  1. Definitely not in the winter. We have a summer fest of some sort... for the town's anniversary or to commemorate what the town is known for. Fourth of July has fireworks and maybe some kind of celebration. And the in the fall there are harvest festivals in orchards or farms, but that's about it.
  2. Exactly. We get it already. After last week's greatness I pretty much expected a filler episode, and we got one.
  3. I thought once we got past the Christmas/Winterfest movies we'd be done with "hot cocoa" and town festivals. But no. Apparently they are part of the Valentine's Day movies now, too. I swear these things are written like Mad Libs. Just fill in the blanks, but always add cocoa and festivals. It was hard to see February in A Valentine's Match, when outside the trees were all green and flowers were blooming.
  4. She was also the town doctor's daughter in Falling for Vermont where Julie Gonzalo was a writer who lost her memory and had to stay with them.
  5. I know this show isn't supposed to be realistic medicine, but come on. Morgan's mom had TWO brain surgeries and no shaved hair, no bandages, no ICU, just up and checking herself out immediately after the first one and barely any effects after the second. The show could at least try. Also, I wanted to hit her in her pretentious artsy face with a two-by-four.
  6. The morning after and still nobody? I really like this goofy little show. I hope it gets to continue.
  7. The kissing scene had me covering my eyes and EWW-ing like an 8 year old boy. Nobody wants to see that. Just solve this case.
  8. And then they make out
  9. I do wish they had Edison pronounce the word "patent" like Americans do instead of saying pay-tent. Took me out of it a bit.
  10. I tried to watch Brimming with Love but the constant background music made the dialogue so hard to hear. I just gave up on it.
  11. This felt a lot like an episode of Timeless...with alien scorpions. Dang it, I miss that show. Even had Goran Visnjic for the final touch.
  12. Not to mention Unleashing Mr Darcy. It's on ALL the time. There has to be something in the archives they can pull out rather than these same few over and over. Maybe they just don't want to pay residuals to people not currently in their movie "family".
  13. Well, Dylan Neal and his wife are producers and writers for the Gourmet Detective Mysteries, so his casting as the lead was pretty set in stone.
  14. I'm already so tired of watching Peter make out with everyone and anyone. Chris Harrison better be wary when he gets too close.
  15. Probably my least favorite episode of the series. Slow and unlikeable. So easy to predict the Dregs (really?) were mutated future humans. Ho hum.
  16. The latest two episodes were an improvement over the season premiere. There was minimal Cousin Oliver, and I muted the few scenes she was in, anyway. I might have even chuckled a couple of times.
  17. I think they said season finale, but I fear it could be the series finale, too. I don't think ratings are great. Hopefully they will resolve a lot.
  18. I hate to say it, but after enduring 3 hours of bland puppy dog Peter and Hannah's gaggy grossness, I took myself over to Reality Steve and spoiled myself for the season. I just had to know in case I decide to skip this mess to the end.
  19. Madison is the basketball player. I'll give her this, she seems to have made an impression on Mommy Weber. Big points there.
  20. Please never put Hannah Brown on my screen again. She's gross.
  21. I thought Winter in Vail was the snowy version of Love on Safari. Lacey inherits a property from an uncle she hasn't seen in years. It takes her away from her job where she's unappreciated anyway. Property seems like a mess until local guy convinces her otherwise. Community loves her, she grows to love said property and stays. Take out the giraffes, add snow (and of course, hot chocolate), it's the same movie. Also, Lacey was on Home and Family last week and they were making those filled and gold-dusted chocolate balls that got dropped into the hot chocolate. Seems like a lot of work for something that just instantly melts into floating mini marshmallows.
  22. I remember when LMS used to be funny. This was just painful to watch. I'm actually hoping for cancellation if the entire season is like this.
  23. Oh good, Cousin Oliver is still here. Because she adds so much.
  24. It sounds like it. The brand has been thriving until this latest push to try and destroy what they've built. Guaranteed they will lose their audience if they bow to pressure.
