  1. I just rewatched the episode 2X looking for the backstory. There was NONE. Sid did say Jill was a model citizen until 7 years ago but offered no explanation for why that changed. There wasn't any mention of a secret military operation or snaffu. There was no reason given for why Jamie promised to keep Jill's "secret." We don't even know what that secret was. This was a poorly constructed storyline with giant plot holes in it. You're right! There was no mention of Jill being denied help or benefits from the VA. I can't believe how the writers messed up this storyline. If any of these unanswered questions were addressed in the script, they wound up on the cutting room floor.
  2. I heard that 700 number too and wondered the same thing. Dreck is absolutely the right word for the crap they haven't shown us. It's probably the right word for most of what we've seen too which is pretty sad. I'm glad you mentioned the stone roadway. It was interesting for a minute but not any more. I was happy a few weeks ago when I thought they were going to find a sunken ship in the swamp but then water starting leaking in and they had to put that off until next season. I don't know know how much longer they can keep going. If die hard fans are losing interest, who's left to watch?
  3. Thank you. I don't remember that but like I said earlier, I wasn't really paying attention.
  4. Did someone say that something actually happened to her 7 years ago? I don't remember hearing that but I admit I wasn't paying much attention.
  5. Not only are there cameras everywhere but the rookie cop who was attacked should have had a body cam on as well. The episode was poorly written and very disappointing.
  6. I was very disappointed in this episode. The writers had to be having an off day when they put this episode together. Jamie's actions were so out of character. He should have backed up his partner and handled the issue with the homeless ex-Marine behind the scenes. Instead he publicly humiliated the rookie officer and then went as far as disputing his report. Whatever Jamie's version of the incident was, it was BS and he deserved to be suspended.. Jamie is my favorite character so that added an extra layer of disappointment for me. There were only two good things about this episode. 1) Danny showing up at the end was sweet and 2) NO ERIN STORY!!!!! ETA: Even though I always love seeing Anthony, I couldn't have cared less about Eddie's little side story. She's been getting on my nerves this season.
  7. Drilling Down is usually NOT interesting. That's what made this week's the exception. I've been watching Oak Island since day one and honestly don't know why I'm still watching; it's awful and this year was probably the worst.
  8. Tonight I caught up on the shows I missed during the week, New Amsterdam and both FBI shows. Unfortunately, I didn't care for any of them. I don't know why.........(is it because of Covid 19?) but they're just not that good this season. New Amsterdam jumped from one storyline to another much too quickly this week. It didn't give any of them enough time to make me care about them.
  9. I still don't understand what makes any of these storylines worthy of being put in the "FBI Most Wanted" category. This episode was OK but I'd rather not watch storylines about crimes committed by mentally disturbed individuals. I'm not picking up any chemistry between Jess and the horse trainer. She's so blah. I prefer the bounty hunter - I always liked Linda from Blue Bloods. I'm still mad that they cut her and really hated the way they killed her off.
  10. I actually enjoyed the Drilling Down segment this week. Seeing the production and camera crews was interesting. I'm glad I watched and IMHO the behind the scenes was more interesting than the regular episode.
  11. I finally got around to watching this week's episode on demand and didn't care for it at all. The story was boring and the added side story about Maggie's sister was even worse. I missed Tiffany and Scola. I think they're more interesting than Maggie and OA.
  12. I liked it too and I also liked Marshall Marshall :)
  13. Yeah. It took me a while to figure out that my DVR didn't record this week's episodes because of last week.
  14. I'll watch it this weekend on demand. I don't remember if it was one or both FBI shows but my cable company preempted it with coverage of the Chauvin verdict. My DVR recorded it, labeled it FBI but it wasn't so I erased it.
  15. Thanks. I have no idea why it didn't record. I'll have to catch it on demand.
  16. I couldn't watch and my DVR didn't pick it up. Was last night this new episode?
  17. I didn't get the point of that ad until I read about it here. Duh!
  18. In a way I guess I'm lucky because I wasn't watching back when Dawson was on. I only saw her briefly when she made an appearance on CPD. I came late to the Chicago series but was able to catch up on CPD since they're always showing reruns. I do like Brett with Casey, Unlike Stella, Brett is sweet, pretty and has a warm personality. Stella is none of those things.
  19. Thank you! I don't like Stellla at all and think the Stellaride combo is a joke. I have a hard time understanding what he might see in her. I don't think she's anything special.
  20. I was watching WE also and saw the Criminal Minds ad for the first time. They really nailed that one featuring Shemar Moore the way they did. He's very easy on the eyes.
  21. Some brands have completely abandoned the "Diet" label in favor of "Zero" - Arizona iced tea is one and Schwepps Ginger Ale is another. I know those two because I buy both of them.
  22. I don't remember seeing too many hoodies but I'm sure you're right. I do remember seeing quite a few knit hats though. Regardless, grabbing someone by the hair is painful.
  23. Exactly! I thought these shows have a technical expert on site to prevent these mistakes. Obviously, I was wrong.
  24. It's not safe and I've been complaining about this for years. The same goes for Burgess' pony tail. it's too easy fo grab.
  25. I agree with both of you. I've never listened to a podcast and doubt I ever will.
