to uphold the laws of the land. A fictional character getting hauled off by law enforcement dosn't change that. He did wrong and will probably get a slap on the wrist, but ICE is in no way "evil". These double episodes have hit a season low in the ratings. The season has been pretty awful as a whole, but this poor Mateo and fight-the-man union stuff is going the be the final nail in the show's coffin for me. -
S17.E17: Woodstock and Show Stoppers (2019.05.05)

Guess I'll be the lone person who was pleasantly surprised that Laci was the one saved. I'm pretty much over Jeremiah, so I was hoping he was done. -
Here's hoping Vanessa's poem to Cousin Oliver was the show's way of sending her off. They probably won't get Eve back again full time next year, but anything is better than this.

These recent episodes have been awkward and unfunny, and the only common denominator I can see is Amy being manager. Clearly that was a terrible idea. Everyone's worst side is coming out and it's not fun to watch. Maybe in real life this is why people are transferred to a new store when they're made manager.
-
This one was just awful. I muted so much of it. Cheyenne and Mateo should both be fired and off my TV forever. They just terrible people. Amy getting pushed around by those two, especially as their boss, is ridiculous. The Jonah slapstick stuff was so bad. The writing had better pick up soon.

Katy has been calling Alyssa "My Sauce" since the audition round, so she clearly has a personal connection/mentorship feeling for her. It was so obvious to me that she'd pick her Sauce, especially after she sang a Katy song. I still don't get Alejandro. He sings okay, but not great. I thought his guitar playing was mostly what blew the judges away, and then he goes and uses other instruments in these rounds.

Those are the three I thought of, too. I found myself loudly singing Bennie and the Jets along with The Mayor in order to drown him out. That was just horrible.

I used to enjoy this show but it is lately driving me nuts. As others have said why pay big money for granite and high-end tile when there is no dishwasher. There is also no garage. No paved sidewalk or driveway, either. Those gravel walkways look good for about a season and then they sink into the mud. No basement or real foundation, either. Isn't Texas tornado country? I wonder how many buyers get caught up in the shiny tile and auction frenzy only to realize what they've gotten stuck with later on? And as for the "guest houses".... incredibly ridiculous. Give me a garage for the money, instead. And how about some storage? Where are these buyers going to put their seasonal decor? I'm really close to unfriending this all-sizzle-and-no-steak show.

I guess I saw something different than others did. I didn't think it was noble or dignified to keep the old lady in her filthy home where she couldn't manage the most basic care for herself. Just because she was once a "somebody" doesn't change what she needs now. Most dear souls in nursing homes were once "somebodies" but their care needs have grown too great. The nurse barring the door was ridiculous. And Sister MJ... don't get me started. She could use a nursing home herself. Her pontificating just made me mute my TV. And, I do get it that the objection was to her being forcibly removed. But come on, the woman was throwing her feces at people like a deranged animal.
