This thread was an interesting read. Thanks to everyone who posted. I'm going to switch gears for a bit and comment on Daryl and Leroy. I was never happy with the addition of Daryl as a recurring character but I do enjoy Leroy. I like the actor and think his scenes with Hondo are well done. I can't say the same for Daryl. I don't think the young actor is believable and I hated the Daryl's custody woes storyline. The day to day of the SWAT team is far more interesting. Hopefully, we'll see Leroy make a go of the auto shop and watch his relationship with Hondo improve and I wouldn't mind Daryl getting shut out of that storyline.

I seriously doubt if I'll watch the entire season of this show. We're only 4 episodes in and I'm not loving or even liking it. I can't stand Saint Olivia and they keep bringing her back. I don't know why they think she's a draw. I think she's bringing the show down. Meloni doesn't need her. He's a much better actor than she is.

I'm a Progresso soup lover too. I haven't tried Rao's yet but heard good things about it. I'm always amazed at the original dishes these chefs whip up - especially when they have to cook outdoors. That's really hard to do.

I liked Kristen when she was doing technical work in the bullpen but she didn't seem to have whatever it takes to be a field agent. I think she lacked self confidence. What I enjoy the most about Tiffany is that they're featuring her with Scola more and that means less OA and Maggie. I was getting tired of OA and Maggie solving every FBI case in New York.

My interest in this show depends entirely on the cast. I'm hoping there will be characters (actors) I can warm up to like I did with Rip Wheeler, John and Kayce Dutton. [Sigh]

I've always liked Eddie but I'm liking her less and less this season. This isn't the first time she questioned Jaime's decisions in front of other officers. It's one thing to bug him at home but quite another to do it in public and it's about time she realized it. As for Erin and Jack...........I dislike Erin 99% of the time. The exception being when she's with Jack. He's able to break through her ice queen persona and make her less bitchy. I've been looking at this season with the idea that it's the last one and they're setting us up for the end. Jack and Erin is a good example. I doubt we'll see them officially get back together but I do think it will end with that looking like a real possibility. It might be the same with Danny and Baez. I expected much more from Baker in this episode. I don't think they explored her acting chops by writing it the way they did. She seemed relatively unaffected by the experience. Where was her husband? He should have been at the hospital. Speaking of missing persons, where has Joe been lately? They introduced a new family member and haven't bothered to include him in the Sunday dinners.

I heard (cannot verify) that Selleck wanted a two year contract last year but was offered only one year. The renewal gives him that 2nd year. For at least the past three seasons, I've been predicting it was the last and I've been wrong year after year. That said, I don't think I'm wrong this time. Sadly, Season 12 will likely be the last.

Holy crap! I had no idea that Chad was played by an adult woman until I read about it here. I watched the pilot and I will never watch it again unless I fell asleep watching something earlier and woke up and it was on. It was terriblle and not worth another minute of my time. Thanks to everyone for letting me know about the actor. ETA: I don't understand how anyone thought this was a good idea.

Weber also played the Mayor of New Orleans on NCIS New Orleans for X number of seasons. I don't think he's played a good guy since Wings. Then again, I could be wrong but I think he might have briefly played a love interest for Mary McCormick on USA's In Plain Sight. Isn't there supposed to be someone dedicated to continuity working these shows? Either that aspect is missing from most of these shows or I've finally lost what was left of my mind.

I agree. They've strayed too far from the original formula to be able to use the L&O name. Then again, it's all about marketing and I can't blame Dck Wolfe for trying to cash in on his creation.

You're right! I think that's why they didn't name the school. It may depend on whether or not they're renewed for another season. He could opt to go to school locally and continue filming or go off to college like Jack did.
