  1. Central Michigan is "the other CMU" to us Carnegie Mellon grads. :-)
  2. Vulva. The word you're looking for is "vulva." That's the name for the external female genitalia. Fran is living with Hannah now, as far as we know. That complicates his instinct to flee. But, flee he must. That Hannah isn't fired yet is as mystifying as her being hired in yhe first place. Shouldn't a private school have higher standards, and want like a teacher's license?
  3. The actual EAB scene was what I would have liked to have seen more of in this series. Working with artists to produce music. Also, Jaime didn't do anything this episode except sit on the studio couch. With her clothes on.
  4. "Honey! Someone on the internet says you're wrong!" LOL
  5. How did Chuck have so many lights on in his house, and yet it was still so dark? And, on that theme, do the lawyers in Doc Review really work with no overhead lights and just table lights? Just a very dark episode, in terms of cinematography.
  6. "The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Richie Finestra"
  7. Watches can be non-electric. That would be my assumption. Some people upthread discussed the same thing. If the showrunners meant for us to think that was proof of Chuck's being duplicitous, they failed.
  8. He didn't know Jimmy was coming over. He was under the blanket because it soothes his "condition." He's not doing it to manipulate anybody. It's his sickness. If we were shown that he was enjoying himself in his house, when, hearing Jimmy knock, he suddenly jumps under his space blanket, that would be one thing. We haven't been shown that. If he's doing it all in order to manipulate people, he has really committed to the bit. Yanking all your wires out and living without a refrigerator or A/C is a long way to go to consciously choose to manipulate others.
  9. The cost of humoring Chuck on his sensitivity to electronics is pretty small. He seems to be able to conduct himself normally and provide counsel when he is there, so it's not like he is a complete liability when he comes to the office. It's not hard to imagine that the partners have personal assistants who run errands for them, so Chuck's isn't that different. Even if it is something just he enjoys, again, it's a small cost to keep the partner happy. As for Howard and Chuck's backstory, maybe that will be the next prequel?
  10. This was established in the first season. If Chuck is declared unfit, then he would have to cease being a partner. Which means his share of the firm would need to be cashed out. That would be a problem for the other partners.
  11. I do not believe Chuck was deliberately not answering the door and trying to look extra pathetic for Jimmy's sake. I think he is truly "wiped out" by his days going to the office.
  12. I don't think Kim was keeping quiet when she was being questioned by Howard because she was protecting Jimmy. She was in a situation where there was nothing she could say that would improve her position.
  13. So Shosh decides to become an illegal alien? Het entire storyline was preposterous. Hired out of college with no experience for a position in a foreign country? I don't think so. An apartment that size for a low level employee in Japan? Hardly. The entire S&M scene? Weird even for this show. More Ray, please. Less pretentious Marnie.
  14. He went dumpster diving. Don't know if that's "ethical," but it's certainly not respectable.
  15. And they might very well have done so if Jimmy had done the right thing and run it by the partners first. Corporate communication is an important thing, especially so with a law firm. You can't just have someone who has been with the company a month (or so) running ads using the company logo and name. It's madness! He exposes the firm to potential liability.
  16. Ed was protecting her. He comes home from work, sits down to his Hamburger Helper only to discover Peggy has left a dead man in her windshield. Except, he's not completely dead. Only mostly dead. So, he kills the guy and disposes of the body. He did that to protect her. That's what a man does for his wife (and, what a wife does for her husband). it's not sexist to note that the crazy lady is crazy. Peggy wasn't judged as "bad" or "damaged" for wanting more for her life. She isn't a symbol of female empowerment which is being denigrated or kept down by "the Patriarchy." She's crazy. She's not a role model. In searching for a feminist narrative, you are missing the entire picture. Mike Milligan isn't all black people. Hanzee isn't all Native Americans. Peggy isn't all women. Lou isn't a sexist for shutting her up when she still remained focused on herself and making excuses for her behavior. He would have shut up Ed if Ed was doing the same thing.
  17. OK, didn't need the UFO. This series is so well done that it doesn't need gimmicks. The phone booth in the middle of nowhere by the state line was odd. Two other things that seem like anomalies to me: 1. The convenience store clerk dialing 911. It seems to me that 911 wasn't very widespread until the 1980s. I guess it depended upon the area. 2. A motel in the middle of nowhere with a coffee maker in the room? This seemed out of place as well. Of course, the hot water was needed as a plot point, so it makes sense for the story.
  18. It was explained in that previous episode. Something like since he was being super-killed by the bad aliens in the sky, that instead of getting immortality, he just got to be not dead. Is there some reason that the guy with the time machine can't just go back and visit with Clara back before she died?
  19. It's quite possible that Bear did inform his mom before he took care of Simone. Or right after.
  20. Andy showing up at the end to say "I broke off my engagement cause i'm in love with you" would have been awesome. Them continuing to cheat on Beth, not so much. C'mon, show. Let's do this right and stop jerking these characters around.
  21. Ed didn't buy the Hamburger Helper. He just looked at it.
  22. Simone was sleeping with the enemy. Her little phone call got the family HQ shot up and Otto killed. You think Floyd is fine with all that cause Simone is a girl? I don't.
  23. You don't get to be a crime family by letting people kill your family members and go unpunished. Bear was willing to leave Dodd "lost and presumed dead" so he could be in charge, but if he knew that his brother was murdered (and by a close associate), he would have to avenge the death. I think if Hanzee had a plan, it was to pin the death of Dodd on Ed and Peggy.
  24. Hanzee finally actualized. Seriously, he took advantage of the opportunity. Dodd was presumed dead. He had people he could blame the death on. And he'd had enough crap for one day. I froze the image to try to figure it out, but still don't know what was supposed to be on the "Wounded Knee" sign. Looked red.
  25. HELE = Human Extinction Level Event Whatever is going to happen is going to wipe out the entire population, making the wasteland we see in the future. The plan of Erica Kravid is to time travel selected humans and evos, along with materiel to create a new civilization.
