  1. I didn't see that interview but did read that he said he had nothing currently scheduled with Hallmark. Did he actually say they parted ways? I know in 2023 he signed a multi-movie deal with Hallmark so I'm confused and there was talk of him starring in a Hallmark mystery series.
  2. I'd prefer if they just sweep her away. She could/should move back east. She's become incredibly self-centered and annoying.
  3. Even though I absolutely hate what Elizabeth just did to Lucas, there's a part of me that feels Lucas is better off without her. I love Chris McNally and was Team Lucas all the way. I should note that I'm also a Kevin McGarry fan but I'm not a Nathan fan. He seems wishy washy - too much so for a mountie.
  4. I hope you're right. There's a gap between 1923 Yellowstone and present day Yellowstone.
  5. I liked this episode. It made me feel good to see what's her name (Warner) so angry. It was also great to see NO JIMMY but too bad the barrel racer chick was back. I thought they were gone for good. I guess if we have to have one, Laramie is preferable. I never could warm up to Mia. The Kayce/Monica storyline keeps getting worse. I don't care about Monica and never did. I'd love to see Kayce have a new love interest......Avery where are you? LOL It would be great if after 1923 there was another spinoff featuring Josh Lucas as the young John Dutton
  6. I wasn't referring to the items found, bought or sold but rather to the fact that they were planted/priced in advance and the dialogue is mostly scripted.
  7. I tend to puddle up easily and that one sure triggers it.
  8. It's too bad that both American Pickers and Pawn Stars are both among the most fake reality shows on TV. I can't quote a source or provide a link off the top of my head but if you search for "fake reality shows" I'm sure you'll find them. I do believe Rick is knowledgeable about history but working from a script sure helps him.
  9. I'm sure some people will say it's dumb but I love the "the peanut butter box is here" Chewy commercial. There's two dogs and a Chewy box is delivered and left on the porch. The large dog is all happy and keeps saying "the peanut butter box is here" but the small dog corrects him saying it's their flea medicine. The big dog totally ignores him and keeps repeating "the peanut butter box is here." There's just something abut the dog's expression and the voiceover that cracks me up.
  10. I thought they did an excellent job of filming in the dark. I was able to see what was happening despite the lack of light. Most TV shows do a lousy job of filming in the dark so this was a pleasant surprise.
  11. I just watched the season finale and have to say I was disappointed. It seemed rushed, disorganized and confusing to watch. At the very end where was Bernie?
  12. This post is not about a specific commercial but about subliminal messaging during commercials. I record shows on my DVR because I like being able to watch them whenever I want and to FF through the commercials. Twice this week while FFing through commercials on shows I recorded I noticed something odd during the commercials. About half way through what seemed like an endless number of commercials there was a shot of the TV show I was watching - no text just what seemed like a scene from the show. Once it was of two detectives on Law & Order and the other time it was the town hall building featured on In The Heat of the Night. Both times I thought the commercials had ended and the show was back on but it wasn't. I think they did that on purpose so people like me who are FFing through commercials stop FFing and get to see another commercial or two. I can't think of another reason for doing that. If any of you are advertising/marketing professionals, please explain it. ETA: I'm not sure subliminal messaging is the right term to use here since it wasn't selling anything except "stop FFing." LOL
  13. So far the best thing that happened this week is the END OF THE AMAZON PRIME DAY commercial. I hated the obvious copycat Michael Jackson style.
  14. You're not telling us anything we didn't already know. I can't speak for anyone else but personally, I'm not interested. The show doesn't explore most side stories because they're not relevant to the main plot and also because most people don't care. There are only 10 hours of Yellowstone per season. If they took the time to go into each and everyone one (like the mother & child on the road) there wouldn't be enough time to deal with the main storyline.
  15. I've been using Stop and Shop's home delivery (Peapod) for years and I love it. I had several surgeries a while back and grocery shopping wasn't something I could do. I still have issues so I get my groceries delivered. Their service is fabulous, their deliveries are on time and the drivers are friendly but professional.
  16. Thank you. I think I know which scene you mean but I also didn't think anything happened. It's just the two of them walking. I'll watch it again. This time I'll do it with the closed captions on. There were a few spots that I couldn't understand what they were saying. One of them is just before ceremony Anna's father tells a joke about an Indian and a convertible. I watched it several times and still have no idea what he said.
  17. I'm so glad I decided to give Dark Winds a try. I'm loving it. I did have to watch each episode more than once to figure out what was happening. I haven't read the books but I'm sure I will. I didn't understand why Anna's dad was so angry with Leaphorn. He was angry before he knew his daughter had been killed so that wasn't the reason. I hope someone here can explain it.
  18. This episode certainly did not live up to the hype. I liked seeing Casey again. The smile on his face when he walked into 51 was probably the best part of the finale. The only other great moment was Emma's departure. Having her freak out and get called out for it was fun to watch. The rest of the episode was meh. I wasn't impressed with the wedding. Severide always looks good but Stella didn't. The dress wasn't right for her and her hair was not flattering. She looked better when Chloe was doing her makeup and her hair was loose.
  19. My friend and I spent a good hour trying to figure out the timeline for 1932 and we still aren't sure. I think Harrison Ford will probably be John Dutton's grandfather. I say that because it would leave time for Taylor Sheridan to make another spinoff set during WWII. LOL
