  1. Can't tell for sure but is white (Melissa) actually advancing their King into the fray for a checkmate? I'm guessing this has to be a selfie/IG moment more than anything.
  2. If that is indeed the case I think Bethy has to stop thinking the world revolves around her. And stop "manufacturing drama". Though I think she's deluded herself into thinking that she owns the drama. Clueless.
  3. Well, her Jim Beam gravy train payoff could roll to a stop because of her own self-sabotage. She stands to gain something like a $20million payoff if she keeps her sales up and they are already down 26%. About the worst JB performer. Is there anyone less self-aware?
  4. This whole reporting the dog as a stray might make sense in a CYA way but I'm quite certain that had she stuck with the "stray" story and showed up at the hospital w/o the stray she would have been required to do rabies shots. They don't take chances with that. What a horrible person (persons) to allow this to happen. An attorney! Isn't something like that illegal and cause for disbarment?
  5. Bolding mine. Oh noes! What would YoYo say? Next stop, lesbianism! She almost looks happier doing the athletic stuff but I don't have much for comparison. Helluva jump.
  6. Double post to say another THANK YOU! to Jaded for the vid. Really enjoyed the interview and love that he was allowed to speak with little interruption. What a smart, witty, wonderful person. And no Whoopi! Now, off to check on his tour dates.
  7. Tuesday might be must-see-teevee for me. A movie! I did not know.
  8. Quote from @motorcitymom65 in episode thread (sorry, can't figure out how to copy/quote and paste comments to different thread) "When Heather didn't invite Ramona to London, that was a huge deal. Heather was a newbie. They were 7 or 8 episodes into her first season, and Ramona was a veteran. She said she did it because of her business. She was unsure of how Ramona would behave, and her business was important to her. She got hammered for that back in the day. People saying that it had nothing to do with her business. What could Ramona do to harm her business? People thought it was in response to Ramona being a bitch to Heather in her first episode. Heather was said to be trying to get back at her. I thought it was sheer perfection. Based on that alone, if Heather honestly believed that someone was coming for her business, she would avoid them like crazy, just like Beth did. " To me that kind of says that she felt threatened by Ramona's behavior but not by Bethy's competing (?) shape-wear line. Even when Bethy offers her own advice to Heather? And this allabouthetea article exposes B's hypocrisy, imho. Fom Bethy's own blog entry: "I find that on Housewives shows, being invited or not invited to something tends to be blown out of proportion, dragged out and takes on a life of itself. This concept is exhausting to me, and I knew exactly where Heather was going. It felt manufactured to stir up drama." I don't think she can have it both ways. That article reminded me that B has been really coarse and full of herself for longer than I realized. It just seems worse his season. But I was actually able to watch more last season.
  9. Ohhh. Is that the interview? Noooo! I can't do video right now. Thank you!
  10. I haven't seen the View interview and now I can't get my google hits to copy and paste quotes properly (argh) but he is saying he is transgender. That he identifies as both male and female but "fancies" women. He's called himself a "lesbian trapped in a male body". I'm guessing he might have also mentioned his goal to run 27 marathons in 27 days to raise money for Sport Relief, a "cousin" (my word) to Comic Relief. In 2009 he completed 43 marathons in 51 days for Sport Relief. Ouch. From Gay Star News. Eddie's wiki. I loved his stand-up and The Riches.
  11. I'm not so sure Heather would have gotten as incensed about Tipsy Girl as Bethy. She didn't seem threatened nor bothered when Bethy talked with her about her (B's) own shapers line. Didn't B even try to school her on new product? And I don't think Betthhenney is capable of true friendships. Too much MEMEME! I can better picture Carole friendly with Heather. Unless B's toxicity has infected Carole too.
  12. Imho, that was not a cookie. I know cookie, I love cookie, that was not a cookie. And it looked dry. Surprised she didn't try to blame Dam for his embellishments. That would have freaked me out. Get your hands off my plate!
  13. As someone who hates, detests and despises being called "sweetie" "honey" and etc. I can say unequivocally that "baby" and "babe" are equally offensive to me. So, bite me, Whoopi. What a week! I'm surprised no one pointed out the Nader-effect during the third candidate conversation. I looked at the guest list and wished I had watched Friday for Eddie Izzard. Hope they gave him some time. Off to google as I'm guessing he's promoting something and I love Eddie Izzard.
  14. I don't know about the dubbing but there are plenty of innocent citizens racing to escape. Sorry. Didn't see page jump and don't know how to get @ScoobieDoobs post/quote added.
  15. At the risk of lining up a straight line, what's that rack hold? The angles look unusual. And, are those windshield wipers I see??? Livin' large!
  16. Page Six is reporting Fred Savage as the co-host frontrunner. As are other media outlets.
  17. Dorinda is indeed stirring the pot but, to me, she just doesn't seem to be doing it maliciously. But I could have easily missed a lot. I don't think I've made it through an entire episode yet. It feels like everything B does is done with malice and comes from a place of "NO".
  18. Now, why didn't I think of that? That's right out of ANTM and I have binged on those more than once. Still a great shot! imho
  19. I kinda figured photoshop but the stilleto-shod almost-splits thing is impressive by itself. Unless that was shopped. What would Tyra say? Oh well, neat pic either way and Vogue should have expected blowback. I'm sure it's happened to others. I'm mainly thinking of the many many models doing SI swimsuit editions, until this year.
  20. Wow. Maybe someone should send them a link to these threads. Is it normal for someone other than the priest to dip their hand in the baptismal font? Like that child did? "Not much difference between an Irish christening and an Italian christening."
  21. My sentiments exactly. And if that's what she meant, thank goodness for the show! At least a few victims saw some recompense. And have now seen their thieving asses in prison. From the article: "Everything that happened to me, being in the public eye, unfortunately made it worse for me," she added. "And I feel like if I wasn't in the public eye, who knows what would have happened. Unfortunately when I first got into this, I didn't know all of this was going to happen, and I got into it for fun, not to be scrutinized, and to be jabbed at, to be under a microscope. Like, I didn't know anybody in Hollywood or California, I mean I grew up in Jersey! So I didn't know about any of this. So I really got into it blindly and I was very naive."
  22. Wow. Did not know that. Too many news people, imho, are getting too personal with their "reporting". When I think of Abrams I always picture him on the Supreme Court steps in 2000 riffling thru pages and pages of the Bush v Gore decision and trying to make enough sense of it to be able to quicly report the finding. I trusted him back then but see little of him now. He became very ill with cancer.
